"Jungkook, you can't just run away from me every time I ask you something!"

"What you're asking is irrelevant, why should I answer?"

Jimin ran his hands down his face then back up. "Irrelevant?! I asked if you were cheating on me!"

"I'm not!" The younger turned around and snapped.

Jungkook was always scary when he got this way, which was recently becoming more frequent. Jimin had to take a few steps back to feel safe, and that's what really made Jungkook upset.

"Baby-"

"I'm going home," Jimin mumbled, shoving his hands in his pockets, "Please come home when you're ready to talk to me again."

"Jimin," Jungkook reached out, but the older dodged him and turned around, walking away from him just as quickly as he had followed Jungkook outside.

The younger clenched his jaw and turned back in the direction he was going.

He only took a few steps when someone crashed into him.

It was a girl, short with orange hair. It reminded Jungkook of Jimin's hair from a while back.

"Ji Myun!" Another female's voice caught his attention and he looked up.

This girl was taller, which Jungkook credited to the heeled boots she was wearing. Her hair was longer than the shorter girl's and, in all honesty, her style reminded Jungkook of himself.

The orange haired girl took a couple steps back from Jungkook, rushing into the other girl's arms.

"Apologize to him," the black haired girl urged.

"Ah!" Ji Myun turned back to Jungkook and bowed, "I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention."

"It's alright," Jungkook quietly responded, blown away by Ji Myun's appearance.

Jiminie hyung in girl form, he thought.

"Sorry about my girlfriend. She got excited," the other smiled at Jungkook.

"No, it's fine. No harm done," the male reassured them.

"Jung Il," the currently shorter girl placed her hand on the other's shoulder, "We should hurry, my feet hurt." With that, she reached down and took off her shoes.

Jungkook chuckled at that and the two looked at him with quirked eyebrows.

"Ah, I'm sorry, you two just...remind me of me and...my boyfriend, is all."

"Oh, really?!" Ji Myun giggled, "What's his name?"

"Jimin," the male nodded and smiled, "I'm Jungkook."

"Woah," Ji Myun smiled and looked to Jung Il, "That's so cool! Our names are so similar!"

"Yeah, I noticed," Jungkook chuckled, then his smile faded.

"Aw, what's wrong, Jungkook-ssi?"

"Ah," the male shook his head, "You said you had to hurry somewhere, I shouldn't keep you."

"Then come with us!" Ji Myun exclaimed, shoving her shoes into Jung Il's hands, "We were just going for coffee."

Jungkook looked to the black haired girl, who was only smiling at her girlfriend.

"Oh, say it's okay Junggie!" Ji Myun suddenly turned to the other girl and pleaded.

"Yeah, it's okay."

So Jungkook sat across a booth table from the couple. For a while, they just talked about simple things. Then Ji Myun addressed why Jungkook had looked so sad and he dived into the story of how he and Jimin had been fighting for the last couple months ever since Jungkook lost his job at a small corner store.

Jimin had kept them afloat with his office job, so they didn't have money troubles, but they still endlessly argued.

"Sounds like the two of you need to talk," Jung Il said nonchalantly.

"Junggie," the older girl slapped the other's arm.

"I'm not wrong," the black haired girl stressed, "It's a simple miscommunication problem. There's something you haven't told him I assume?"

Jungkook dropped his head and nodded after a bit, "Yeah."

"You shouldn't keep secrets from people you love, Jungkook-ssi. Especially people you trust," Jung Il grabbed Ji Myun's hand.

The orange haired girl pouted and leaned over to kiss Jung Il's cheek, "Junggie's going to school to be a therapist. Sorry for the free analysis."

"No, it's...it's fine...a wake up call, actually. Thank you," Jungkook slid out of the booth and handed them enough money to cover his coffee, "I have to go, though. Thanks again."

"No problem. I hope everything works out," Jungil waved while Jimyun gave him a hwaiting fist.

He smiled at them, then made his way out of the small cafe.

--------------

Jimin sniffled and repositioned his arms around his knees.

This corner of the couch had been his comfort for the passed few months and he found himself here again.

He didn't know what was going on, but the more Jungkook refused to talk to him, the more his brain assumed the worst.

Jungkook's not happy with you anymore, he'd tell himself, Jungkook's with someone else. He loves someone else. They're probably better than you.

When the front door opened across the room, Jimin shuffled his feet against the couch cushion.

Jungkook stepped in, keys in one hand and a giant bundle of flowers in the other. "Baby," he dropped his keys, kept his shoes on and rushed to sit in the floor in front of his boyfriend.

"Kookie," the older parted his knees and dropped his feet to the floor, allowing Jungkook to rest his arms on his thighs, just like he always used to do.

"I'm so sorry, Jimin," Jungkook handed him the flowers, "I...I'm sorry."

The older set the flowers aside and scooted to the edge of the sofa cushion. He pulled Jungkook's head to his stomach and stroked his hair as he sniffled again, "Just talk to me. Please. What's wrong? What changed? Am I doing something wrong or did I forget something-"

"It's not you, baby," Jungkook's arms wrapped around the other's waist as best they could, "It's me and I just...Jimin, I'm scared."

"What?" The older dropped his left hand to Kook's back, "Why, baby? What's...why?"

"Because...I...I don't have a spot in society anymore. I don't have a job and no one wants to hire a gay guy, especially one who only went to college to produce music-"

"Then why don't you apply for a job where you know what you're doing?"

"Because then I'd be spending a lot of time away from you," Jungkook leaned his head back and looked up at the older, "And I don't want that."

Jimin placed his palms on the other's cheeks and smiled back, "But you would enjoy being a producer?"

"I'd hope so," the taller nodded.

"Then go for it. Don't be scared. I'm sure they'd love your mixtape you made me for our anniversary."

The younger blushed immediately then shook his head, "Too sentimental. I can't let anyone else have your songs."

Jimin giggled and the other smiled, "Then I suggest we get to work on a whole new set of tracks and then I can go with you to the company building in the center of the city."

"We?" Jungkook repeated, reaching up to hold Jimin's right hand.

"Yes," the silver haired male nodded, "We. You can make some new demos and I can make you coffee and sit in your lap."

The younger laughed as he nodded, his eyes falling to the photograph on their end table. He remembered the day they took it, the selfie of the two of them Jimin had printed off on picture paper from his phone.

"I'd like that hyung," Jungkook nodded, "So does this mean you forgive me?"

"Love you, Kookie," Jimin leaned down and pressed a small kiss to the other's lips.

"Love you too," Kook grinned, "Now, we should really address this outfit, because you look amazing."

Jimin rolled his eyes, "Excuse me for opting out on pants when I was crying."

"I wouldn't mind you without pants for the rest of your life," Kook raised his eye brow.

"Really," Jimin chuckled out, "Why do I believe that so easily?"

"Hey!" Kook pushed himself up to his knees and let his hands rest on the cushions beside Jimin's thighs, "I'm not that big of a perv."

"Liar," Jimin whispered, leaning in and giggling as he connected their lips again, only this time he made sure not to let Jungkook slip away.
