" Please change it back. " Ryuzaki said more calmly.

Matsuda ran to the phone with Aizawa calling as well.

He ran to the door saying he was going to do it himself. He left and the door slammed behind him.

   " People in the world please listen to me. The last thing I want to do is kill the innocent. I hate evil and love justice. I've always thought of the police as allies, not as enemies. "

I could see Ryuzaki biting his thumb in agitation no doubt curing Kira in his head.

   " My intent is to create a perfect world without evil. If you are willing to join me I know we can make it happen and as long as no one tries to catch me I promise that the innocent will not die. "

I couldn't listen anymore. I covered my ears and walked to the window. I looked outside and uncovered my ears and listened to the rest. I was shaking. I could feel anxiety rising up in me. I was shaking and my chest felt tight. The program was interrupted and showed us the broadcasting station.

   " Look! " Matsuda shouted.

I looked at the TV and saw Ukita dead at the doors.

   " Oh my God. "

   " U-Ukita? Damn it! Kira did this. " Aizawa then ran trying to get out of the room. But before he could leave Ryuzaki raised his voice with a stern tone.

   " Mr. Aizawa! Where are you going? "

   " Where do you think? I'm gonna go there. "

   " You can't please think about this rationally. "

   " What you want me to just sit here and watch TV! "

   " If this truly is the work of Kira you'll just meet the same fate if you go there. "

   " You told us that Kira couldn't kill without a name and a face! So, how could this happen! "

   " the aliases and fake police IDs are worthless. What are we going to do L? You don't think Kira has all our names already do you? " Matsuda asked.

   " I meant what I said, but risking my life to catch Kira and doing something that I know will cost me my life are two entirely different things. "

I stepped up to the two of them and held Aizawa's hands that were on his shoulder. Aizawa looked at me with the same anger he showed Ryuzaki. I pointed to Ryuzaki's shaking form and spoke for him so he wouldn't have to say it himself. 

   " Please control yourself. We lost Ukita. It's understandable that you want to go there, but if something were to happen to you as well......it-it...."

I couldn't finish my sentence my own body began to shake more. Aizawa seemed to understand and let go of Ryuzaki. Once he did I detached myself from them and walked back to the window and looked at the view trying to stop my form from shaking, but I failed. 

   " I want a response from the police. They must decide to help me create a better world for all of us or continue to defy me. Please make your announcement on the 6 o'clock news in 4 days. I've prepared two videos. One to air if the answer is yes and one for if the answer is no. "

I felt something warm put over my shoulders and I saw that Matsuda had covered me in a blanket. He hugged me gently and I continued to shake as I watched the TV.

The TV displayed a van crashing into the TV station. We watched in anticipation.

   " It's Mr. Yagami! " I said interrupting Matsuda

   " What? "

A police car arrived at the police station. Ryuzaki called the deputy of the police. Two police officers fell to the ground and died of heart attacks. Then Mr. Yagami called him.

We all watched as the police force covered the front entrance. We saw the car drive away with Mr. Yagami in it and with the tapes. A news broadcaster or the head of police talked to the camera about how Kira was wrong and how the police were ready to fight him. I sat down on the couch and took a breath in and breathed out. I tried calming myself and to get my anxiety down.
