The next few days were awkward between Jimin and his younger friend. But, only if they were in public.

When Jungkook came over to Jimin's, when they were alone, they cuddled. They didn't call it that, though. They called it 'Jimin layin' all over Jungkookie'.

That was the case this fine Tuesday evening. Jimin's mom hadn't got back before he got home, Jungkook following him like a puppy.

The two of them spent an hour doing homework, goofing around in the process of course. Then, a slightly annoyed Jimin- because of his math- wanted to go to sleep.

Jungkook protested it, saying he wanted 'Jimin layin' all over Jungkookie' time, but the older made a compromise with him.

So, the younger sat watching cartoons with Jimin's head in is lap as the rest of his body stretched across the couch.

The older was totally asleep, not moving an inch even though the tv was turned up to forty.

Jungkook had ahold of Jimin's hand, their fingers linked together, when Jimin's mom came in. Kook pulled his jacket over his lap and hid their hands, smiling to her as she sighed and dropped her things in the floor.

"Never get an office job," she lightly laughed and kicked off her heels.

"A promise I can finally keep," Jung joked, nervously biting his lips afterwards.

"Jimin's such a bad host," she rolled her eyes lovingly at her son, "Sorry."

"It's fine. School just wore him out today."

"Yeah he did have PE," she agreed, moving about and cleaning up all their candy wrappers, chip bags, and soda cans, "Have you had a proper dinner yet?"

"Uh...not...no," he smiled.

She giggled and made her way towards the kitchen, "I'll get started then."

Jimin's grip on Jung's hand tightened and the younger looked down to see Jimin's eyes open, staring at him.

"G'd'afternoon," Jungkook smiled to him.

"She's so noisy," Jimin mumbled, sitting up and leaning against the younger.

"You slept through all these explosions and your mom wakes you up when she comes home?" Kook laughed at that, leaning in to peck Jimin's cheek.

The older paused, a blush creeping on to his cheeks. "She's noisy," he repeated.

The younger blushed as well, reaching over to grab Jimin's hand once again, "Sorry. That was probably too fast."

"No, it...it's fine. It felt...nice," Jimin glanced at the younger, seeing all the hope drain from his eyes.

Jungkook stood, pulling his jacket over his shoulders.

Jimin sat on his knees, reaching out and taking hold of the other's arm, "You aren't staying for dinner?"

"No, I...I'm not hungry."

"Don't lie to me," Jimin pouted, tugging on Kook's arm, "Please stay. You didn't eat all day yesterday and you only had lunch today."

"Jimin..."

"It's fine, really," the older stood up and pressed himself against the younger, "I liked it, Jungkook. I really did, it's just....no one's ever been so gentle before and it...was soft and I...maybe I liked it too much."

"It was just a small kiss...you make it sound like like we slept together or something," the younger reached up ad ran his fingers through Jimin's hair.

The older blushed and pouted, nevertheless enjoying the attention.

"And I can't always stay for dinner. It's asking too much-"

"Not if you're starving!" Jimin shouted over the tv, "I want you to eat with me and my mom and be fat and happy. There's nothing wrong with accepting help."

Jungkook wrapped his arms around the smaller male and pulled him as close as he possibly could.

Jimin hit his chest a few times, but stopped once he felt the younger's ribs, "Kookie, I don't want you to die! I like you and I want you around for the rest of my life."

"I'm not gonna die, hyung," Kook whispered, pressing a small kiss to the top of Jimin's head.

"Stay here," Jimin sniffled, "Stay with me. We can share a room and clothes and games and whatever else. I don't care as long as you're here."

"I can't live with you, hyung."

"Yes you can!"

"I can't," Jungkook closed his eyes and laid his cheek against Jimin's head as the smaller hugged him back, "I can't ask you to be any nicer to me than you are now."

"You don't have to ask," Jimin's voice was muffled now, "I'd do anything for you and you know that."

"I do," Kook smiled, "And I can't ask any more of you. It wouldn't be fair."

"Well, I'm ordering you to stay for dinner. You can't go anywhere unless I tell you that it's okay."

"Deal not accepted," the younger pulled away and crossed his arms in an x.

"What? Why?!"

