"y/n, Hi," Clay says, I watch as the green ring around his discord profile picture lights up. "These are my friends George and Nick"

"Hey guys," I say softly.

"Hey" George's name highlights "what's up?"

"uh I'm just struggling to sleep, how about you guys?" I answer, his name was comforting too, making me less nervous.

"George is British so it's not as late there, we are just talking and planning some future videos," Nick explains.

"Its nice to finally meet you, we've heard quite a lot about you y/n" George reveals.

"Shut up George" Clay laughs "Don't scare her away"

"Ignore George he is dealing with unrequited love"Nick laughs "We are planning on watching a movie, any recommendations?"

"Uh um no my recommendations are pretty boring" I reply honestly, sitting on my bed, leaning against the bed board.

"I can confirm" Clay chuckles.

"Hey!" I defensively say and I hear laughs from George and Nick. " You made me watch Midosommar the other day at like two am and you asked questions every ten seconds."

"It's confusing" Clay shouts.

" 'why is she walking in there?' 'why is this so confusing?' " I imitate his voice.

"I don't sound like that" he laughs "I'm not watching a scary movie with you anymore"

"Great we should watch another scary movie," Nick suggest, ignoring clays previous comment "Turn on cam George I wanna see your sexy face"

"Shut up idiot," George shouts before turning the camera on, revealing his face, which became familiar to me, given the deep dive I did on Clay and his youtube channel.

"Do what I say like i'm daddy" Nick sings, causing laughter to echo from all of us.

"let's watch Harry potter then," George says after the laughter has settled down.

"You're so painfully British it hurts" clay insults, making george stick his tongue out at the camera while flipping him off . Their friendship was adorable. "and also that's me and y/n ' s movie so we can't watch it."

"How about a romance movie, get the vibe going" Nick laughs "who doesn't like a good romcom?"

"Clay is the grinch of romance movies" George adds.

"y/n they are idiots aren't they" Nick sighs "Well i'm going to take a shower, i'll probably go to sleep after, so i'll text y'all in the morning"

"Hey we are meant to watch a movie" George shuffles in his seat, adjusting his headphones, looking slightly disappointed.

"uh you're so dumb, check dms" nick says and George comes closer to his computer, looking at it before typing something in.

George looks at the camera smiling "i have to go to, bye" He leaves and so does Nick, leaving me and Clay in the call. We burst into sudden laughter.

"they couldn't make it any more obvious" Clay says, struggling to form words because of his laughter.

"I know right" I try to stop myself from laughing too hard, Nick and George had obviously left so that Clay and I could talk to one another privately.

"so y/n" Clay says softly into the mic when he has finished laughing.

"So clay?"

"I don't want to watch a movie" he confesses.

"I mean we don't have to-" I begin to say.

"I just want to spend time with you" He interrupts. 'he's going to be the death of me' I say to myself, forming a smile on my face. "are you in bed?"

"Yes, weirdo" I laugh, laying down and crawling into my covers.

"Me too, it's weird that we are both in bed but not in the same bed"

"you're an idiot Clay" I chuckle.

"Goodnight y/n" he fake yawns.
