The next morning Megan was laying on her back on a bed in the apartment, Stefan was lying on her left side with his head on the girl's chest, while she gently stroked his soft hair and he drew small figures on her stomach. Tyler was lying on the right side of Megan, they were holding hands with their fingers intertwined. The three of them were just taking time to relax and remember the nice moments they used to have.

"Please promise me that you will never disappear from my life again." Megan pleaded with the most real emotion she had felt in the last months.

"We will never do it again little one." Tyler promised, wanting to mean every word but failing to show it, sealing his venom laced lullaby with a Juda's like kiss to her knuckles.

"We're always by your side, and that goes beyond the physical field." The archer's gold bathed line played a harmonious melody in her ears, lightly breezing her soul with the touch of sincerity it needed. She closed her eyes as he planted a soft kiss to her cheek before returning his head to its legitimate place on her chest.

"Thank you, you don't know how much I missed you, how much I missed having you in touch distance." If she was ever clingy to something, is was them.

"We missed you just as hard dear." Those words slithered with honest ease from Tyler's tongue. Megan turned to look at him with a small smile.

"I have to go back to the team, I need to inform them of what you told me, as well as clarify some doubts that I know they'll have." She didn't want to leave and they weren't relucent to the idea of her returning to that place, but she promised an explanation and she had to keep her word.

"Just 30 minutes more please, I want to make sure I mark my territory." Stefan hugged her tightly by the waist and burried his face even further in her chest, trying to leave his scent tattooed on her body, of course his silly atempt was empty of any chance to having results. They weren't animals.

"That sounds reasonable."

It was noon when Megan walked through the door of the den. She headed directly for the lab where she knew the Doctor would be at this time of day. When she got to the room, not only was the Doctor there, but Lillian was by his side.

"Megan, you're back!" Lillian smiled as soon as she watched the assassin walk through the open door.

"Hello Lillian, Doctor" Megan greeted as she got closer to them with a tight smile on her face.

"Hello darling, are your friends not with you?" He asked, trying to look behind her to see if she was accompanied.

"No, they stayed in their place, they still don't trust you much and they preferred to avoid problems." That last bit was a total lie, is was she that begged them to stay put and leave her to solve this. If it were up to those two, they would happily come over just to start a civil war agaisnt the team, and that was something she didn't quite need at the moment.

"Well, no problem with that, do you want to talk now or do you prefer to wait a few hours?" He offered her to take a seat at the empty stool in front of him, she quicky denied the gentle gesture and softly crossed her arms around her chest.

"I think the sooner the better, I have very important things to say to you." Both of them noticed the urgency in her soft but still stern voice. Davis nodded to her reasonable request, he agreed in that all this had to been finished as soon as posible, for the sake of everyone.

"Lillian, please gather all the members in the meeting room." Lillian turned to Davis but his eyes were glued to Megan, she nodded and withdrawn from the room to comply the order.

----
Every pair of eyes were focused on her. Everyone was seated around the table, patiently wating for the well needed explanation, different expressions played on their faces. Ava was having a debate with herself, trying her hardest to suppress the ever growing anxiousness of wanting to dive in the tidal of sea she for sure knew was happening in the minds of those who surrounded her. "You can start Megan." The Doc indicated with a supportive smile, distracting Ava for the second. Megan let out a large amount of air that she didn't know she was holding.

"Well I'll start by explaining who the men from yesterday were." Megan started

"How do you know them?" Liam said a little to eagerly.

"They have been my friends since I was 11 years old, they are very important people to me, but I didn't know anything about them for the past 8 months." Megan explained with a little frown. She knew she had lied to the team before, and she also knew that she still wasn't telling the entire truth. But that was something she didn't need to explain right now.

"Why did they come? How did they find you, Megan?" Derek asked urgently, he wanted to know everything about these guys who meant so much to Megan.

"When they didn't find me at my home in New York, they got concerned, so they tracked me down and came here thinking that I was in danger ." The girl continued with her explanation.

"But if you say they have been missing for almost 8 months, why did they look for you now?" Ava asked what was on everbody's minds, not that she had a look in them.

