Charlotte keeps telling me to let Matthew have some time for himself, but I feel we need at least to talk, even if it ends up in a argument, at least I got the opportunity to talk with him.

I'm seeing Draco smile way more often than before, which really makes me feel good, his smile is the most beautiful one I've ever seen, and the only one that can make me be with him forever, just to look at that soft and genuine smile, and his diamond eyes.

Umbridge has been taking over the entire school, imposing new rules every single days he, she is even questioning the teachers for some kind of evaluation, which means no good.

As I climbed down the stairs to the common room, I found Matthew, alone, probably going ahead to his classes, I probably should let him go, but I wouldn't imediatly called as soon as I saw him.

"Matthew, wait!" I shouted, he hesitated for a moment, before stopping his tracks, and slowly turned to me.

His face showed no emotion, his lips were in a firm line, he showed no interest for speaking with me, but still, here he is.

I looked him in the eye, the deep blue eyes, that once made me melt in the endless ocean in them, but not any more, his eyes were no longer in ocean but ice colors, showing nothing more than rage and coldness.

Matthew has never been like that, it's true, I once had feelings for him, but not anymore...

"What do you want, Lara?" He asked coldly, even his tone towards me made me flinch, we looked like completely strangers, or enemies even, that hate each other.

"Look, I just want to say, I'm sorry and-" He cut me off.

"Yeah, yeah, and Malfoy is actually the good guy, and I'm not, and he's different around you, and you miss your bestfriend, yeah Lara, I know that story, I'm used to it by now, spare your words for something more important." He said firmly, and started to turn away from me.

"What did we become, Matthew?" I asked before he had the chance to walk away, I wouldn't let that happen, not this time.

He stared at me for a moment, his eyes showed nothing but rage, but also regret.

"What did you, become Lara." He asked after some seconds of silence, his tone firm and cold towards me.

"I'm the same, Matthew, I just see things differently from you, Charlotte agrees with me now, and you should-" He cut me off.

"I heard about your mother." He said firmly, making me lock my gaze with him, waiting for something else from him to say. "I went to speak with you that day, at dinner, and then I saw you with him..." He said coldly, and drove his gaze from me in embarrassment, I know how he have must felt, probably betrayed and replaced. "I'm truly sorry about your mother, Lara, and I'm here if you need, but, I think it's for the best if we just, be separated for a time."

"But, why? Why do you still think Draco is the bad guy and that he's not different when he's with me-" He cut me off.

"It's true, I still think he's the bad guy, but I believe in you now, when you say he's different about you..." He said firmly. "And that only makes things worse." He said calmly, and started to walk away from me.

"No, Matthew wait!" I shouted but he ignored me, and walked away from me.

I stood there for a few moments, replaying everything that happened, what could his words possibly mean.

I wanted my bestfriend back, and I was far from doing so, perhaps it was better if I listen to him and let him have a time for himself...

Perhaps Charlotte told him something, perhaps he saw the same thing Charlotte did at dinner - whatever it was - but still, I don't know what it's wrong with him, but I will find out, sooner or later...

In the afternoon, I saw a huge crowd of students, reunited in the hallways outside, around the courtyard, so me and Charlote decided to see what was going on, and we saw Trelawney, and Umbridge.

Professor Trelawney was standing with lots of bags around her, looked like she was crying, while Umbridge had a devilish smile on her face.

I found Draco among the students, also watching the what was happening, and pulled Charlotte with me, towards him.

"Hey, what's happening?" I asked softly at him, when me and Charlotte stood besides him, watching Professor Trelawney and Umbridge.

"Umbridge. She fired Trelawney." He said firmly, as we all focused our gazes in them.

"Hogwarts is my home." Trelawney said sobbing at Umbridge, but she didn't showed the tiniest regret or compassion for her. "You can't do this!"

"Actually I can." Umbridge said, showing nothing but coldness towards Trelawney.

Suddenly, McGonagall passed throught us, and went to hug Professor Trelawney, while she sobbed in her eyes.

"Something you'd like to say, dear?" Umbridge asked McGonagall.

"Oh, there are several things I would like to say." McGonagall said abruptly.

Suddenly the big door opened, showing Dumbledore behind it, he walked slowly towards Umbridge, without saying nothing for a brief moment.

"Professor McGonagall, may I ask you to escort Sybil back inside." Dumbledore said firmly.

McGonagall passed throught Umbridge without saying a word, while Trelawney was in her arms, still sobbing, thanking to Dumbledore.

"May I remind you, that under the terms of educational decree number 23 as enacted by the minister. " Dumbledore cut Umbridge off, and finished her sentence himself.

"You have the right to dismiss my teachers, but you do not have the authority to banish them from the ground, that power remains with the headmaster." Dumbledore said firmly, wiping the devilish smile of Umbridge's face.

"For now." She said, and went back to her smile.

"Don't you all have studying to do!" Dumbledore shouted at all of us, while walking away from Umbridge.

We dispersed from there, and went to the rest of the classes we still had that day, but shocked with what we just saw.

At the end of the day, I went to the Astronomy Tower as usual, to met Draco there.

I sat, besides him, smiling as I did so, and placed my gaze on the beautiful landscape that I already knew so well by now.

"I still can't believe about what happened today with Trelawney." I said softly.

"Well, I've actually never liked her, so I don't really care." Draco said firmly.

"You don't care that Umbridge is taking control of the all school?" I asked, looking at Draco now, who was focused on the stars above him. "You agree with her then?" I asked even knowing he didn't meant that, I just wanted to see his response.

"That's not what I said..." He took a deep breath before continuing. "I would never agree with her, she hurted you, and she'll regret for that..." He locked now his gaze with mine. "I just said I didn't liked Trelawney."

"Still, her classes may be a bit, odd, but that's not reason to fire her." I said softly.

"Whatever..." He said firmly, driving his gaze off me. "I don't really care about her."

"Draco do you even care about anyone besides yourself?" I asked, furrowing my eyebrowns.

"Well, quite a small list, but I do." He said calmly.

At this moment, I remembered what he told a few weeks ago.

I care about you, Blackwell.

Those words have never left my mind, not even for a second, I've become someone he cares about, and so did he to me, someone important, I was just scared that I was being stupid and naive, but no he actually cares about me, and so do I probably even more than he thinks I do...

"Am I included in that list?" I asked sarcastically, thinking he would say no.

"Perhaps you are." He said amusingly, looking at my eyes again, and I felt my cheeks burn, and I hoped that it would be too dark for him to see that. "How about you? Your list?"

"It's not quite big either, basically, it has the persons I love the most." I said softly, smiling at him.

"So I guess I'm not included then." He said.

"You're not?" I asked amusingly, smirking now at him.

He locked his gaze with mine, and smirked at my sentence, and then we both turned to see the watching stars.