"Because if I said yes, I'd never get to go anywhere ever again," Jung smiled, reaching out to lightly tap the shorter's nose, "But I'll stay and eat since you're so worried."

Jimin smiled and threw himself at the taller, who caught him. He'd always catch Jimin.

******

"Thanks for the meal," Jungkook smiled at Jimin's mom.

"No problem dear," she smiled back, setting a glass in front of him before filling it with lemonade, "It's always nice to have people over."

"I can see where Jimin gets his friendliness from," Kook laughed a bit.

She nodded and sat the pitcher down before running her fingers through Jimin's hair, "I always made sure to point out the good in everyone when he was a kid. Now, he looks for that first. He doesn't see the evil in this world."

"Mom," Jimin whined, looking up and giving her a look.

She sighed and dropped her hands to her sides, "I know, too protective. I just love you."

Normally, Jimin would complain that she said that in front of someone, but the expressionless face Jungkook wore made him appreciate the words.

Jimin's mom moved to sit down as well and she dug in. Jungkook watched her, smiling at how talkative she was.

Jimin answered all her questions, which were mostly about school and then she looked to Jungkook.

"What about you dear? How was your day?"

The youngest looked to Jimin, who gave him the clear to speak freely, "Ah, I...slept through most of my lessons honestly."

"Oh, well that's not good. Try to pay attention tomorrow."

"Kookie's smart momma. He doesn't need to pay attention. Sometimes I wonder why you even bother going to school." Jimin knew why; free food, shelter when it rained, no one yelling at him, a peaceful atmosphere, people he could depend on; yet he still said this.

"I have to," Kook shrugged, "And I have nothing better to do."

"You have a skateboard and guitar. We'll use my phone and record a video of you doing both," Jimin laughed, reaching up for his glass.

Jungkook paid extra close attention to Jimin's fingers for some reason and he had to gulp. The thoughts in his mind were no longer pure and innocent.

"Kookie? You alright?" Jimin raised his eyebrow as he took a drink.

Jung licked his lips and nodded, eyes dropping to his food as he looked down and blushed, "Fine, just thinking."

"Mm," the older boy gave an acknowledging hum, setting his cup down, "Happy thoughts I hope."

"Yeah," Kook started poking his noodles.

******

"What happened? Did I say something?" Jimin ran his fingers through Jung's hair.

They were alone in the older's room now, Jimin's mom downstairs on the computer.

"No, I," Kook draped his arm over Jimin's hip, "I was thinking about something. I froze, but it's okay."

"What were you thinking about?" Jimin furrowed his brow, pouting as he snuggled closer to the taller.

"You," Kook muttered, resting his chin atop Jimin's head.

"So it was something I did?" Jimin started drawing pictures on Jung's shirt with his index finger.

"Yeah."

"Well, what did I do?"

"You," Jungkook inhaled sharply and huffed that breath out, "You picked up your cup. Your hands are cute."

Jimin paused then pulled his hands back to himself, "You acted like that and only thought my hands were cute?"

"Well...not exactly."

"What more to it is there?"

"Jimin, I told you the day I confessed to you, that you were attractive. That means all of you."

"You...in front of my mom!" Jimin tilted his head back only to see the deep blush on the other's cheeks, "Yah, you have to be careful. If she finds out, you can't come back."

"I know," Jung gave him a small smile and pat his back, "Sometimes I can't help it though. You're sexy when you don't try to be."

"Y-Yah! Be respectful! Don't call me that so suddenly!"

"Call you what?" Jung giggled.

"S-Sexy, you nimrod," Jimin pouted.

"But hyung, you are sexy," the younger smirked.

"Shut up!" The shorter rolled to his other side and grabbed his stuffed bear.

"Jiminie hyung!" Kook cooed and moved closer, throwing his arm over the small figure and pressing himself to Jimin's back.

"Kookie!" Jimin whined, reaching back to hit Jungkook's thigh.

"Relax. She's preoccupied and it's too late in the day for me to start anything. You still have to get up tomorrow and take your diving test."

"Oh shoot!" Jimin relaxed, "I haven't studied in like three days! I'm so gonna fail."

"Nah, just do your best hyung," Kook kissed the latter's arm.

"I will."

******

"I was so close to failing!" Jimin jumped up and down in front of Jungkook.

