1 MONTH LATER

Jax holds me to his side snugly as he looks on at Ming's headstone. My chest heavy with hurt,I place a kiss on his delicate cheek. He's managed to get by with this sudden death of a friend and I've tried my best to be a sunshine in his day- or storm depending on what he can take. He's hired a new PA, Melissa but keeps their relationship at bay which is expected because he doesn't know her that well.

"Let's go home." he slips his hand in mine but before leaving I reach into my purse for the single orchid and rest it against the headstone. Even if I didn't know her that much her death hits home, hopefully she finds the love of her life in heaven.

"I'm hungry. Let's go get breakfast." I say as we enter the car. "I'm thinking pancakes so Pershing Square?"

"Anything you want babe." he pipes up putting the car in drive.

We get to the restaurant and I order my usual- blueberry pancake with chocolate drizzle. I look at the deliciousness in front of me before digging in. Chocolate drizzle sticks to the side of my lips but I lick it away before taking a sip of my coffee.

"How can you possibly eat that?" Jax pans from the other side of the table with his no flavored pancakes.

"How can you eat that? You're literally the most boring person I know." I tease taking another bite of my pancake.

"Really, am I boring in bed?" he taunts and I smile.

"Very." I groan dramatically and the older woman beside me gives me a pointed look.

"Okay what if we take the actions in bed out of bed." a smug smile crosses his face as he slips into the booth beside me. Hot air brushes my skin at his insinuation.

"We're not doing that." I stop his hand from running up my thigh. "Can't I enjoy my breakfast Jax?"

He lifts his hand in surrender then takes his attention to his breakfast.

"We're going out tonight." he says sipping on his oj. "But you have no idea and you have to wear a blindfold."

"Are you taking me to hell with you?" I ask.

"Maybe." his response is abrupt and if I didn't know any better I'd think he meant it.

After breakfast he drives me to work and I kiss him goodbye, falling into our marital routine. Living with Jax have been quite easy and I've adapted quite well. I was a bit worried in the beginning considering the first time but as I said that was completely different. So far we've had three fights and lots of bedroom time. I don't think I've had so much sex within a month in my life.

"Jax where are we going? I want to know what to wear." I groan watching as he shaves, something I strangely like doing.

"Anything, maybe nothing at all."

"Haha so funny Jax." I give up on asking him and just throw on a floral maxi dress with sandals. Jax exits the bathroom and I watch closely to see what he'll put on. He slips on a white dress shirt with khaki shorts.

Okay. Casual I guess.

I settle with what I'm wearing and march behind Jax as he leads me to his car.

"Do I wear the blindfold now?" I ask giddily awaiting my surprise.

"You want to be blindfolded so badly huh?" Jax teases when I enter the car. His smell consumes me and I savor it holding it close to my heart.

"No I was just asking. Does your mind need to be in the gutters all the time?"

"No but the gutters are so much fun." he pouts and I laugh at his ridiculousness.

After a while Jax passes me a black blindfold indicating that we're close to the surprise. My heart skyrockets as the car comes to a stop. I'd never imagine that Jax would get me this giddy. I squeal as his hand snakes around my waist pulling me from the passenger's seat. He leads me smoothly until a hard surface stops me.

"Jax." I snap hearing his laughter letting on that he did this on purpose. He leads me elsewhere telling me when to step up or down. The sound of open water slides into my ears.

We must be at a beach?

His hands reach towards my face pulling the blindfold undone and my eyes fall upon a beautifully lit yacht. I turn to look at Jax as he nods telling me to hop in.

I step up onto the yacht trying to keep my balance when it sways a little. I walk around the lower deck and slip inside where the controls are.

"Are we going for a ride?" I ask him plopping down on a seat.

"Whatever you want. It is Mrs. Hudson's after all." my jaw falls beneath the surface of the earth at his words.

"This is mine?" I gape, peering at him waiting for him to tell me this is all a joke.

"I mean it really is Mrs. Hudson's but you won't be Miss Anderson for long right?" I blink.

"What?" my mind spins.

"Ease up Noah I'm not proposing yet."

"Jax you just gave me a yacht." I say in disbelief.

"I know." he beams loving to see me distraught.

"You're crazy." I say pulling his face to mine and kissing him deeply. "Why would you do thi-" he presses his lips to mine before I can finish my question. He deepens the kiss thrusting his hot tongue into my mouth dominating the kiss. My heart burst into a million galaxies from his overtly generous gesture and he called it Mrs. Hudson.

"I love you Noah. I've loved you since you left for Arizona and throughout the two years you went MIA on me and I love you now. Nothing can keep us apart and I won't let anything get in the way of our love." he shakes his head "God I'm so sappy." I laugh when a hint of red climb its way to his cheeks.

"I love you so much Jax and I can't wait to be your wife. Clearly you love the boat way more than me." I mock drawing myself closer to him.

"I wish I could, she's so silent." I smack him before smashing my lips to his reveling in his love and warmth. Satisfaction spreads from my heart and speedily spreads to the rest of my body. Jax have made me the happiest girl alive and I won't let anything get in the way of us.
