"Junie," Jimin grabbed the little one's attention as he dropped a spoonful of cooked carrots onto the kid's plate. "How would you like Daddy coming to live with us?"

"Huh?"

"Me and Appa talked today and we thought it'd be nice if I moved in with you two," Jungkook smiled at his son, internally cheering.

"But what about your house Daddy? What about my toys over there?"

"We'd bring them here, baby. We'd have all your toys in your room."

"But I like my room at Daddy's house," Jun Hae pouted, poking a carrot hard enough to split it in half.

"Well, I don't have to sell my apartment," Jungkook shrugged, "We could go over whenever we needed or wanted to."

"I can keep my room?" Jun perked up a bit.

"Yes baby," Jimin smiled and ran his hand through the kid's hair, "You can keep your room. But...would you like having Daddy stay here with us all the time."

"He is here all the time."

"Yeah," Jimin giggled, "But I mean after he gets better too. Like...a forever sleepover."

"You mean...Daddy can stay here forever?!"

"Yes."

"Daddy! Are you?!"

"If you want me to, Buddy," Kook grinned.

"Yeah!"

"Alright," Jimin laughed, patting the table lightly, "Eat your dinner and then we'll all take our baths and then it's bed time."

----------------

Jun Hae had stolen one of Jungkook's shirts after his bath and he refused to wear pants because 'it's hotter than the blacktop, Appa'.

So Jimin let him go with just the shirt and a pair of underwear.

Jun rushed downstairs to sit with Jungkook, while Jimin took a quick shower then got everything ready to help Jungkook.

The younger adult found it quite painful to slouch over and put on his pants, so Jimin was having to help dress him as well.

It was a bit awkward at first, but then Jungkook reminded him that they've seen each other naked countless times.

That sparked Jimin's 'How could I forget' which got a reply of 'Don't know you seemed to enjoy it when it happened'. Jimin slapped the taller and rolled his eyes, but Jungkook's laugh made him smile.

"Appa, Daddy says his head hurts real bad and he needs some medicine."

Jimin glanced to the doorway and smiled, "Okay, baby. Go on to bed and I'll be in later to tuck you in."

"Appa?"

"Yeah?" Jimin smiled.

"Can we all sleep in your room again?"

Jimin paused as he pulled a bottle of pills from the shelf behind the mirror, staring at the label and assuring himself he had the right one, "I'll ask Daddy."

"I did. Daddy said he'd love to."

Jimin sighed and bent down to grab his wet towel, "Um...Baby, Appa has work to do tonight. I'm really sorry. Maybe tomorrow night."

"Oh...okay," Jun's smile fell and he left the doorway, moving towards Jimin's room.

Jimin swallowed the lump in his throat and closed the door to the cabinet. He laid his towel on the sink then left the bathroom in a hurry.

He went downstairs and quietly handed Jungkook the bottle of Tylenol and stood there.

"What's wrong?" Jungkook raised an eyebrow before tilting his head back dropping two pills in his mouth.

"Nothing, just," Jimin shrugged and looked to his fingers, "Jun wants us all to sleep together tonight. I don't...I don't know if I can handle that."

"What do you mean?"

"Jungkook, I wouldn't ask you to move in if I didn't want you here. I wouldn't let all the flirting slide if I didn't wanna hear it. But I don't know if I can handle this because all I can think about when you lay next to me is how we used to talk for hours before we fell asleep and I...I miss that."

Jungkook let the silence ring for a bit, then he pushed himself to stand up, which caused Jimin to launch into action and help him.

"Kookie, you're never gonna heal if you keep-"

"Jimin...did you ever hate me? At all, even for just a day?"

"No," the smaller let go of the other's arm and shook his head, "No, I could never hate you, but I was upset...and hurt."

"And I understand that," Jungkook nodded, "I'm glad you forgive me. It means a lot."

"Can we talk about this tomorrow? I only have a morning class, so I should be home by one, after work. Junie's waiting for you to shower."

"Yeah," Jungkook nodded, reaching up to push Jimin's hair back from his face.

The older blushed and it took a second for Jungkook to realize what he did.

"Sorry, Chim."

