Terra dismounted Moonshine after checking the barn, on the cows, goats, 'em chicken and all that ranchy stuff.

She walked back into the house to find Aunty serving Bibo and Jeremiah some toast and hot chocolate.

"This night, Aunty?" Terra chuckled, "I could have prepared some pizza for 'em."

"It's ok, Tee. They asked for it anyway."

She looked around, none else there - Dad, Uncle and Gran were probably off to bed. She sat beside Bibo on the brown worn sofa and stared at the fireplace - she felt kinda awful for missing some part of the singing.

"This toast is burnt." Jeremiah laughed when his mother left. He was shoving it in Bibo's face. "It too brown."

Terra watched them both laugh. "You guys can't appreciate? It's past 12, the next day and momma is up to feed your insatiable heart. Would you make better toast Jerry?"

"Yes. Ill get up and make breakfast for everyone."

"Put a bet on it!" Bibo laughed, elated by the argument.

"Ill do your chores if I win, and back." Terra smiled.

"Bet!" They shoke hands.

The cabin was warm, a bit on the hot side because of the fire. She sat and watched the kids eat, waiting to tuck them in for bed. She had a cellphone, not a really good one but it did the job. She didn't use it often, neither watch television. More of the fun was in physical activities around Blueberry.

As soon as Jeremiah and Bibo finished thier toast and hot choco, Terra escorted them both to their room in the arctic of the cabin. Two king size mattresses were layed down on the plank floors. The architecture was splendid: triangular structure, cyan lighting, fine furry rug and hologram stars filled the space.

"Good night Tee!" Bibo allowed Terra tuck her in. She cuddled her horse shaped teddy bear very tight as Terra pulled fluffy blankets over her.

"Goodnight luv." She smiled and pecked her cheek. She turned to Jeremiah, they looked at each other for a bit. "I wake up at 7am, I get ready for breakfast at 30."

He broke into a wild grim, then turned to back her "Night Tee."

"Good night, Jerry."

She lay on her bed and recalled the activities of her day: Ranch stuff, take care of Gran, skipping with Bibo, Chess...and then Savior. As soon as she remembered her encounter, Terra hopped out of her bed and dashed into her fathers room, ready to explode the news of a new ranch.

She bounced in to see her father at a desk constructing the art of a new barn him and Uncle wanted to add to the ranch. As soon as she came in he flinched!

"Daddy!" Terra walked over to the desk, "Young boy and his mom started a new ranch here in Blueberry!"

"A new ranch?"

"Yes a new ranch!" She exploded and took a sit on the floor by his feet, "They are from Genshaba, that means they rich, Daddy."

He looked at her and didnt speak. Not that he didnt care, it took him a moment to process the news.

"His name is Saviour, says the ranch might take a couple years to start selling."

"Where did you see this?"

"Tonight, when I went out to check on the farm...well, I went a bit far out of the ranch but that don't matter now."

"How long?"

"A few." Terra said, "Look, they cant start selling here. Folks from the north have a lot of contacts and magic. They can put our buisness to the ground."

"What now?"

"I dunno! Make them leave!" Terra shrugged, "let's pay 'em a visit tomorrow with some apple pie and corn. Bribe the lady!"

"Terra calm down." Mr.Walter resumed the art, Although, it was clear he wasn't happy about the news.

"How can I be? Mom wouldn't have wanted this family buisness to collaspe. Gran had it, her gran had it. Why cant it pass on to me? I dont want scraps!" Terra whined, she wanted to start a fight so bad. "I'll help."

Her father just nodded his head and rested back on his chair. "They are legally allowed to be here, Terra. You cant just make people go away."

"Ill scare 'em off." Terra said, "You dont worry much. I can do it alone since it isnt bothering you."

"Not now. It's past bedtime, we have got a long day ahead of us. How bout we talk about this tomorrow? Just I beg you not to let Gran know about them just yet." Mr.Walter looked at her. Stress was written all over his face: ruffled full beard, long messy hair and high pigmented skin.

