"Jungkookie!" Jimin bounded down the hallway and into the kitchen, where I stood making a sandwich.

"Yes hyung?" I asked without turning to look at him.

"Happy birthday," he was suddenly standing beside me and leaning on the counter.

"It's not my birthday yet, hyung," I slightly smiled and shook my head.

"Yes it is," he held his phone in front of my face, "As of three minutes ago."

"Oh, well, thanks then."

"C'mon, Kookie!" He put his phone away as he pouted, "Was I the first to tell you or not?"

"Yeah, all the other hyungs are asleep," I grabbed the mustard bottle and squeezed a bit out on my sandwich.

"Yay!" He threw his arms up over his head in celebration and I couldn't help staring at him.

He must've noticed, because after a silent pause, he made a little whining noise and put his arms down.

I laughed at that. He was adorable when he didn't want to be and terrible at aegyo when he tried.

"Yah, don't laugh at me! I'm your hyung," he crossed his arms over his chest.

I rolled my eyes and pulled him closer, "Did you even pay attention to what I said?"

"Yeah, but-"

"If the hyungs are asleep, what am I to you?"

"My Kookie," he slightly smiled and glanced up at me from his feet, "my boyfriend."

"I wasn't laughing at you," I kissed his forehead, "I was laughing at your adorable-ness."

"I'm not adorable," he grumbled, "I'm a guy. I'm sexy, I'd even settle for hot, but-"

"Adorable doesn't describe you," I finished for him and ran my fingers through his hair, "I know, you say that every night."

"Then stop calling me that," he leaned into my chest and I wrapped my arms around him.

"I will never stop complimenting my Jiminie," I lifted him off the floor a bit and hugged him tighter.

"Hey, it's your birthday here; put me down," he cutely demanded.

I did as he asked, fixing his hair once I sat him down.

"Close your eyes," he instructed.

"Why?" I crossed my arms over my chest, remembering my eighteenth birthday where we spent an hour in the bathroom together.

"It's nothing bad, just a surprise," he smiled brightly.

I slowly sighed, fixed my bangs, then reluctantly closed my eyes.

I heard his footsteps move around the kitchen and drawers open and close. I heard the scrape of matches as he tried to light one, then he started singing quietly.

"Happy Birthday to you~," his hand grabbed mine and I opened my eyes, looking down to our intertwined fingers.

"Happy Birthday to you~. Happy birthday dear Jungkook, happy birthday to you," he held out a small plate with a single chocolate cupcake on it.

I stared at the cupcake for a little bit then looked to him, "Thanks Jimin."

"No problem," he smiled and squeezed my hand a bit, "Make a wish."

I thought about it for about a minute. I had everything I needed...everything I wanted even.

All our members were healthy at the moment, Jimin and I had been successful with our experimental relationship, the ARMYS seemed to enjoy our latest comeback; what more could I ask for?

Suddenly, something came to me.

I leaned forward and blew out the solitary candle on the cupcake, then looked up at Jimin with a smile.

"What'd you wish for?" He asked and sat the plate down so he could peel the wrapper off my treat.

I stepped up behind him and wrapped my arms around his waist, "I wished that you'd let me cuddle with you tonight. Since it's my birthday and all."

He chuckled and held the cupcake over his shoulder so I could take a bite, "Maybe your wish will come true."

"Maybe?" I pouted before I ate a big bite.

He nodded and had a bit of the pastry as well, "Depends on how nice you are to me before I go to bed."

"What? That's not fair!" I nuzzled his hair, "You know I like to joke around with you."

"Oh well," he shrugged, sitting what was left of my birthday cake back on the plate.

"Hyung," I whined as he slipped away from me, looking over his shoulder with a lustful look in his eyes.

"I'm sleepy, Kookie," he said as he disappeared down the hall.

I fought with myself for a second, then grabbed my sandwich and put it in the fridge before I followed him.

I'd follow him anywhere, no matter what. I think, for the first time in my life, I'd fallen in love with someone.
