"Hey Jungkook," Jae Wook waved to him as he passed through the kitchen.

"Hey Kiddo," Kook reached out to touch his hair, but the now sixteen year old kid pulled away.

Jimin laughed at the sight, making Jae roll his eyes.

"It's not funny. I worked hard to make this look good," Jae pointed to his face, then lightly smiled before leaving the older two at the dining table.

When the silence kicked in, Jungkook sighed, "Are you ever gonna tell him?" He grabbed Jimin's hand.

"He...I wanna wait until he's out of school."

"I don't," the younger said hardly, "I wanna know now if he'll hate me for the rest of my life."

"He won't hate you," Jimin shook his head, "He adores you."

"Maybe his feelings will change once he finds out I've been dating you for ten years right under his nose."

"Kookie, I," Ji ran a hand through his hair, "I love you and I want everyone in the world to know it, but...I-"

"Just because you tell Jae Wook that you are gay, does not mean he'll magically change preferences. You know it doesn't work that way."

"Yeah, I do, but I just...if he turns out to be gay then his mom won't want anything to do with him and I can't-"

Jungkook got up and stood next to his boyfriend, pulling Jimin's face to his stomach as the older started crying.

"Kookie."

"It's okay," Jung threaded his fingers through his love's hair, "We'll be okay."

"I'm sorry," Ji gripped the hem of the latter's shirt and tugged on it a bit.

Jungkook crouched down and started to comfortingly rub the other's thigh, "It's okay," he smiled.

Jimin slid into the floor and wrapped his arms around the other, muttering an 'I love you' before snuggling into Jung's arms.

"I love you too," Kook kissed his hair and gently rubbed his back.

---------------------

"Hey, dad," Jae Wook came down the hall and swung around the doorframe of Jimin's room.

"Yeah?" The short male smiled and continued to put away his freshly washed clothes.

"Kyun So's having a party tomorrow. Can I go?"

"Who and what's gonna be there?" Jimin crossed his arms.

"Um...few people...hopefully food."

Jimin smiled a little bit and walked up to his son, who was strangely taller than him now, "You know I only want what's best for you, right?"

"Yeah," Jae nodded.

"You can go, but only if you promise me, a triple swear pinky promise, that you won't do anything I don't condone."

Jae Wook sighed and leaned against the wall, "Really? Triple swear pinky promise...it's been seven years since we made that up."

"It still has it's meaning," Jimin held out his hand, his tiny pinky finger stuck out.

Jae looked at his dad for a second, a hint of annoyance growing in his eyes, but it softened when he sighed, "I promise," he wrapped his finger around his dad's.

"Thank you," Jimin smiled.

--------------------

"He's supposed to be back by now," Jimin paced the floor behind the couch, biting his nail.

Jungkook, who had come over after Jae left for his party, walked over to his boyfriend and grabbed him.

"He promised me that he'd be back by ten. He's three hours late, Jungkook!"

"I know," the younger pulled him into his chest, "It's frustrating, but you have to let him make his own mistakes. He'll never learn if you don't."

"But Kookie, I don't want him to get hurt."

Jungkook chuckled, his arms squeezing Jimin a bit tighter, "I don't either, but I trust Jae. You raised him after all."

"That doesn't make me feel better," Jimin muttered, his eyes falling closed at he let himself relax against Jungkook.

The sound of keys in the door lock made Jimin push away and move to stand in front of the entrance.

Jungkook sighed and went to sit on the couch.

"Where were you?" Jimin grabbed Jae and pulled him closer, checking him for scratches, hickies, or anything of that nature.

"I had to take Bada home," Jae giggled when Jimin started pushing his face from side to side.

"Why? How long did you stay?"

"She was wasted and I didn't even go inside. I walked her up to the door and made sure she got inside then left."

"Are you drunk?"

"Does he sound drunk?" Jungkook asked from the living room.

"Jungkook's here?" Jae furrowed his brow and his dad stepped to the side.

"Go to bed."

"But I wanna talk to-"

"It's late. Go to bed."

Jae sighed and lightly hugged his father before stepping into their house.

Jungkook stood up once Jae Wook's bedroom door shut upstairs. He calmly walked over to the door, put on his jacket, kissed Jimin's cheek and slipped his shoes on.

"You aren't staying?" The older quietly asked.

"Seems like you need to be alone," the younger reached for the door handle.

"But I don't wanna be," Ji pouted.

Jungkook turned back, moving towards the shorter and gripping his arms, "I don't wanna leave either, but if I don't it won't be good for us."

"What do you mean?"

"He did everything right, Jimin. He kept his triple swear and you still," the younger held his hand out towards the stairs, "So what he stayed out passed ten; Jae didn't change within those three hours. He's still our little angel regardless."

Jimin looked down for a couple seconds then smiled, "Our?"

Jungkook swallowed, lightly blushing, then dropped his arms to his sides, "Yeah."

"Please stay with me."

"Jimin-"

"I don't wanna argue about this," Jimin shook his head, "I just...I want you to stay with me."