"It's okay," Jimin shrugged and glanced away before he exhaled and wrapped his arm around the younger's waist, "C'mon, you really need a shower."

"Hey! I'm doin' my best here! There's only so many things I can't do with a cast on."

"Yeah, yeah," Jimin giggled, "Excuses, excuses."

---------------

It was passed midnight, but Jimin was still awake. He had finished his work hours ago, before Jun Hae even had to go to sleep.

Now, he found himself standing in the doorway of his bedroom. He had originally came up to charge his phone, but his eyes caught on the two sleeping figures huddled together under the sheets and he couldn't move.

He let his mind wander. Staring at the two of them, cuddled together; he wanted to know if things could always be as nice as this.

If he could bring himself to admit that he still-

His phone ringing made him jolt and he quickly left the doorway to answer it.

"Hello?"

"Jimin," Jaebum's voice came through, a bit raw, almost as if he had a cold.

"What?"

"I'm sorry-"

"Yeah, well, you should've thought about that before you started drinking. You know how you get. And on top of it all, you were angry for some dumbass reason."

"Baby, I know. I should've controlled myself, but you just...we said some really nasty things and I wanted to forget it."

"Well, forget me, while you're at it. Jungkook's Junie's dad. You can't change that. He's here and he'd fight anyone who tried to take Junie away from him. That's how he is."

"Yeah...the kid can punch."

"Don't try to fix this," Jimin sighed, "You almost killed him."

"What?"

"You threw him down the stairs!"

Jimin gasped as an arm wrapped around his waist and his phone slipped from his hand.

"Jimin has to go to bed now. Please don't call back," Jungkook calmly said, then hung up.

"Kookie," the older grumbled.

"Come lay with us, Chim," Kook laid his chin on the shorter's shoulder.

"I can't-"

"You don't have to lay next to me. You don't even have to sleep. I'm guessing you can't sleep since it's three in the morning, but...just...c'mon."

"You should be resting," the older turned around, his hands lingering on Jung's waist.

"I can't. I've been sleeping in your bed for a week and it doesn't smell like you anymore."

"Kookie," Jimin looked away and blushed, "Don't be creepy." The taller let out a sleepy laugh and Jimin lightly pushed against his hips.
"Go lay down. I'm sure Jun's missing you."

"What about you?"

"I'm right downstairs-"

"Why can't you be right beside me?"

"Kookie," Jimin looked up, taking in the complete seriousness on the other's face.

"What's stopping you from sleeping next to us?"

"Alright, fine. I'll lay up here. Can I have my phone?"

Jungkook swiftly held the device out and Jimin hesitantly took it from his palm.

The taller turned and slowly went back to the bedroom, scratching his stomach like an old man would.

Jimin rolled his eyes and giggled, making Jung look over his shoulder and grin.

After a minute of playing with his phone's power button, he went into the bedroom and over to his nightstand.

Jun Hae had stolen his usual spot on the bed, and Jungkook was in the middle, curled around their baby.

Jimin crouched down and grabbed his charger from the floor, plugging it into his phone and quietly laying the device on his bedside table.

"Sorry, Junie moved," Kook grumbled.

"It's fine," Jimin shrugged. He glanced over and lightly smiled when he saw Jung's eyes open.

After fiddling with his phone, Jimin moved around the bed and laid down behind the younger adult.

He stared at the ceiling for a while, then Jungkook's back, then he was on his side and trying to stop himself from wrapping an arm around Jung's waist.

But in the end, he cuddled against the younger and closed his eyes.

After a little while, he smiled to himself. Kookie smells like an adult now.

Then the older pinched his own arm. What does that mean? What does an adult even smell like? How is that the only way he could think to describe it?

Granted, Jungkook didn't have half a bottle of Axe spray on him like he did in high school and he didn't smell like he used to before Jimin left Busan, it was like...heavier, muskier.

"Chim?"

"Y-Yeah?"

"Are you okay? My shirt's getting wet."

Jimin pulled back and lifted his hand to his cheeks; dry. However, he could see two dark, misshapen circles on Jung's shirt. "Sorry."

"It's fine," Kook moved a bit and Jimin pushed away from him.

