Janet was in a passionate kiss with Aaron on a nice, simple date at Ihop.

"Thank you," she whispered.

"Welcome," They chatted and smiled a while. Janet was as happy as ever. Knowing Aaron really cared for her made her have butterflies in her stomach every time she saw him. His phone rang and he grabbed it out of his pocket.

"Don't answer it," she frowned.

"It might be important," she sighed as he answered.

"Hey boss,"

"I need you over at Park and Malibu....we've got trouble,"

"I'm on my way," he hung up and Janet pouted and looked down at her finished plate of pancakes for dinner.

"Sorry baby....rain check?"

"Yeah...I guess so," she frowned and he paid the bill. They walked out of the building towards their car.

"Don't be mad," he touched her thigh and she felt hot. She blushed and looked out the window of the car, watching the scenery rush by.

"I'm not...just sad," she pouted. The rest od the ride was silent except for the music on the radio. He pulled up to the driveway, and both got out. Janet unlocked the door and noticed his stare. She bit her bottom lip as she entered. He shut the door behind her, and she leaned against the back wall closer to the kitchen. He stepped closer to her, his hand on the wall.

"You look sexy when you're mad," he reached down, tracing the curve of her hip. She looked him deeply in the eyes as she unbuttoned her shirt. He slid his hand down her thigh, as she gave a shaky sigh.

"Y-you should go," she managed.

"Just a quickie," he slid his fingers down her pants and into her underwear. He could already feel how wet she was. He rubbed her up and down and she lightly moaned.

"You like it?"

"Mhmm...yes Aaron," she moaned as he kissed her breast.

"You feel tight baby,"

"Ooh, I needed this," she gripped to the corner of the wall as his fingers slipped into her. The painful pleasure made her back arch, and her moans louder. By then her pants were off, and the two lied on the carpet floor. He slid in another finger and stroked faster.

"Faster Aaron," she gripped to the soft mocha carpet as he did so.

"Ohh.....mmmmh keep going," he added another finger to the mix. Her body loved the rough, yet gentle movements. She had longed for the touch of a real man than a rubber stick. he kissed her lips and neck as she enjoyed every minute of it.

"Deeper," She moaned loudly as she went faster and faster. He unbuckled his belt and right then, Mac walked in.

"Aaron!! Seriously?!" He rolled his eyes, and Janet sighed with shakiness in her breath. Aaron pulled up his pants, put on his shirt, steaming.

"What the fuck Mac!! Unless there's a shoot out or something, I want to spend time with my girl!!"

"It is a shoot-out you ass!! We need you!" he growled. Janet was afraid to know he was going somewhere dangerous.

"Don't go," she grabbed his arms. He kissed her lips and caressed her cheek.

"I have to,"

"Be careful," She kissed his lips again.

"I'm coming back, I promise," he and Mac then left, and Janet sighed nervously, and sat on the couch and waited.

~Park and Malibu~

The car sped to a stop as bullets flew through the air. Aaron and Mac quickly got out and ran to the back of the car, and opened the trunk. AK-47's and other weapons were there. Each grabbed them and ran towards the building

"Boss! Answer me," Mac yelled through the phone.

"I'm here Mac...I've been hit," he grunted as lied behind a box of ammunition.

"Where?"

"My shoulder. I'm ruining my best suit," He held his shoulder as it stained his blue suit.

"Hang on boss. We'll get you out of there," Aaron said. They snuck in through the back door, hidden behind junk.Cans, trash and trimmings of trees, so no one could see it. They entered and as they went through the winding concrete hallways, they heard the shouting of a foreign man.

"You will die here and now Jackson!"

"That must be Yao," Mac said. Yao Ping Wo was a the boss of the Yao Ling clan. They had been around since the Italians...before the Irish even. He and Michael have had their rivalry ever since Michael became top mobster. and Yao wants that title back...badly.

"This is some petty shit Yao. Ambush? Why couldn't you fight me like a real man? Instead you shot me....pussy," Michael answered.

"I am not a cat!" Michael snickered.

"All the time you've been here and you still don't know what a pussy is?" Michael looked at him from around the corner of the box. Yao shot at him, knicking the box. All the while, the Japanese and Michael's men were at war with each other, and so far, Michael lost no men, and Yao, almost half of them.

"They got him cornered," Mac said.

"I'll confront. You come from behind and get Mike out of here," Aaron nodded, and they went their separate ways. Aaron climbed down the stairs and hid behind a thick pillar, where Michael was right across from him.

"You will die, and I will finally be the greatest,"

"I would understand if I murdered your parents, but all of this over a title? Petty bullshit!!" Michael yelled. He glanced over at Aaron and nodded. Aaron did the same. Michael held to his bloody right shoulder tightly and scooted closer to Aaron. Mac quietly came up behind the Japanese men and shot one in the leg. They turned to him and multiple shots were fired towards him, but all missed. Aaron quickly ran over to Michael and helped him up as the gunfire continued to go on.

"What the fuck took you so long?! he shouted in pain as Mac held him up.

"Sorry. Janet wanted me to stay," He nodded as they rushed out through the back door. The other men surrounded the 12 left, including Yao himself.

"Kotai!!" he yelled in Japanese, and he and his man ran.

"Nice job boys," Mac said as they all rushed to their cars. Michael was already sitting in the back seat, blood dripping through his fingers.

"How you feeling boss?"

