I woke up in the morning and went to the Slytherin common room to see if I could find my friend, Matthew Angelo, a slytherin as well, but one year above me.

"Well, good morning, mon chéri." The dark, curly hair, and tanned boy said from the top of the stairs, slowly climbing them down, to sit besides me on the couch.

"Good morning, someone is in a good mood today I see." I said softly, as he sat on my side, looking at the fire place.

"I haven't seen you yesterday, what were you up to?" I asked softly, crossing my arms in front of my chest.

Matthew has always been like a big brother to me, it's protective, and it's the most helpful person I've ever met in my life, nothing compared to most of the boys in oir house, he's nice and a friend that I want to take through my whole life.

"Well, I've talked with a few Beauxbatons students, and I gotta tell you, I've always loved France." He said winking at me, a smirk founding it's way to his lips, and I rolled my eyes, shaking my head at his sentence.

"Well, that's lovely." I said sarcastically. "I bet they liked you very much." I said amusingly, with a hint of sarcasm in my voice as I knew my sentence would upset him.

"Are you being sarcastic right now?" Matthew asked, almost sounding like a affirmation rather than a question.

"Hmmm let me see..." I said sarcastically, humming like if I was looking for an answer. "Yes, I'm definitely being sarcastic." I said smirking.

"Lara, sometimes I ask why are we friends." He said amusingly, and I raised an eyebrow at him, while still smirking. "Anyways, what's your first class now?" He asked, passing a hand through his brown hair, crossing his arms in front of his chest, and straightened his position, being now facing the fireplace.

"Defense Against the Dark Arts." I said softly, wetting my lips with my tongue. "With neither more nor less than Mad-Eye Moody himself." I said amusingly. "How fun." I said sarcastically, letting out a heavy breath.

"Oh yeah that's right, Mad-Eye Moody is our new teacher. Well, tell me how crazy he is after your class so I know what will I have to face." He said vaguely, and stood up from the couch.

"Yeah, yeah, you wish." I said, not moving my bodie from the couch.

"Good luck!" Matthew shouted from behind me, his voice already far away from where I was currently sat.

{☆~☆}

"Alastor Moody." Mad-Eye Moody said firmly after everybody sat down in the chairs.

I was sat on the middle tables with Charlotte by my side, like we usually do in all classes. In front of me was Draco Malfoy, with Goyle on his side, he was whispering something to his ear, which made him laugh, and pointed at Harry.

"Ex - Auror. Ministry malcontent. And your new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. I'm here because Dumbledore asked me, end of the story, goodbye, the end." He said firmly, after writing down his name on the chalkboard. "Any questions?" He's gaze went through all the students looking for someone who may have a question, but none said anything, as we were all still examinating our new teacher.

"When it comes to the Dark Arts, I believe in a pratical approach, but first which one of you can tell me, how many Unforgivable Curses there are?" Everybody was the quiet they could be, probably fearing this new teacher.

"Three, sir." Hermione answered to his question, nervously.

"And they are so named..." He turned around and started writing on the chalkboard again.

"The use of any one of them will..." Hermione answered but he completed the sentence himself.

"...Will earn you a one-way ticket to Azkaban, correct." He said firmly, while finishing writing on the chalkboard.

"Now the Ministry says you're too young to see what these curses do..." He turned around at us, speaking firmly. "I say different!" He shouted making us jump at the sudden change of tone. "You need to know, what you're up against!" He turned yo his back again, writing on the chalkboard once more.

"You need to be prepared! You need to find another place to put your chewing gum besides the other side of your desk, Mr. Finnigan!" He shouted, and we all turned around, staring at Seamus Finnigan, a Gryfindor, who murmured something I couldn't quite hear.

Suddenly, Moody, throwed the chalk, missing Seamus head by mere inches if he hadn't move to the side. "And hear across classrooms!" He shouted, now turned at us again.

"So..." He walked closer to the tables. "Which curse shall we see first?" He asked firmly, and then turned his gaze at Ron, who was sit besides Harry. "Weasley!" He shouted catching his attention.

