"Absolutely not." Megan had been sitting alone in the garden, enjoying the warm of the sunset and staying in the breezing air the nightfall brought along. Derek joined her somewhere in between, and then she stayed there, hearing how he was going on about this 'help' that A.R.R.O.W. had demanded upon them.

Seeking professional help for her evergrowing personal issues hadn't and wouldn't ever be a consideration of her owns. She had them in the past, professionals trying to reach the center of her problems, doctor after doctor, no matter what the reason they where working on her, one after one it never worked. S.I.N. didn't give up though, no matter the amount or how strong she failed each time, they would always pin on how important it was that they could get a hold of what triggered her emotions the way they did, seeing it years later, she realized it was probably just so they could know how to control her better.

Derek sighed, he expected that kind of answer, but it wasn't like it was his say. "It's not that bad, you just answer whatever you feel comfortable with and the sessions stop the moment you say so."

Reasoning with her on the specific topic, wouldn't take him far and he should have known that. "I don't want any sessions and I won't be answering any of their questions." She hoped it would get through his head this time.

"It's not on me, it's not on any of us, it's what they are going to do and it doesn't matter if we like or not." He said what she already knew. "Why don't you just try it?" He gave up on trying to explain it any further, she didn't look like she was listening to any of it anyway, she had already made her decision.

"They tried to do that before, it never worked." She spoke and he turned to see her, he didn't expect that she was actually going to give him an answer. "All of those question askers, they just had to hit the right word and then they would fall like all of my other victims." She didn't turn to see his reaction during her confession, she was being vulnerable once again in front of one of them and it frustruated her beyond point.

So, she sticked to playing with the watch-like artefact on her wrist, only a few seconds in the silence, like neither of them knew what to say. Before she gave him the chance to think of something, she stood up from her place and walked back into the lair, leaving him out there alone, without another glance.

Megan only walked out of the conversation because she didn't want to say anything more, she didn't know what to do now that she was inside. Her legs halted near the stairway to the basement, she briefly looked around before leaning back on the wall and slowly sliding down to the floor, she brought her knees closer to her chest and rested her arms on top of them.

Her fingers found once more the cold material that wrapped around her wrist, with her head back to the wall and eyes closed, all she could do was think; think about what Derek had informed her of, think of possible solutions she could come up with to get out of that situation. Thoughts that inevitably lead her mind to memories, ones that she didn't appreciate.

" What are you thinking about?" The question startled her, she hadn't heard him get closer. Her eyes opened and tried to adjust to the dim light of the hall, to see him leaned against the wall in front of her.

His eyes moved to his gift, the one she was still playing with. "Would you be suprised if i told you i'm not good with therapy?" And then he understood.

"So Derek told you." She nodded once and her eyes drifted to her trembling fingers. Spencer watched her carefully for the next two seconds, then his own head leaned back to the wall and eyes landed on the ceiling. "You don't have to be good with therapy to go through it."

"I'm not sure if I would even be able to endure half of it." Why was she feeling like she was dissapointing someone? She didn't like it.

Nothing was spoke for a few breaths. "I... I had to take some when I first got here too." His confession made her lift her gaze to him. "It wasn't easy at first, but then i guess you just realize it's like talking to yourself, just out loud, you already know your torments, the questions only give you a push to admit them." It was diffilcult to talk about it, but for her, he made the effort.

And she considerated it, his way of viewing it. She was convinced she was not going to like it, not now, not with the pass of time, but maybe it'll get easier, just as he projected it.

She always found herself comfortable with Spencer, either it was in enduring silence or in vivid conversation, she looked at him like if that would help her discover the reason to why.

"How do you know...how do you know i'm as strong as you to see it as you have described it?" As smart as him, as capable as him, as stable as him. Truth is she couldn't see nor hear what was on his mind, she couldn't know what events of his past shaped him to the Spencer she had met, she didn't know Spencer, not beyond of he wanted her to know. She craved to reach that point, where she could confidently say she knew him.

He had his answer. "Cause I see right through you." That should have alarmed her, and it did in a point, but she was far more concerned about something else.

"Can they see right through me?" Her eyes diverted into the emptiness of the long hallway. He heard the fear in voice, he could see how her breathing had acelerated, he saw her with a soft determination as she awaited the response.

"They can't." And that relieved her. "I think we're alike in a lot and deeply important ways, and I think that's how I know who you are..... because your just like me." She took it as a compliment, one her mind still couldn't fully understand due to one solely reason.

"And who are you Spencer?" He gave her that kind of smile Liam would often give her, that kind of smile that told her he wasn't going to help her with an answer. And now it was up to her to reach that point where she could truly understand him, where she could truly see him.

Steps were coming closer and before she could look up to see who it was, a jacket was thrown to her lap. "Come on, we're going for a walk." Now Derek was standing before them, his hands in the pockets of his jacket and eyes focused on her, waiting for her.

She returned the gaze. "And what makes you think i'm going with you?" Spencer looked at them both with amuse.