"Then why are you so happy?" Kook chuckled.

"Duh! I almost failed, but I didn't!" Jimin gripped the younger's hand and squealed, "I can drive now, Kookie! It's so cool!"

"Yeah, but only if your mom is with you."

"Ah-ah-ah. Jin hyung has his license and is turning twenty-one this year."

"Oh, so your mom and your second mom," Jung smirked, pulling Jimin into his side as they started walking towards Jimin's music class.

"Yeah, but Jin hyung is a cool mom," Jimin shrugged, "somehow."

"On occasion," the younger slid his hand into the back pocket of Jimin's pants, "Hyung, why do you wear your full uniform?"

"Why don't you?" The smaller retorted.

"Uh, cause it's uncomfortable and makes me look ugly," Jung answered as if Jimin should already know.

"You can't look ugly. Bunnies are always cute," Jimin smiled and reached up to tap the younger's nose, "Hey, you aren't sniffling as much today."

"Yeah, I think that cold medicine kinda helps."

"Cold medicine?"

The younger sighed and looked forward, "Don't get mad...but I kinda took some from the drug store."

"Kookie," Jimin stopped their walking and made Jungkook face him, "I told you to stop stealing."

"But it helps me."

"It's still wrong to steal," Jimin smoothed out Jung's shirt, "Just tell me when you run out and I'll get you some more."

"Jimin-"

"I know you don't want me to, but I will. If you need something, anything at all, just tell me and I'll see what I can do."

Jungkook liked that better than Jimin's claims of definite help no matter what, so he nodded, "Thanks hyung."

Jimin smiled then pulled him into a hug, "I like you Jungkook, so I'll do whatever it takes to help you."

"I know," the younger's arms snaked around Jimin's waist, hands pausing on Park's hips for a few seconds.

They stayed this way for a minute or two. Jungkook was content listening to the other's even breaths that lulled him towards sleep. Jimin stared at the wall behind the younger, using all of his control to keep himself from crying.

"Hyung," Kook broke the silence, his hands moving back to Jimin's hips, "Come with me real quick."

"Kookie, we have two minutes to get to class," Jimin pouted, pulling back and wiping at his eyes.

"You're crying," Jung's expression changed to one of worry as he cupped the smaller's cheeks, "Come with me, just for a little bit."

"Kook-"

Before Jimin could protest any more, the taller grabbed his wrist and rushed towards the nearest bathroom.

Jimin couldn't find it in himself to complain, not with his only thoughts being about Jungkook and his happiness.

When they reached the restroom, the younger pulled Jimin into the stall and closed the door.

"Jungkook," Jimin gripped the other's shirt collar as he was pushed against the door.

"I'm sorry. I didn't want to let you go to class and only remember the bad stuff."

"What?"

Jungkook took a deep breath and licked his lips before he leaned forward.

Jimin understood soon enough and he closed his eyes, his grip tightening on Jung's shirt.

When their lips finally met, Jungkook took a step forward, roughly grabbing the older's hips. This caused Jimin to whimper and Jungkook let out a low hum.

Kook quickly realized that Jimin had no knowledge of kissing, so he pulled away and smiled, "You're trying too hard."

"I'm sorry," the older blushed.

"It's fine, just relax."

"How can I relax? You just stole my first kiss."

"Did I really steal it?"

Jimin blushed even more, acknowledging how he at least tried to kiss back, "You're still my first kiss."

Jungkook chuckled at that and his smile widened, "I'm proud of that."

The younger's hands started massaging the other's sides, causing Jimin to lean his head against the door and sigh, "That feels nice."

"You had an extra dance class this week didn't you?" Kook asked and Jimin nodded, "No wonder it hurts. Your teacher is ruthless."

"She sees my potential. She said if I liked dance enough I could probably keep doing it through college."

Jungkook's mind, his teenage mind, just had to make something so innocent become dirty. He kept it to himself though, only pressing his lips together.

"You should go for singing and writing," Jimin started drawing little circles on Kook's chest.

The younger became distracted by the contact between them, becoming super aware of just how close his thumbs were to Jimin's groin.

"I really think you could do anything," Jimin looked up, smile falling as he saw the younger's expression, "Kookie, what's wrong?"

