" Yotsuba? Hmm, interesting. "

   ' Could Kira really have been someone working with the Yotsuba group? At first, the signs showed a student but since both Ryuzaki and I are wrong maybe I should be more open-minded about Yotsuba. '

It's already been a couple of days since Mogi, Matsuda, and Mr. Yagami resigned from the NPA. It was a challenging decision for Aizawa and Matsuda. Matsuda ended up resigning but Aizawa stayed with the NPA. He had a family to support, so it was understandable why he resigned. I still remember that day, and especially what Ryuzaki said.

   " If you want my opinion, you'd all be better off as police officers. I was with Y/n when I started this case, and even though I am grateful to all of you for staying with me for as long as you have I know I can do this by myself. I'll be sure to visit you at the department and bring you Kira's head as a reward for all you've sacrificed. Y/n can return to her regular life as well and attend college. I already regret taking Y/n with me through all of this. She deserves a life without danger. "

   " Ryuzaki as long as I am alive you won't be working alone. You have my word on that. "

   " Yes, that's right. I'll be working with Light so I won't be alone after all. "

   " Ryuzaki we started this case together I'm not going to let you finish it without me. " I said stepping up and sitting beside him.

   " However, our personal lives have gotten involved in this, Ryuzaki. So, wouldn't it be our decision whether to return back to the NPA or not? "

   " Hmm, good point. Then, by all means, make your decision. "

Ryuzaki had eaten a cherry and then stuck the stem in his mouth. Then he pulled the stem out and it was tied in a knot.

It's only been a couple of days since Aizawa quit working with us. It already feels wrong. It feels as if we are missing something. Ryuzaki added two new members to the task force as well. A conman named Aiber and a woman named Wendy who is a thief by trade. Right now we were researching the Yotsuba.

   " What's wrong? You've been starring at me for the last 2 minutes. "

I looked up from my computer and over at Ryuzaki. My computer and monitor were between Light and Ryuzaki so I could look both ways and see one of them. Ryuzaki was eating cake and asking Light what was going on. I scooted back so they could make eye contact and talk.

   " Wait, let me guess. You must be annoyed because I'm the only one eating cake at the moment, am I right? "

   " Uh, no, that's not it. "

   " Here. " He held out the cake for Light to take.

   " Really don't worry about it. "

We heard beeping and Watari's voice could be heard on the other side of the monitor. Detective Eraldo Coil has a private request. He's the second greatest detective in the world, right behind L. He's part of the Yotsuba group so we couldn't accept the help, but...I don't know.

   " It's quite alright. Eraldo Coil is me. It's quite simple really. Three of the greatest detectives in the world, L, Coil, and Deneuve... they're all actually me. It's been my experience that people who try to find me usually do this. "

He took the strawberry off of his plate and held it out for Mogi.

   " I'll give you this strawberry if you keep it a secret okay? "

Mogi nodded and took the strawberry. We continued to talk with the conman and thief until Watari gave us another call.

   " I have just received an emergency signal from Matsuda's belt. "

   " Uh, where is he? " He asked

   " It seems that it's coming from within the head office of the Yotsuba group. "

   " Matsuda you idiot! "

He looked mad. He doesn't usually look mad, but when he does you can tell. After a little while of Ryuzaki thinking, he called Matsuda.

   " Yo, Matsui! Ah, it's me, Asahi. It's been a while, buddy! "

   " Asahi! Yeah, it's been a long time. "

   " It doesn't sound like you're out right now. Don't tell me you're home already? "

   ' That voice makes him sound like an actual college student that likes drinking. '

   " Yeah... "

   " So, you by yourself? "

   " Yeah. I'm by myself. What's up? "

   " He's not with Misa Amane right now. Matsuda must be on his own. So, do you wanna, like, go out drinking tonight? "

   " Huh? Right now? Oh, sorry. I'll have to pass tonight. "

   " Oh, what's the matter? Don't tell me your wallet is in trouble again? "

   " Yeah, that's right. Bug troubles with money. You know me way too well."

   " Matsuda's saying he's in big trouble. Oh, that's too bad. Guess I'll drag you out some other time, all right? See ya, buddy. "

   " What should we do Ryuzaki? " Mr. Yagami asked

   " For right now let's just watch the situation. If Matsuda were to die it would prove our theory right about Yotsuba. Let's just watch for now and not interfere unless we have to. "