"Because I asked pretty please." He said with a fake smile and even added a tilt to his head that almost led Spencer to let out a chuckle. "You'll be okay staying here with Ava right?" Spencer nodded. "Perfect." Then Derek walked away, especting Megan to follow behind him.

She rolled her eyes and relucentlessly accepted Spencer's help to stand up. "Try not to get into to much trouble." She looked at him while putting on the jacket.

"Have you met Derek?" He smirked. She quickend her step to reach Derek who already was wainting for her in the entrance. He opened the door for her as soon as he watched her comming, which she didn't aknowledge and led him to roll his eyes for the attitude.

Once they reached the street she let him lead, since she still had no idea to where he wanted to 'walk' to. Falling into a quite and steady pace, she looked up to the darken sky at the faint sound of an airplaine flying above them. Megan couldn't pretend she wasn't still shaken with the sound of any aproaching vehicle, even in busy car streets, she will still look cautiously for any posible danger.

"This is my jacket." She looked at the tight material hugging her body.

"Is there a problem with that?" There shouldn't be, who would have a problem with wearing their own piece of clothing?

He kept walking, looking straight forward. "How did you get it?" He knew she so badly wanted to hear him say he had entered her bedroom to retrieve the jacket, just to have a reason to be mad at him.

And what she would hear would destroy her hopes. "It's the one you left in the training room, i found it days ago and forgot to tell so I hanged it on the rack near the entrance, thought you would see it..." He briefly glaced down at her. "...but I guess you didn't."

Sincerly, she hadn't. She hadn't even remebered she left it in the training room as a starter, although she did realize it was missing, her mind was just far more concerned about other factors than a missing jacket. Putting her hands in the pockets, the tinniest hint of a smile appeared along her lips when she felt the outline of her spare daggers.

They walked down the vast lands that didn't hold much to see, it was better for them not to be around of big groups of society. The breeze made her hair fly against her face, her arms tightened around the jacket to stop the chills running down her body, she wondered when exactly would they reach the location he wanted to get to.

Derek would glance back at her from moment to moment, he knew she would still be there everytime he looked, maybe he just wanted to boost his own confidence, make sure he was still there.

They had reached the tree line, and now he was leading them right through it. The noise of snaping branches and shattering leaves beneath their shoes was the only sound embracing them. The moonlight creeped between the treetops, iluminating their steps just enough to actually see where they were stepping.

And it wasn't until they reached an open green that he stopped, making her halt a few steps behind him. Looking at their surroundings, she had no complains of the election of the space, it gave them a new breath of air. It were seconds that passed of them just absorbing the view, the moon and stars shined above them like a spotlight.

She returned her eyes to him as he started to move once again, this time he only took some strides before stoping and sitting on the grass. She considerate staying where she stood, knowing where he wanted her to be, and she only confirmed it when he called out her name.

Yet, she still made his wait longer, finally giving up almost a minute later and cutting the distance as she sat next to him.

She bent a knee close to her chest and leaned back on her hands, glancing briefly at him, wanting him to say something, preferably the reason of them going to that place. "I remember the day I watched Liam being taken away to the camp like if happened just yesterday." She didn't know why exactly that was the first thing to come out of his mouth.

"It's not easy for an eleven year old boy to watch the street fill up with all kind of agents, your neighbors hide away their children, and hear the screams from his best friend, the cry's of a little girl who was so confused as to why they were taking her brother away from her..." He paused to take a deep breath. "..it wasn't the first and it surely wasn't the last event that haunt and come back like burning curses." It was then when he finally turned to look at her, only to see that she already had her eyes on him.

"We all have our pasts, the ones that shape us, but it doesn't mean we have to keep them hidden behind walls." But was it worth bringing them to the light just for it to chase after everthing you cared for?

"Would it make you happy if i simply acepted the therapy?" Willingly or not, she knew she would have to take it anyway, A.R.R.O.W wouldn't let that slip, and knowing that, it would make her a better person if she just made it easier for Derek.

A small smile grew on his face. "It would, but it's not me that I care about." She blinked once before leaving his face and returning her attention to the view. "Maybe you'll even be lucky enough to get a therapy teddy bear." He joked, doing the same as her.

"Like, those stuffed animals?" She sounded unsure while asking, but knew she was correct when she saw him nod out of the corner of her eye. "I've never had one of those." It was almost a whisper, he had heard it, and remaind from asking when he remembered where she grew up.

They stayed silent again, and that was okay, they didn't feel like anything needed to be said for the moment.

That was before she felt it, then a second later, she heard it, and she confirmed Derek had aswell when they both turned to look at eachother with alarm in their eyes.

He took her quickly by the hand when they both scrambled to their feet, running them both behind a tree just in time to shelter them from the first explosion. The second, third and fourth came shortly after, and he still had her covered between his arms, but it didn't remain like that by the fifth, they were forced apart by the magnitud of it.

Megan landed hard on her left shoulder after flying briefly through the air, the smoke messed up her vision of the situation but that didn't keep her from knowing who was behind it. The sound of new devices landing close to her, helped her remember that she needed to mantain focused.

