We arrived back at the Hype House. We changed into something more comfortable. We then sat down on our bed and I explained Avani what happened.

Av- Asshole.
E- He literally hit me.
Av- Does it hurt?
E- No
Av- Oh
E- It did hurt a bit when he hit me.
Av- Tell Bryce.
E- He is gonna kill him.
Av- You have a point.
I chuckled and cuddled up to Avani. She let me cry on her shoulder and we eventually fell asleep.

I got up the next morning. Josh and Anthony were sleeping on the bed next to us. I gave Avani a kiss on the cheek and I whispered to her
E- When Ant wakes up, tell him what happened but ask him not to tell anyone.
She nodded as she gave me a kiss on the cheek too.
I went to the kitchen. There were Charli, Ryland, and Nick.
E- Good morning everyone!
C- Good morning El!
Charli gave me a hug. I gave Nick and Ryland a smile as I grabbed Charli's hand and pulled her in the living room with me.
C- You okay?
E- I'm mad at Josh.
C- Why?
I explained to her what happened. We talked about it for a bit and then we went back to the kitchen to eat breakfast. More people were there. Anthony, Avani, Thomas, Mia and Jaden. I gave everyone a smile and hugged Avani and Jaden. Anthony was sitting down eating cereal. He looked at me and mouthed "Are you okay?" I mouthed back "No". He got up and gave me a hug and whispered
A- Avani told me.
E- Oh, okay.
Jaden looked at us.
Ja- Am I missing anything El?
E- Kinda.
Jaden pulled me in a room.
Ja- Wanna talk about it?
I told him what happened.
Ja- I'll talk to him.
E- Sure.
I walked back to the kitchen. I grabbed some cereal. I started eating when I saw Josh coming towards me.
J- El.
I got up and left. I sat outside enjoying the view. I felt someone place their hand on my shoulder. I turned around. Quinton.
Q- So you and Josh?
E- Me and Josh what?
Q- I heard you guys fighting last night?
E- Wai-
Q- I followed you. I wanted to apologize about what happened the other night, I was kinda drunk. I then saw you listening to Josh and Nessa's conversation and then you walked into the room. I saw Nessa walking out. She gave me a weird look. I then heard you walking away so I hid in one of the rooms.
E- Stacker.
We laughed.
Q- I'm not! Now to the point. Are you good?
E- Yeah.
Q- I'm always here for you if you need anyone to talk to.
E- Thanks Quin. But I don't know if I can trust you.

It was at about 4.30 PM. I was watching a movie with Avani. She is leaving in a few hours to visit her family for the weekend. By the way, on Monday we are going back to the Sway House. We finished the movie. I helped Avani do some last-minute packing. We then headed downstairs, I gave her the biggest hug ever. We were both crying a little.
B- Come on you two. You'll see each other in two days.
I hugged Avani. She leaned in and whispered:
Av: I really don't wanna leave you. I know what you've been going through but you are the stronger girl I know so you will get through this. I'll facetime you as much as I can, I promise.
I tighten the hug. Addison then hugged Avani.
Av- Take care of my wifey.
Ad- Of course.

It was now nighttime. Avani texted me that she got home safely. She flew all the way to Indiana so I didn't really wanna bother her, I want to let her rest. I went outside where everyone else was. I sat next to Addison and we just gossiped for a bit, I, of course, told her what happened with Josh. I then saw Josh coming outside.
Ad- There he is.
E- I don't wanna talk to him.
Ad- Maybe you should.
E- He hasn't even bothered talking to me all day.
Ad- I mean, you told Ant to tell Josh not to talk to you.
E- You have a point.
I looked over at Josh. He was staring at me so I immediately looked away. Then I saw him walking up to me.
J- Ellie, can we please talk?
I didn't reply, I was just staring at my hands.
J- Please, El.
I looked up at him and then Addison. She nodded.
I got up and followed Josh.