The younger laid on his back and laid his arm out. He motioned for Jimin to move closer, but the older just bit his lip and stared at him.

Kook pushed his hand through Jimin's hair then smiled before he closed his eyes.

A minute passed and Jimin slowly let himself snuggle into Jungkook's side, head on the taller's shoulder and hand on his ribs. Jung's arm pulled him closer and his casted hand landed on Jimin's hip, but it wasn't in any way suggestive.

So Jimin let it stay and he didn't dare move an inch.

Jungkook's nose was buried in his hair and he had immediately fallen asleep, leaving Jimin to wonder on his own.

But he always came back to the same question.

Could it always be this way?

----------------

Jimin's alarm clock sounded; making Jimin jolt, Jun Hae whine and Jungkook tense up.

The hand on Jimin's waist, that had been there for three hours, gripped lightly, then the grip faded.

"Appa," Jun Hae whined after the tenth blare of the alarm clock.

"I got it," Jungkook whispered, his hand that was trapped under Jun reaching out and flicking the alarm off. "Alright buddy," Kook pat their son's back, "Go pick out your clothes for today. We'll make breakfast."

Slowly, Jun Hae kicked the covers off himself and lazily slid off the bed into the floor, his borrowed shirt riding up to his neck.

Jungkook laughed at him, and Jun smiled before he started to make his way out of the bedroom.

He was a bit wobbly as he walked, but his parents thought nothing of it until he fell into the dresser.

Jimin moved to get up, but Jun was on his feet again easily.

"I'm okay," the eight year old laughed.

"Be careful," Jungkook laughed.

Jimin turned to Jungkook, then laid back down, his chin on the taller's chest, "His laugh sounds like yours."

"You think so?" Jung smiled.

Jimin managed a small smile and he nodded, "I do."

"Did you get any sleep?"

"No."

"Mm," Jungkook stretched his arms over his head then sighed as he relaxed again, "I'll make you some coffee then."

The younger slipped away from Jimin, making it to the door before he paused at the sound of his name.

He turned back and found Jimin on the edge of the bed, arms reaching out to him and legs tucked under his body.

Jungkook quickly moved to hug the older when he realized Jimin was crying.

"Chim, it's gonna be alright. Break ups are never easy. You're okay."

"Kookie," Jimin curled his fingers into the other's shirt and buried his face against Kook's neck, "I love you. I'm so sorry. I love you."

For a second, Jungkook stopped breathing, and he had to admit his ribs didn't protest the stillness of his lungs.

But then he let out a happy sigh and held Jimin tighter- the way he used to, how he'd wanted to for so many years.

"Love you too," Jungkook smiled to himself, turning his head and pressing a kiss to the older's temple.

Jimin cried a little harder at that, bringing his right hand up to tangle his fingers in the younger's messy hair.

"Chim, this is great and all, and it feels so nice to hold you again, but Junie's got to be at school in like an hour and a half."

The older pulled in a long breath then let it out in a laugh, his body shaking in Jungkook's hold. Slowly the older pulled away and wiped his eyes, laughing and hiccuping.

Jungkook's hands fell to his waist and he managed to help Jimin calm down just by standing there.

Soon, the smaller male was only hiccuping and sniffing, tears gone and smile in place.

"I'm tired," Jimin pouted.

"Well...can you skip your class and work today?"

"No," Jimin bit his lip and shook his head, "I have a test and no more sick days."

"Sorry, about that."

"Don't apologize. Jaebum almost killed you."

Jungkook scoffed at that, "I'm a Jeon. Jeons never die in lame ways."

Jimin rolled his eyes and grabbed the taller's shirt, "You better not die at all."

Jungkook waited for a moment, then gripped Jimin's wrists lightly, "Too happy to die," he grinned.

"Lame," Jimin mumbled before he lifted up just a bit and pressed their lips together.

"Daddy!"

Jimin giggled into the kiss as Jungkook groaned and slowly broke away.

"I'm not done with you," Kook smirked then backed away, only narrowly avoiding hitting his broken wrist against the doorway as he left.

Jimin giggled at the way Jungkook shot finger guns at him then his eyes fell to the bedsheets.

He wouldn't mind it if things were always this way.