"Megan, ears!" She heard Derek scream although she still hadn't located him, and even before she could process what was going to happen, she followed his instruction.
Her hands had covered her ears just as those small artifacts blowed up, an overwhelming sound with the purpose of disorienting anyone in the radar filled up the air.

It had reached her, and she was pained by it, her senses where now clouded and body had been bruised, but her mind still ran the fastest it could to set her in survivor mode. She stood from the ground as she could, the adrenaline kicked in when she felt the first pair of hands on her.

Her elbow flew back towards whoever was holding, she managed to connect to their throat and was able to create some distance between them, enough to give her the time to withdraw one of her daggers and injure her opponent. But she wasn't fast enough to withdraw her hand before he catched it and throwed her back on to the floor, he landed on top on her, her reflexes still to slow to stop the first punch that conected to her jaw, a metalic taste flooded her mouth.

Everything happened in less than two seconds, she reached again inside her jacket and this time she made sure to hit a spot without cover, blood that wasn't hers splattered all over her face as she struggled to kick the now lifeless body off of her.

Every part of her body was begging for a moment to recover their motion, each of her senses was still messed up, but she didn't have the time, they wouldn't allow that. As soon as she blinked, two other black uniformed agents came towards her, she moved as fast as she could process and kicked the first one in the chest and swinged her arm to the second one.

When one of her arms was grabbed she used her other hand to connect a punch directly to the agent's throat, she really had the desire to punch them all an uncoutable number of times in the face, most likely 'till they were left unrecognizable, but their bullet proof helmets were clearly going to be an obstacle for that.

While handling the two, she felt another pull in the air, it surrounded them like an invisible dome and it felt heavy on her chest, in only took her five seconds to know what was happening. Her eyes searched the smoke covered field, she still had no sight of Derek, but with her hearing beginning to stabilize she picked up the sound that gave her a clue of where he was dealing with his part of the fight.

The pain striked directly to one of her sides, her knees buckled to the point she almost fell to the ground, but a little bit of electricity wouldn't make her kneel for those fools. She took the metalic bolts that conected to her body through her clothes with her hand, when one of them came closer she saw the syringe in his closed fist and deduced their intention, she forced her body upright and moved faster than him to plug the bolts to him instead, when he loosed his grip on the syringe she took and injected it's liquid directly to his thigh.

Before that agent fell to the groud with a loud thump, Megan took the knife out of the sheath attached to his belt, she then proceded to throw it directly to the one still standing. She hit him in the chest but the vest he wore didn't let it penetrate much further, when he came closer she fumbled back to seek for something else to use, she dodged his kick just before it could connect to her head and as she did, she saw her next weapon.

She stood back up again with a thick branch in her hands, is was from one of the many trees that had been blowed up with the explosions. She used it against him until she managed to have the upper hand, she had him on the ground and finished him when she used her weight to bury the knife that was still on his chest futher deep, this time it hit his heart directly.

A distresful grunt left her lips as she made sure to twist the knife and really bury it within his body, not even the crunch that indicated his broken bones satisfied her, she only got away from the body when the sound of Derek brought her back to reality.

This time she could see him clearly, he was running directly to her while shouting something she didn't have the time to make out as he ran his body to hers, it took them both down a small hill, rolling 'till the bottom, he covered her head and protected her body from the impact as much as his arms could manage.

When they finally came to a halt, she was ready to scream him off, she now had to add a terrible headache to all the aches her body had been collecting throughout the night. He beat her to the words. "Do you have any deep injury?"

His hands holding firmly her both arms and his eyes searching her body for any visible damage. "I'm fine, but you're bleeding." Her eyes landed on his left side, a growing patch of red staining his light gray shirt. He looked down at it too.

"It was bearly a graze, i'll live." Both their voices sounded out of breath, both their bodies looked beaten up.

They remained covered while the sound of danger kept going. "They blocked our powers, we don't have the weapons if more of them come." Even if they were both skilled fighters, there wasn't much they could do against an army with only a pair of knives in their hands. She looked at Derek as she spoke her next words. "They're not looking to kill me, they're using paralizing weapons to try and contain me, they're here to take me back." At this, he turned to look at her aswell.

"Well then they certainly don't have the same intentions for both of us, they were clearly trying to eliminate me." Those were real life ending bullets they were using against Derek. No more words could be spoken between the two as yet another explosion blew their small hill hide-out.

Megan was on the ground again, this time a thin layer of dirt and stones covered her body. She spat out the mix of blood and dirt in her mouth as she managed to get on her hands and knees, her anger levels shot up to a point she was sure going to make them regret make her reach.

"Agent Rose, what a delight of sight you gift me." Through her body tingled a cold sensation, the recognition of the owner of that voice almost made the color of her face vanish. She heard when his booted steps halted just a few feet away from her vulnerable state of frame, she had no desire to see him that night, no desire to ever see him again while she still breathed.

Her bruised face lifted just enough to lock eyes with the man. "Ballow." She was seething, and he showered in joy for that. She forced her body to straighten up, sitting on her heels, she didn't want to give him any more satisfaction than she already had.

He smirked. "Doesn't this reunion just make you so... joyous?" The game he was playing did nothing but feed the turning