"I can't," Jungkook pressed a small kiss to Jimin's forehead, "Night. I love you."

"Love you more," Jimin looked up in just enough time to see Jungkook wave his goodbye.

The older sighed and sunk down to the floor, running his hands down his face and to the back of his neck.

----------------------

"Dad. Dad!," Jae Wook snapped his fingers in front of Jimin's face.

The smaller's eyes fluttered open and he squinted at the unwanted light.

"You okay?" Jae Wook held his hand out, offering to help his father off the floor.

"Yeah just," Jimin accepted the help, slowly rising to his feet, "fell asleep after Jungkook left."

"Why in the floor?" Jae lightly laughed.

"I sat down for a second. Guess I tired myself out while I was worrying over you," he crossed his arms.

"Sorry. I know I broke our promise," Jae shrugged, not having much to say on the topic. He didn't feel guilty or anything, not even a little annoyed that his dad scolded him.

"I don't know where you got all this passiveness from. Sure as hell wasn't me or your mom."

"Definitely not her," Jae agreed.

Jimin thumped the back of his son's head and sighed, "She's your mother, be respectful."

"Okay," Jae drawled out, rubbing his head as Jimin moved towards the kitchen to start breakfast.

"Hey, Dad," Jae called to him right before he disappeared into the other room, "I love you."

Jimin smiled to him and nodded, "Love you too, Wookie."

---------------------

Jungkook hadn't come around for a week. However, the younger couldn't keep himself from texting his boyfriend, no matter how upset he was trying to be.

The two texted non-stop almost. They took breaks for work, but other than that the couple had their phones at all times.

Jae found it sort of annoying how his dad's phone had more activity than his own, but he also knew it was Jungkook. Jungkook had been around since before he could remember and he admired him so much that he couldn't be mad at him.

Although, he hadn't seen him since that night he came in from his party, even then he didn't get to speak with him.

Jimin was sat in the middle of his bed, legs crossed like a child and phone in hand as he tapped away at the keyboard.

Jae came in since the door was open and took a seat in front of him.

Jimin looked up and smiled, "What's up?"

"Is everything alright with Jungkook?"

Jimin's brow furrowed and he gulped, "W-What do you...mean?"

"Well, he's been gone for a while, I just...is he working?"

"Yeah, normal hours, I guess. Why? Do you miss him?" He teased.

"A little," Jae shrugged, looking down to his lap.

Jimin sighed, "He's fine, he just...is upset with me because of the way I acted when you came home from your party."

"Oh," Jae Wook looked up and stared at him for a minute, "Dad, how'd you meet him, again?"

"Through you. You used to take drawings down to the parlor after-"

"After school," Jae nodded, a smile stretched across his face, "I remember now."

Jimin ruffled his son's hair and smiled before looking down to Jungkook's text.

"What exactly is your guys' relationship?"

Ji froze and his brain went into overdrive, "Relationship?"

"Yeah like...he's here a lot. Most of the time when I'm gone and you...seem less happy when he's gone."

Jimin turned off his phone and set it aside, letting out a deep breath before he spoke, "Are you sure you want that answer?"

"Yeah, it's...just a silly question."

Jimin looked at his hands before he went back to the task at hand, "Wookie...when your mom and I split up...it wasn't just because we were fighting. You know how religious your mom is...and she...I told her that I..."

"What? You don't believe in God or something?"

"No, I...I do believe in God, just...I told your mother that I was...I am...homosexual."

The split second of silence that it took Jae Wook to process that had Jimin scared.

"Wookie?"

"You're...in other words, you're gay?"

Jimin nodded, biting his lip and hoping for the best.

"Okay, but what does that have to do with-," Jae realized as he started asking how Jungkook tied in with them, with his family and his life, "You're dating..."

Jimin nodded, fingers crossed in hope and heart ready to break if Jae got angry.

"Why didn't you tell me?" His son calmly asked.

"I," Ji sighed, "I don't know, Wookie. Stupid reasons. I mostly just didn't want you to leave me here by myself and go live with your mom."

"Dad, be real. Mom doesn't let me drink coke, I'm not gonna live with her."

Jimin laughed at that and reached out, flicking his son's nose, "She does that for your health. She cares about you."

"I know," Jae nodded, "So...your boyfriend?"

"What about him?" Jimin shrugged.

"He's still texting you. Make him come back so I'm not so jealous of your phone ringing all the time."

Jimin smiled to his son as he stood up and left. "Appa loves you Wookie!"

"Yeah, yeah," Jae waved his hand in the air, "Love you too, Dad."

When Jae Wook was back in his room, Jimin picked up his phone and called Jungkook.

The younger picked up immediately. "Are you okay? You just disappeared on me."

"I'm fine I was...talking with Wookie about you...about...us," Jimin bit his lip.

"Us? You mean...you told him?" Jungkook sounded so excited.

"Well, yeah. He asked what was going on with you. He misses you."

"I miss you guys too."

Jimin pressed his lips together, trying to come up with a decent excuse to see the younger, "Have you eat yet?"