"They told me that two months ago they were intercepted by people who wanted to force them to work for them, the meeting ended up in a fight where they almost lost their lives." The terror in her eyes just by thinking about what she would have done if her boys hadn't escaped from that fight, could be missed, but wasn't by the ones that were paying close attention to her.

"Did they tell you who those people were?" Davis aproched the situation as gently as he possibly could, trying to avoid details, as he saw how affected she was by this certain issue. She nodded.

"Yes, I think these people work with the subject you mentioned earlier Doctor." Megan continued. It wasn't sure, but what she did knew was that if these two enemies had joined in forces, they were in serious problems.

"Their names?" Insisted the doctor, everyone else expecting patiently to hear it as well.

"People know them as the Drake brothers" Hearing that name, Megan didn't miss to see how Spencer immediately tensed.

" What did you say?" Spencer asked just to make sure he had heard well.

"The Drake brothers, as a child I thought they were a myth, a story they told us to scare us, but my boys fought them so now I know they are real." Megan watched him closely as explaining. Even she gulped just thinking about them. Spencer clenched his jaw and fisted his hands under the table, he had very bad memories hearing that name.

"Thank you Megan, we need to investigate a little more about this, I think the time has come to face the danger for which we have been preparing all this time."

No, this couldn't be real. It couldn't be about them. So many years without having to worry about them, and now they come back with a plan to destroy everything people love. We needed to stop them.

"Hey Spencer, what's wrong? I noticed your change of attitude when we finished the meeting." Liam came into my room abruptly, and if I weren't so distracted thinking about my problem, I would have yelled at him for coming in without knocking.

"It's nothing Liam, I'm just worried about what we have to face." I lied, but right now I wasn't in a position to tell him about the real problem. Liam walked over to me and put one of his hands on my shoulder.

"Spencer, sometimes you forget that I know you too well to know when you're lying, but I understand, you're not ready to speak and I will respect that." Sometimes it surprised me how well he knew me, I thanked him for being so understanding.

"Thanks Liam" I prayed that my forced smile was enough to assure him for now.

"You're welcome my friend, when you're ready to talk remember that I'm here for you." After saying that he left my room. Someday Liam, someday I promise I'll tell you.

I was sitting on the bed in my room just thinking about everything that had happened in the last 24 hours. My thoughts were interrupted by the sound of someone knocking on my door. I got up to open it.

" Hi Stone"

"What do you want Grey?" My reply came out as coldly as I expected, I was still a bit angry at the way he had treated me yesterday.

"I want to apologize Megan, I know I shouldn't have treated you like that last night, I was just worried about you and I didn't know how to handle it, I'm sorry." I wanted to stay mad at him a little more, but when I looked at those beautiful blue eyes, I knew that it wasn't possible. I wonder when I turned this soft, it was something I definetly didn't like.

"Fine Grey, I forgive you, but you owe me something." I wasn't surprised when his face quickly lit up with a big smile. Such a big dork.

"Thanks beautiful, how about we go to the pool, I know you haven't been swimming there yet." I raised an eyebrow at his proposion, it sounded interesting.

" I would love that"

"Perfect, then change and I'll wait for you at the pool in 20 minutes, okay?" He asked me with great enthusiasm. He was trying so hard, and I was selfish by liking it.

"That sounds good, see you in 20 Grey" My small smile was genuine this time.

"See you in 20" He looked at me one last time before taking a step back and going across the hallway into his bedroom.

15 minutes later I had already put on my swimsuit, realizing that with it on, I could see my tattoos on my leg and my back, I knew that the team had never seen them before, they had only seen the one I had on my wrist. I tied my hair in a loose low ponytail, and I put on an oversized shirt over my bathing suit to avoid walking half naked throughout the den. With one last look in the mirror, I decided that I looked good and went to the pool.

When I got there, Derek was already swimming so I went to one of the chairs, took off my shirt and put it on top of the chair. At that moment, Derek had already noticed my presence and left the pool to walk towards me. Without a shirt I was able to get a better look at his muscles, my eyes discretly followed the trace of the water drops that falled from his hair and continued to slide down his body.

