NEXT DAY:

Manager-nim called us in his office the girls were already here waiting for us in our practice room. We went to manager-nim's office and greeted him.

Manager-nim: Since our comeback was a great hit I have seen many requests from armies on the social media accounts of the bighit they are requesting for a collab of bts with IU since her songs are getting trending too. So I contacted IU's manager and she agreed for the collab.

OMG!! did I just hear that was this happening for real? I am going to collab with IU noona the one I've doted since her debut. I am really happy we all will sing with her. I was smiling crazily until I heard manager-nim called my name.

Manager-nim: And Jungkook you know there are many fanbases that ship you and IU they want you both to sing a duet. So be prepared, and guys IU will be coming here today and we'll discuss things about the song and the lyrics and also it's music. So you guys come up with some ideas. Now you may leave.

Bts: Ne! Kamsahamnida!!

We left manager-nim's office and again I was lost in a trance I was walking towards our practice room while staring in the air I was lost in my own thoughts. I didn't know all the boys were calling my name. All I was thinking about was IU we have never collaborated before first I was happy that we will be collaborating with IU noona in the whole group but then I got super nervous when I heard that I'll have to perform a duet with her. I haven't ever interacted with her properly whenever I see her at any award shows I get really nervous but now I'll have to sing with her. Her voice is so good will she like my singing? What if I can't perform well in front of her it'll be so embarrassing.

I reached the practice room and sat in one of the corners still thinking about it. Just her thought made me so nervous what will happen when she will actually be in front of me I will have to act cool.

I finally stopped thinking about her when I felt someone shaking me really hard. I turned to see who it was.

V: What The Hell Jungkook what were you thinking we all were calling your name for the past 10 minutes. Are you feeling sick?

Jungkook: Uuhh. N-no.

V: Are you sure cause you don't seem to be okay.

Jungkook: Hmm.

V: What hmm? What happened to you tell us.

Then I saw everyone was surrounding me and everyone was looking at me skeptically.

Jungkook: Nothing hyung I am fine.

J-Hope: I think I know the reason why he is acting so weird.

He smiled at me. What was he thinking? Does he really now the reason.

J-Hope: Remember what manager-nim said we are collaborating with IU and you guys know Jungkook has liked IU ever since her debut so he is just nervous about how to face her. I am right Kookie?

I just nodded.

Stella: WHAT YOU GUYS ARE COLLABORATING WITH IU?

V: Yes do you also like IU?

Stella: I- uh well yes.

V: She'll be coming here soon so you guys can meet her.

STELLA POV

As soon I heard the reason behind Jungkook's weird behavior I turned and saw Y/N's smile morphed into a sad expression her face just dropped. When she saw me looking at her she faked a smile and looked away. I went up to her and patted her back. I know she loves Jungkook very much not just as a fan and she would always feel down whenever she would she someone shipping IU and Jungkook. She would always keep her feelings at the bay by telling us and herself that she is just a fan while he is an idol and IU is perfect in every aspect for him from her voice to her looks and besides that he also likes her. But we didn't ever buy it cause we knew she was doing that just to convince herself.

But now that we were so close to them it would be hurting her more to see Jungkook talk about IU. Then Eli came up to us.

Eli: Are you okay Y/n?

Y/N: Yeah I am absolutely fine why are you guys behaving like I am sick.

Eli: Stop acting your eyes are already glistening with the tears that are threatening to fall.

V: Hey guys are you okay?

Y/N: Y-

Eli: Excuse us V can we leave now.

Stella: Yes Y/N is not feeling well.

Then I saw Y/N quickly wiped her wet eyes and stood in front of Eli.

Y/N: No Eli it's okay it was just some dust that's it. I am sorry for the misunderstanding V, actually something got into my eyes and they thought I was crying they are really very overprotective for me. You guys continue to prepare yourself we'll wait for IU.

V: You sure?

Y/N: Absolutely.

She said while showing two thumbs up while V smiled and went back.

Eli: What is wrong with you?!! Do you like to hurt yourself this way?

Y/N: It's okay guys it was going to happen someday I guess the day is today when I'll have to forget about all the feelings for Jungkook since we were never meant to be. I know I was so pathetic to think about the possibility that we can be together. It's okay I'll be fine.

I saw her eyes welled up with tears again.

Eli: No you are n-

Jin: Hey girls what are you doing here? IU is here come let's go meet her.

Eli: Sorry we can-

Y/N: Let's go.

Jin: Yup.