"Uh..."

"Jungkook," Jimin sighed, "When was the last time you ate?"

"The morning I came home from your place."

"What'd you eat?"

"A sandwich," he sounded guilty.

Jimin shook his head and closed his eyes, "Let's go out tonight. All three of us. We'll eat until we puke then go somewhere else and eat while they clean up the other place."

Jungkook laughed at that and quietly exhaled, "I'd like that. Can I come pick you guys up?"

"Of course," Jimin smiled.

"How long do I have to wait?"

"Just about thirty minutes. Enough for me and Jae to get ready."

"Can I hold your hand in the car?"

"Jungkook, you can do whatever you want. You can show up a little early and I'd still kiss you."

"I guess I'll be early then."

-------------------

Jae Wook was still in the shower when Jimin opened the door to let Jungkook in.

The younger was calm at first, stepping inside the apartment and breathing out a 'Hi'.

"Hey," Jimin smiled a little, trying not to show how bad he wanted Jungkook to hold him.

After a short pause, Jungkook reached out and pulled Jimin into his chest, "I'm sorry."

"Don't apologize," Jimin hugged the younger back, "Let's just, move pass it."

"I missed you," Kook bit his own thumb, his hand gripping Jimin's shoulder tightly.

"We missed you too," Jimin giggled, snuggling against the taller male.

Footsteps on the stairs behind the older male made the two of them part slightly and turn to look at Jae Wook.

"Hey Jungkook," Jae walked up and hugged his role model.

"Hey Wook," Kook hugged the teen back, suddenly remembering the first time they met for some reason.

Jae pulled back and studied the two of them, a smile appearing on his lips, "I don't know how I missed it, honestly."

Kook let out a breathy laugh and Jimin just pouted.

"Seriously, Appa, you've been dating him for...how long?"

Jimin mumbled something, but Jae didn't understand so his eyes traveled to Jungkook.

The younger adult put his arm around Jimin's waist and he pulled him close as he smiled, "Ten years."

Jae's jaw dropped and Jimin blushed, pulling his sleeves over his fingers.
"Appa! How?! That's so cruel to Jungkook, how could you?!"

"Thank you," Jungkook chuckled out, reaching up with his free hand to fix the part in Jimin's hair.

"It was cruel to myself too! He's not the only victim here," Jimin crossed his arms over his chest, "I wanted to tell you, but I'm a big baby."

"Ten years," Jae sighed and covered his mouth, "That's actually impressive."

"Let's just go eat," Jimin whined, slipping out of Jungkook's arms and moving to get his shoes on.

Jae smiled to Jungkook as he passed, the older ruffling his pupil's hair.

--------------------------

"So, who's what in your relationship?" Jae broke the silence of the car ride.

Jimin gulped and looked to Jungkook, who was smirking, "Jae...that's my business."

"So Jungkook is the topper," the teen stated.

Jimin whined and looked out the window, "That's not what I said."

"That pout just told me everything I need to know," Jae laughed.

"Face it, Jimin," Jungkook glanced at the smaller male and smiled, "your son's smart."

"Correction," the teen held up his hand, "You're like...basically my second dad, so...you should've said our."

"Jae I will pay you mad money, like, big bucks, to shut up right now," Jimin laughed.

"How much we talking?" Jaewook crossed his arms.

Jimin sighed and ran a hand through his hair, "I will...pay for your next tank of gas."

"Lips sealed," the kid smirked and settled back in his seat.

Jungkook lightly chuckled, glancing at Jae in the mirror as he put his earbuds in.

"Having fun yet?" Jimin reached over and jabbed Kook's side.

The younger flinched a bit, but recovered quickly, "Yeah, I am. Lots."

"I'm glad you're not mad at me," Jimin laid his empty hand over the back of Jung's, efficiently sandwiching the younger's appendage between his palms.

"I can't be mad at you. I can be upset, but that never lasts long anyway," he shrugged, "Day three away from you two and I was so~ bored."

Jimin giggled and looked out to the road, "Well, you don't have to be away from us anymore."

Jungkook softly smiled then looked to the other, nodding as he thought to himself.

"You don't get what I mean do you?"

"No more fighting-"

"No, well....yeah, but...I meant that, if you wanted to, we could all...move into one apartment...be a family."

"Mm," the younger pursed his lips, "Don't think Jae would appreciate all that noise."

"That part he'd have to get over," Jimin shifted in his seat.

"Baby, he'd be scarred. You're loud."

"And it's your fault," the shorter retorted, "Therefore, you'd be the one to blame."

Jungkook let out a small laugh and let go of Jimin's hand in order to swipe the hair out his eyes.

The older reached over and grabbed his hand again as soon as he could, letting a small smile spread across his lips.

Kook looked back at Jae Wook again and grinned when he saw the teen making a fake gagging face.

"You're gonna be a lot more handsy now that he knows, aren't you?"

"Mhm," Jimin smirked, "Prepare your ass, Kook. I don't have anymore secrets."

"Aish hyung."