"You look amazing Stone, I didn't know you had more tattoos." His eyes were directly on the tattoo on my leg. I smirked at that.

"Well, there are many things you don't know about me Grey." Without letting another word come out from his mouth, I ran to the edge of the pool and took a graceful dip. The water hit me like an epiphany would, every electric fiber of my system fought againt the liquid, playing the perfect symphony in my body. For me it was always the perfect balance between pain and pleasure whenever I had the opportunity to dove myself into the water, it would give me that purifying feeling.

My glorified moment came to an end when I surfaced, the splash of his body against the water was heared short after I wiped the water from my face. I felt him surface close to me, but was surprised when he grabbed me around the waist and pulled me closer to his chest. My right hand was quick enough to get in between of our bodies, finding it's place on his chest, getting too comfortable for our own well. Our breaths clashed midway, his proximity maked me feel the body heat emaniting from him.

"Let me get to know you better Megan." The way he said my name made me almost fall into his petition. His words were gently pronounced as he stared into my eyes, his gaze slowly falling all the way to my lips.

It was a dangerous game he wanted to play, and I never pledged to follow the rules. Slowly, I removed his arms from me and swimmed backwards, getting the distance I needed away from him. His blue eyes followed my movements, soon his body was doing the same.

" What do you want to know?"

"Your favorite color?"

"Pink"

"Favorite food?"

"French toast"

"Why?"

"It reminds me of one of the first moments that I ever felt happy." For once, lies wasn't what was coming out of my mouth.

"What do your tattoos mean?"

"I think it's my turn to ask you some questions, don't you think?" It wasn't exactly a question when I didn't intend do give him options. It would've been reckless if I were to open up to him so quickly. I knew they had a file, but what they saw was Electric Rose, and what Derek wanted was Megan.

"Okay, ask away." A playful smirk hanged from his lips, daring me to make him sing all of his sins. We swimmed in circles, never losing eye contact, his starry blues lighting up the most curious part of my being.

"How did you meet them?"

"Well I have known Liam and Lillian for many years, together we attended a camp for people with "special abilities", when we were old enough and left that place we lived together until Dr. Davis met us and proposed to form part of the team, Ava was already with the Dr., it seems that he has been her mentor and guardian since she was a little girl, and we met Spencer a couple of months later, Dr. Davis found him and thought that he would be an important piece for the team, we've all been getting along since then." He finished his story and slowly approached me until he caught me between his arms and the wall of the pool. Then he lifted one of his hands up to my cheek and I couldn't help but lean into his touch.

"Will you ever let me in?" He asked me as he moved closer to me, our faces now only a few inches apart.

"Someday" I assured him. Our lips were about to touch each other, he seemed a little insecure but finally he made up his mind and joined his lips to mine. His lips were so soft but demanding at the same time, the kiss started slowly but quickly became one completely hungry and full of lust, his hand moved from my face to my nape to hold me in the place he wanted, his other hand slowly traveled down my body until he reached my thigh, his touch leaving a trace of surreal sparks along my marked skin. I had my hands tangled in his soft hair and lifted my legs to place them around his hips, bringing him closer to me if that was even possible.

Our mouths found their own way of melding together, the hot feeling of his tongue against my bottom lip revealed that he searched for permission to enter my mouth. I refused at first, instead I grazed his bottom lip with my teeth before lightly biting him, igniting the perfect balance of extasis between pain and plesure for him to enjoy. Relucently, I gave in to his desire, his tongue finding mine and battling with it like the longest of time enemies, slowly turning into a poison soaked dance I rarely savored with a luxury that did no more than delight me.

The world is a cruel place, but what I was doing was beyond known cruelty, it was for sure that he was gonna take this and make the better of it but I just didn't have the liberty of thinking this was more than what it simply was. Are interaction was cut when we lacked air, the heat of all of it was embracing us in the only way the moment deserved, when we were forced to separate our lips our foreheads were the ones that leaned against each other, trying to find our breaths and recompense the comfort of the sharing moment.

His hands moved to my back while mine found the path down to his chest, the silence surronding us gave us the amount of time needed to sink in the feeling.

"I'll wait."