Terra got up to leave. She was the kind that makes decisions however and whenever. This conversation wasn't getting permissoon from her Dad to scare 'em off, it was notifying him of what she planned to do next. The strong will-powered damsel had a heart as tender as new born, but as hard as iron.

She got back to her room and shut her eyes, meditating on what next to do about the new ranch. None around Blueberry ever considered merging, it never crossed their minds. The culture was woulded them into being independent and smart.

There was strong rivalry in the town. Lawmen were corrupt, dont do much. So the people of Blueberry had to fight for themselves. Times have come where a ranch was burnt to the ground, an entire lifes investment because thier worker stole a few cows from another ranch. Well obviously he was arrested judging my severity, but theft and threats weren't treated seriously.

They were close with a farm... just one. They found common grounds because after Jeremiah was born, the family had come to offer great amount of crops in hope to be friends.

"𝑶𝒉! 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒊𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒆𝒐𝒑𝒍𝒆 𝒔𝒆𝒆𝒎 𝒍𝒐𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒔...𝑺𝒆𝒆𝒎 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒔..." Terra sang with her eyes shut. "𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒇𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕...𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒚...𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒗𝒆. 𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒇𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒌𝒆𝒆𝒑 𝒂 𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒎...𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒄𝒕."

The sun struck the horizon. Terra rose from her bed. Her body was trained from years to wake at seven without an alarm. Consistent. She pulled the blinds of her room apart and honoured the view of the ranch. Dad and Uncle were off-loading some planting equipments from a delivery truck.

She took her shower. Wore a green polo shirt and shorts too short to be seen. She pulled a straw hat over her head and fixated boots over her feet. Light makeup she had done today to mock the people of Genshaba: pink gloss, light blush and mascara. She left classy. Her hair was let down and finely curled at the ends.

Terra left the room to begin her chores. Before getting involved, she stopped by the kitchen to check for her morning toast. None there. Jeremiah apparently lost the bet. She wasnt going to let the 12 year old milk the cows, feed the chicken 'nd goats, fork poop off the barn and ride to the woods to carry firewood... those were her chores that he would have to do since he tost her bet, but she wasnt going along with it anyway.

Terra sang as she made her way outside the house, "𝑰𝒕'𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒎𝒂 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒂𝒔 𝒘𝒆 𝒑𝒍𝒐𝒘 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒈𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒔, 𝒃𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒉𝒆𝒍𝒑 𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒉!" Melodic, her voice was pitchy and soft. Gran was awake sitting on a rocking chair outside, smiling into nothing. When she heard Terra singing she looked in her direction and sang along. "𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒖𝒏 𝒊𝒔 𝒐𝒖𝒕! 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑰 𝒓𝒊𝒅𝒆 𝒂𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒉, 𝒆𝒚𝒆𝒔 𝒘𝒊𝒅𝒆 𝒎𝒚 𝒉𝒐𝒑𝒆𝒔 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒉𝒊𝒈𝒉....."

She made her way to greet her father at the front of the ranch, skipping her way there.

"Morning Tee!" Uncle smiled when he saw her from far, "Sleep well?"

"Good Morning Uncle Dan!" She gave him a side hug, "Morning Daddy!"

"Morn dear." Her dad smiled when he saw her makeup, "Quite a look today?"

Terra blushed. She picked up a few hoes from the truck to transfer them to the shed.

"Don't w'rry about these. Go meet your aunty in the barn, help her with the cows." Her uncle took the equipments from her hands.

The boots made her height spring up further. She was taller than her dad vividly. At least today. She was happy, did a few catwheels on her way there to let off the extra energy. Her father had employed a few workers to help fertilise the corn yard. As she walked pass, they all stared at her sculpt, perfectly curved.

Her Aunt was in the barn, just getting started with the cows. "Tee, you are awake." Her Aunty said when she saw her.

"Morning Aunt Lily!"