Jungkook leaned down, his forehead resting against the older male's, "Hyung...I...I want you so bad."

"Wh-What?" Jimin's eyes widened.

"I don't remember anything I've wanted more than you, right now."

"Jungkook, not here," Jimin pushed against him a bit.

"I know, just...I want it."

Jimin stopped pushing and let the atmosphere calm down for a minute or two.

After he thought it over, Jimin wrapped his arms around the younger, "Thank you."

"For what?" Kook could only whisper at the moment. He was afraid to break the quietness around them.

"Anyone else would've forced me. So thank you."

Jungkook lifted his head, eyes hard and brow furrowed, "Did someone else force you?"

"No, they tried, but...someone else saved me. And...that's why I'm afraid of mall bathrooms."

Jungkook's hand came up to the older's cheek and he sighed, "I'm sorry."

"It's not your fault," Jimin smiled and shook his head, "You're good to me."

Jung smiled at that and let his thumb play with the belt loop on Jimin's pants, "You'll tell me if I'm being unfair, won't you?"

"I don't know," Jimin shrugged, "Depends on what you're doing."

"I guess I'll have to live with that," Kook smiled, a short breath escaping him.

"Yes, you will," Jimin nodded, which in turn made the two of them burst out in laughter.

After they calmed down, it was quiet again and Jungkook had that look on his face again.

Jimin blushed and pulled the younger a step closer, "Teach me."

"Teach you what?"

"H-How to kiss."

Jungkook smirked and started leaning forward, "It's simple, really. Just relax, and move your mouth."

"How can I relax when my heart's beating so fast?" Jimin pouted, his lips poking out perfectly.

Kook smiled and pressed a soft peck to the older's lips, "Why is your heart beating so fast?"

"I don't know," Jimin whispered, "Maybe because...I want to kiss you."

"Why do you want to kiss me?"

"Because I like you."

"Why do you like me?"

"Because you're you and I know you...and I like you."

Jungkook lightly laughed at that, "Now how's your heart?"

Jimin paused for a second then smiled, "Slower."

"Think you can relax now?"

"Maybe," Jimin nodded, "But...I still have no idea what I'm doing."

"That's okay. It'll take a little bit, but you'll get used to it. You'll know what to do eventually."

"How long did it take you?"

"Never really kissed people a lot, so it took me a while. But if you really wanna get better at it, I have no problem with helping you."

Jimin blushed and lightly smacked the other's chest, "That's dirty."

"I'm holding back, Jimin. Just imagine what I'm thinking of."

"I don't wanna," the older pouted.

Kook laughed and leaned in, "Then just focus on how I move my lips. Think of this like a new dance routine. Find the beat and stick to the music."

Jimin nodded a bit before he closed his eyes, waiting for the younger's lips to meet his own.

The contact was cold at first and Jimin's brow furrowed. He waited a few seconds for fireworks and butterflies, but none of that happened.

He wondered if he was doing something wrong, so he paused. He focused on Jungkook's lips moving against his own then fell into the timing of it.

The younger smiled to himself, pulling Jimin off the door and wrapping his arms around him.
The older slowly pulled away, exhaling as he did so.

"That was good," Jung smiled, his eyes drawn to the redness of his elder's lips.

"Oh...," Jimin blushed and looked to the taller's chest.

Jungkook let out a breathy laugh then pecked the smaller's forehead, "I really like you, hyung."

"I like you too, Kookie," Jimin's hand came up to grasp the fabric covering the younger's upper arm.

"I wish I...I wish we-"

Jimin looked up and found Jungkook with glossy eyes as he bit his lip, "What do you wish?"

"I wish that," it was obvious Kook was fighting a lump in his throat and Jimin wanted to take him home and hold him for the rest of the day, "that we will be together for a long time."

"How long?" The older smiled.

"A while," Jung nodded, the force shaking a tear from his eye.

It landed on Jimin's cheek and the older pouted.

"Sorry baby," Jungkook chuckled and reached over to wipe it away.

"It's fine, just cold," the other shrugged.

Kook softly smiled and Jimin had to stare. He wanted a picture of that smile. He knew, with one glance, he'd never find anyone with more passion and sincerity behind their eyes.