"How the fuck do you think I'm feeling Mac?!" He screamed in pain as Aaron rubbed the wound with alcohol. Mac got in on the driver's side and drove back to the house. The door opened, and Eric and Janet sat watching T.V. She looked up and gasped in terror.

"Oh God," She went up to her brother and looked his arm over, now wrapped in gauze and a torn piece of cloth. She caressed his cheeks with worry in her eyes.

"Mike you have to go to the hospital," she said frantically.

"I can't. They'll ask too many questions,"

"But you're bleeding out," she said in near tears.

"Mac will take care of me Janet. Don't worry," He kissed her forehead, and carefully walked down the stairs to the basement. Janet sat nervously on the couch, tapping her foot. Aaron sat down next to her. She leaned on him lovingly and silently wept into his shirt. He combed through her hair and held her close.

"He's going to be fine Janet. Your brother is too tough to die, especially when he has to defend you," he said.

"I know...I just worry about him a lot more now. Every time I see him walk out the door, I'm afrais he won't come back,"

"Don't worry. He's very careful...except for today," he smiled. Janet smirked as she leaned closer to him.

"Thank you for saying that. I feel a little better," she said, kissing his lips.

"Anything for you baby," They sat together. Mac came up from the basement, his hand now in blue latex gloves.

"Is he ok?"

"I need some help back there. It went in deep," he said. Janet looked at Aaron as he stood.

"Alright," he followed Mac. Janet sat alone on the couch once again. Eric nervously sat with her. There was a large space between them. He scooted closer to her as she had her face in her hands. She shook worriedly as the image of her brother covered in blood haunted her thoughts. Eric moved a little closer., He was now shoulder to shoulder with her. She looked up at him, and scooted away a little.

"Janet? There's something I need to tell you," he said while grabbing her hand. She looked at him.

"What?" She asked.

"I...I love you Janet,"

"Eric-?"

"Just hear me out. From the moment I saw you, I fell for you so fast...please. I love you," he said.

"Eric I-," she was cut off by his lips touching hers. She sat there wide-eyed as she pushed him away.

"Eric!! What the hell is wrong with you?!" she yelled. Aaron was right there the whole time, and his face turned red. Janet slapped Eric hard. She gasped when she saw Aaron had seen the whole thing.

"Baby-" she went to grab his hand, when he snatched away.

"Don't baby me," he said, bumping past her. Janet followed him, trying to explain.

"Aaron please...come back. I didn't kiss back! I slapped him even, you saw that!!" she said as tears came down her cheeks. Aaron kept walking until he reached his car and slammed the door shut.

"Aaron! Please!" he sped off and Janet stood in the middle of the driveway, crying. Eric walked out and sighed.

"Janet...I am so sorry....I had no idea," he said.

"It wasn't that obvious?!" She said sarcastically as she gave him and angry glare while wiping her tears. She pushed past him and went back into the house. Michael was there, a little loopy from the drug Mac gave him to numb him.

"What happened?" asked Ben, looking at her.

"Ask Eric," she stormed upstairs, slamming her bedroom door. Michael looked up at the stairs, then said.

"Eric...what did you do?" Though he staggered, he grabbed Eric by the collar, backing him up to the wall.

"I-I kissed her. I didn't know Janet and Aaron were together,"

"They didn't tell you?"

"No,"

"Even I didn't know," Mac said. Michael let him go, and stumbled to the couch.

"Where is he?"

"He drove off. I don't know where," Eric answered.

"I'll go talk to Janet," said Michael. He stood up. and Ben helped him up the steps.

Aaron stopped his car in a clearing, and grabbed his phone. He dialed a number, and waited to hear him answer.

"Hello?"

"I'm in," he said sternly.

"What changed your mind?"

"Heartbreak,"

~~December 17, 1996~~

Michael thought about life without his sister. It would be very different not hearing her sweet laugh, or see her bright smile all the time. Sitting next to her, he smiled a little. He grabbed her hand. Her curled locks weren't messy nor tame. Some light drool came from the corner of her mouth. He wiped it with a tissue and sat back down. Erin walked in, and sat with him.

"I would love for you to meet her if she wakes up. I think she'd like you,"

"I would too," she smirked and kissed his cheek.

"8 more days...I really want her to wake up. She didn't deserve any of this,"

"No one deserves this,"

"Except the people who caused this," he clenched his fist, shaking with anger,

"Baby? What happened to her?" she asked. He sighed and looked into her eyes.

"Keeping it bottled up inside is just going to eat you up. I should know,"

"I'm not ready...It's too hard to talk about," he said.

"Ok...," She nodded and kissed his lips,

"Come on. we have to get ready for your mother,"

"I don't want to," Erin said frowning. He picked up her chin and kissed her again.

"You have to. You have to face her. Tell you what, if you face your mother, then I'll tell you what happened. No matter how hard it hurts," Erin, though reluctant, nodded and soon they made their way home. Erin began making lasagna with corn and butter rolls. She then began to set the table placements for Michael, her mother, her sister, and herself. Erin had sweaty palms and nervous breaths. Michael hugged her from behind, and kissed her neck.

"Everything will be alright," he said. She nodded, finally calming down when the doorbell rang.

"Do you want me to answer it?" He asked. She shook her head. She held her hand over the doorknob and finally opened the door.

"Hello Erin," said a woman, shorter than Erin by a few inches. Her hair and ebony black, and chocolate skin.

"Hello Elizabeth," Erin said with a blank stair.
