Recap-

"Ahhh!" I shrieked, falling over the edge of my bed, arms flailing in the air. I landed on top of my mini

garbage can. That unfortunately had a half eaten yogurt in it I had thrown out earlier.

"You've never been the lucky one have you?" Blake laughed.

I got up, yogurt sticking to my back.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, stretching out the you in annoyance.

"We need to talk." He stated.

"How about no and you go fall off a cliff?" I suggested sweetly.

"Hope. I would not be here if what I had to say wasn't important."

"Fine! Just get out for a min so I can change my top!" I huffed. I hated him with a passion.

I took longer then I needed to change. I thought maybe he would get tired of waiting, and just leave. But nope. He was there when I opened the door to my bedroom.

He stepped in as I turned, and went, and sat at my computer chair. Swivelling around to face him, he then began.

"You and Sadie need to make up," He stated.

"I thought she was to busy 'making out' with you." I sneered

"The thing is, I actually like her,"

CHAPTER 7
I stared at blake in disbelief. The guy that I dated for a year and was always there for me. But also the guy who broke my heart.

"Like you said you actually liked me?" I asked.

He went quiet, starring at me with his big brown eyes.

"I did like you. Just things...happen. And I know that does not make what I did right, but I am sorry," he apologized running a hand through his dirty blond floppy hair.

"Even if I made up with Sadie, there is no way in heck I'd let you have that chance of hurting her as badly as you hurt me. Sadie is a good person she deserves better then you."

He looked stunned like I had slapped him. And I guess what I said could have been considered mean, but I didn't care. It was the truth.

He looked down at the ground, " maybe so. But right now she needs you Hope. Out of you, Sandra and Della, you are the one she feels closest to. She is going through a tough time just like you were when we broke up. The only difference is  she was there for you the whole time while you've been ignoring her for a while now. Believe me or not. I care about her but she doesn't need me she needs you. Her best friend."

Wow. Now that was something. But before I could get all hung up on how smart Blake had gotten since our break up. He was right. Sadie needed me.

                     -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Later on

I stood outside of Sadie's dark brown house. I didn't know if she was home. I didn't call or text Sadie before kicking Blake out of my house, and heading over here. I didn't really think about it till now.

As I walked up the cement steps to the red door of Sadie's house, I didn't feel angry anymore. Not angry at Blake or Sadie or anyone for that matter. All I wanted right then and there was to talk to Sadie.

As I neared the door I suddenly heard yelling increasing in volume  with each step I took forward. There was slamming of doors maybe. And as I raised my hand to knock on the front door it swung open, revealing a very disheveled looking Mrs. Sanchez.

"Oh! Mrs. Sanchez I'm sorry I didn't mean to..." I began but was interrupted by shouting from in the house.

"And you know what Linda?!? I'll burn the rest of them! And you see what you'll have left to wear!!" Mr. Sanchez screamed, as he stomped from the living room. His eyes widened when he saw me standing in front of his wife. they were an odd looking couple mr. sanchez was short and squat with the same hazel eyes as Sadie. her mom however was tall and tan with long curly black hair like Sadies.

"Oh hello Hope..I didn't know you were there. I'm sorry you had to here that," Mr. Sanchez said embarrassed. his big round face flushed pink  and he crossed his short arms across his chest.

"Is Sadie home?" I asked pretending like the situation was not completely awkward at all.

"She's in her room," Mrs. Sanchez replied her face tired.

I walked passed them into their big house and stopped midway. Turning to them I knew what I had to say for Sadie.

"I know its none of my beeswax. But maybe you should remember the walls in your house aren't sound proof. And your loving daughter has great hearing."

I said it bravely, but then turned and scurried down the hall to Sadie's room. I knew her parents probably did not like me putting in my two scents. But they did need to be reminded that Sadie could hear them and what they are going through has an affect on her too.

I knocked on her bedroom door, which like her room, was purple. I didn't get an answer so I barged in. I know not very polite but I was worried.

When I saw Sadie my heart broke. She sat there knees to her chest, tears spilling down her cheeks. Her black blond streaked curls sat flat and tangled against her head. Her purple throw pillows scattered across the floor.

"Survive a wild party?" I joked not really knowing what to say, and mostly because I wanted her to smile and be normal Sadie again.

"Do you still hate me?" She asked hoarsely, her throat probably sore from sobbing.

"No, and I never did."

Before I even knew what was happening she flew across her room and jumped on me.  Now I don't know if I told you this, but I'm much shorter then Sadie.

So with the force of her hug, I practically flew backward and we both hit the floor.

"Owwww," I groaned, as Sadie rolled off of me.

"Umm maybe that wasn't such a good idea," Sadie announced softly.

I laughed. This whole thing was funny. Everything. I laughed so hard I started to cry.

When I looked up at Sadie she was smiling. After all she's been through I didn't expect her to laugh but at least she smiled. That was a start. I wiped away my tears.

"You could have killed me!" I shouted and that seemed to get to her to crack.

Sadie broke out in to giggles, her black tangled curls bouncing. And I beamed that I managed to make her laugh.

We lay on her floor for a bit. She had stopped laughing by then, and we sat in quietness, just thinking.

I sat up and faced her, pulling my knees to my chest, much like how she was sitting when I first entered.

"I'm so sorry. You needed me and I let my stupid head get in the way. The truth is, I'm done with Blake and he isn't apart of my life anymore. But that doesn't mean he can't be apart of my friends lives. I'm worried he may hurt you. But if you want to go for it, you have my blessings. It's your life. But if he hurts you he won't have a life anymore cuz I'll throw him in a volcano. And I mean that," I apologized, leaving Sadie wide eyed.

She smiled and opened her mouth about to say something but I held up my hand to stop her, "Wait there is more. I know you aren't only upset about the whole Blake thing either. You needed me for more then just a heart break. And I know I let you down, even if you think you are the only one at fault. You aren't. If you need a place to stay while your parents...figure out whats going on between them. My door is always open. And I mean always even if me and parents left the country. Just walk in. For now on I am here for you."

She looked at me, tears filling her eyes. "I've missed you so much Hope."

I smiled at her, the tears in my eyes already spilling. I gave her a hug and said, "I've missed you too."

I pulled back then, and smiled evilly, "Now are you ready to get some well deserved revenge on your ex boy friend?"