"How was your night? you slept a bit late."

"It was quite alright!" She answered, crouching in front of the cow to get started milking, "I tucked in Jerry and Bibo last night."

"Oh yes, Thank you. I came in to check on 'em and they was upstairs drooling all over the pillows."

They laughed together. Terra wore some rubber gloves before she began milking the cow, patting it gently so it doesnt get a bit protective and agressive. Once it were enough to fill a jar, she stopped and transferred the milk into an iron jar.

"Would you wake up Bibo and Jerry? I want 'em to learn how to start helping deeper around here." She wiped off sweat off her forehead. Her blonde hair was let into a messy bun, some sticking to her face from sweat. "And if you could by any chance, give Bibo a bath? I'll help finish up with the cows."

"Its no problem, I can do them both!" Terra smiled and swiped off the gloves from her aunty's trembling hands. "Gran is at the porch, take a sit there."

Lily laughed and stood up, no arguments. Her face was red from stress. She looked up at Terra, her eyes watered a bit. "I'm pregnant."

"Wha-"

"Dont tell Dan, dont tell your daddy!" She added hastily.

"Oh my God this is great, Aunty!" Terra smiled, she pulled her into an embrace, "When did you find out?"

"Last night. And I'm scared." She wipped off her tears, "We can't afford another kid!"

"Relax!" Terra screamed, "Thats what you said when we had lil Bibo, we are fine nowww!"

Lily laughed, more like blushed. She nodded her head in agreement, "I need to see a doctor later on today to know how long it's been."

"You should, and also tell Gran about this!" Terra laughed, she felt overly elated, "Don't touch the cows or any chores! I'll be back." With that Terra dashed back into the house to get her cousins.

In the space only lil Bibo was there, sleeping. Terra tapped her awake, she was reluctant.

"Where is Jeremiah?"

"𝓲 ᦔꪮꪀ𝓽  𝘬ꪀꪮ᭙..." Bibo mumbled, the six year old fell back asleep.

"Jeremiah!" Terra called out, she searched the house and he was not within. She kept saying to herself 𝑫𝒐𝒏'𝒕 𝒑𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒄 till she returned back to the room. It caught her attention that the actic window was wide open, the curtains flying in the direction of the wind.

"Jerry?!" She walked over to the window. Uncle Dan was standing out there having a drink while supervising the workers on the corn yard. "Uncle Dan! Have you seen Jeremiah?!"

"Sleeping! Isn't he up there with you?"

"NO!!" She yelled back, louder. Bibo was awake now, sitting on the bed and frowning to the screams of Terra.

She closed up the windows and picked up Bibo to her back, the youngster let loose and began smiling. "Back ride!"

Terra didn't feel a need to make rhe child feel safe. She was hinted that Jeremiah was in Ohilo's ranch, a few miles from theirs. Those folks kidnapped everything and anyone, rumors told they even traffiked humans in their barns and reared sick cows.

In Blueberry, the greatest rival was between Walter and Ohilo. Just a few weeks back, Ohilo had threatened Mr.Walter and his family that they should not sign a deal with south Rejola concerning yearly trade. Long story short, Dad had signed the deal and Ohilo had claimed to end his entire career. They stole from each other, once pointed guns in their faces. Jeremiah going missing seemed to Terra as one of Ohilo's little schemes.

She set Bibo in the sitting room with some bacon. Then dashed out of the house to explode her thoughts to the men of the ranch.

"Daddy! Uncle!" She called. The two men gathered around her.

"Jeremiah is missing!" She bursted out without checking the whole ranch. "Ohala has taken him, those bastards!"

"Have you checked the whole ranch?"

"Yes I have!" She lied, unable to look her father in the eyes. Terra was already heading to her horse, Moonshine. "I suggest we pay them a little visit! Show them who's boss around here!"

Jeremiah's father, Uncle Dan just stared up into the heavens and mouted a prayer, "Mount your horses."