J- Look, I'm sorry.
E- I've been here for you through everything. Nessa cheated on you, I helped you get through it. I broke up with Nick. I wasn't planning on moving on for a while. But I did. I fell for you, Josh. But you don't even care about me, you don't care about my feelings. Are you just messing with me? Was this thing between us just a joke for you. You are telling me, my help is stupid. I helped you through everything. I want to be 100% honest with you, you helped me too, but then you hurt me. I don't know what to do anymore Josh. I don't know what to say anymore. Just do yourself a favor and grow the fuck up.
J- Ellie you don't understand. I love you, sure do. I so much appreciate your help. I was being an asshole. I had too much alcohol. I was really drunk. I didn't kiss anyone. And most importantly I didn't mean what I said.
E- Sometimes alcohol makes you say the truth. In a way expose yourself. You literally hit my hand, Josh.
J- Does it hurt?
E- It did when you hit me. Now it doesn't.
Josh looked disappointed. He grabbed my hand.
E- What?
J- I just feel safer when I'm holding your hand.
I let him hold my hand. There were about five minutes of silence. It wasn't an awkward silence, it was a comfortable one. He was just staring at the ground while I was thinking about the situation.
J- You are right.
E- Huh?
J- I'm an asshole I don't deserve you...
E- Josh I-
J- You deserve someone better.
E- I-
J- Someone that will make you happy...
E- Josh what are you saying?
J- Let's just be friends.
E- But-
J- It's for the best.
He gently kissed my hand and walked away. I felt weak. I felt tears running down my cheek. What have I done? 
I ran into my room locking the door. Fuck I have to share this room with Anthony and Josh. Maybe I could stay with Addison. I decided to text her.

I started grabbing some random stuff. I then opened my suitcase to get some pajamas when I saw one of Josh's sweatshirts. I felt tears forming in my eyes, a tear rolled down my cheek as I started sobbing on Josh's sweatshirt. Someone walked in. Josh.
J- Hey I was just-
He looked at me.
J- Are you okay?
E- Here, take this.
I handed him his sweatshirt.
J- Where are you going?
E- Addison's room.
J- Why?
E- You think I want to stay here? Hell no.
J- Oh...
E- Is that all you got to say.
J- I guess.
I got up, grabbed my backpack. And walked up to Josh.
E- Congratulations...
J- What do you mean, I-
E- You've lost me forever.
I walked out of the room.

I walked in Addison's room and immediately broke down crying. 
Ad- Come here.
I cuddled up to Addison and cried until I fell asleep.

I woke up the next day from a knock on the door. I turned around to see that Addison wasn't there. I looked at the time. 9:34 AM. I slowly got up and opened the door as someone attacked me with the biggest hug.
E- AVANI!!!
Av- BEB!!!
E- What are you doing here?
Av- You think I would let you get through what happened alone? Bitch, no.
I hugged her again.
E- You are literally the best friend ever.
Av- Get ready. I got you some food. I'll be in the living room.
E- Thanks Vani.
I put my hair on a messy bun. I wore a black sweatshirt and some of Bryce's sports shorts.
I wiped away all my tears and headed downstairs to the living room.

I sat down next to Avani. I felt everyone stare at me.
B- Holly shit, El.
E- What?
B- Your eyes are red and you look like you've been crying.
E- Well. Maybe ask Josh. I think he knows.
I said as I gave him a fake smile. All the boys pulled Josh into a room. I then heard Bryce yelling so I immediately got up.
B- WHAT THE FUCK. YOU FUCKING BITCH.
I walked in on Bryce punching Josh.
E- BRYCE STOP.
He didn't stop.
E- BRYCE LOOK AT ME.
Bryce stopped to look at me.
E- Get up.
B- Hell no. He hurt you.
E- He didn't. We just made a simple decision. It was just a really hard one. Now get up and calm yourself down. 
Bryce got up and walked out slamming the door.
J- El can we-
E- No.
J- Please I-
E- We are just friends Josh.
I gave him a fake smile.
E- If we ever talk it's just going to be friends things.
I said as I walked back to the living room. I finished eating my breakfast.

I was in the pool with Jaden and Avani. Jaden and I have been really close lately. He is a great and caring friend! Josh then came and sat with us. I rolled my eyes.
J- What? You said it yourself you wanna be friends.
E- Okay sure.
We all just talked for a bit. Me and Josh made eye contact. I felt like crying every time I looked at him. I suddenly felt weak. Like I couldn't stand. I felt like I was going to fall.
E- Avani. Please get me some water.
Av- You okay?
E- Just get me some water.
She did as I said. I sat down on a chair. Once I calmed myself down I went to Addison's room.

I took a nap. I don't know what happened out there. Probably because of what's been happening the past days. Avani woke me up. She made me some lunch. I headed downstairs and started eating.
Av- Wanna go out later?
E- Yeah sure!
Av- How about 6 PM?
E- Of course!

--TIME SKIP TO 6 PM--
We went to the mall and got our nails done.
E- I really wanna get a tattoo.
Av- You are turned 18 in like two weeks.
E- Yeah. I'm really excited!!
We did some shopping and had fun. I got my mind off Josh.
I then got a text

E- They will visit us and we will visit them too.

We stayed out for about two more hours and then we left.