"Yes?" He replied nervously, and Moody told him to stand on his feet, which he slowly did.

"Give us a curse." Moody asked Ron.

"Well..." Ron cleared his throat. "My dad did told me about one...the Imperius Curse." Ron said nervously while looking at Moody.

"Oh yeah, your father would know all about that, give the Ministry quite a bit of grief a few years ago." He said softly, slowly turning around to his desk. "Perhaps this will show you why." Moody walked towards his desk that was full of different jars and cages that contained lots of creatures and insects.

He opened one of the jars, and took out a small insect to his palm, and pointed his wand towards it.

"Engorgio." He shouted at the insect, multiplying his original size. "Imperio!" He shouted at the big insect, a different kind spider to be more precise, taking now control over it.

The spider followed every movement of his wand, he pointed it to the desks, scaring the students, while all of us were watching him carefully.

After that, he placed the spider on top of Crabbe face, making me and Charlotte let out small laughs, at his reaction, almost crying to see the spider crawling in his head.

"Don't worry, it's completely harmless." Moody said softy, and then pointed his wand to other desk, while all the class was already laughing, even Moody.

Then Moody, placed the spider on the top of Ron's head, letting it float there before completely placing it there. "If she bites...she's letal." He let out a laugh after putting the spider on Ron's head, and he barley cried of fear.

Draco, who was in front of me, was laughing loudly at seeing Ron's behavior to the spider, and Goyle's as well.

"What are you laughing at?" Moody asked firmly at Draco, who was dying in laugh, and then placed the spider on top of him.

Draco started shaking and turned to Goyle demanding him to take the spider off his face, while Goyle was trying to take it off without even touching it, and Draco even slapped his own face in a try to take it off, and continued hitting Goyle yelling to him take it out of his face.

"Talented isn't she?" Moody asked, also laughing extremely loud at Draco, as everybody else in the classroom as well. "What should I have her to do next? Jump out the window?!" He pointed his wand towards the window, making the spider move towards there and our gazes as well. "Drown herself?" The spider was now pairing and floating above a bucket full of water, as he kept it still and then flew it back to his palm.

Everybody straightened their positions, looking at the front to where Moody stood, not laughing anymore, and the quiet instaled in the room.

"Scores of witches and wizards, have claimed that they only did, You-Know-Who's bidding, under the influence of the Imperius Curse, but here's the rub - how do we sort out the liars?" His gaze was looking between all the students, looking for someone to say something of the next following curse.

A lot of students started raising their hands, but Moody's gaze stopped at Neville, a Gryfindor, who was hesitant in raising his hand. "Longbottom is it?" Neville nodded his head and slowly stood up from his chair.

"There's the...hmmm..." Neville cleared his throat before speaking again. "The Cruciatus curse." He answered to Moody nervously.

"Correct! Correct!" Moody said firmly. "Come." He gestured with his wand for Neville to step foward on his desk.

They both stood around Moody's desk, and he placed the spider on top of the desk, all of our gazes focused on it. "The torture curse." Moody said, and pointed his wand towards the spider.

"Crucio!" He shouted at the spider.

The spider started squealing and twisting herself in an unimaginable pain, highly difficult to watch it, the screams and squealing coming from a tiny little creature, echoed in my ears like sharp knives.

I saw Neville being bothered about that as well, he's features showed it, he was closing his eyes trying not to watch the poor creature in suffering, but the squealing echoed in his ears as well, clearly bothered about being so close to it.

"Stop it! Can't you see it's bothering him? Stop it!" Hermione yelled nervously, also watching Neville's concerned features, as he was the one being tortured.

Moody looked at Hermione and then at Neville, and released the curse from the spider, and the squealing stopped, he took it to his palm again, and slowly walked towards Hermione desk, placing the spider on top of her desk.

"Perhaps you could give us the last Unforgivable Curse Miss Granger." Hermione was holding her crying, as she knew, like all of us did, what was the last curse, however, she shaked her head in denial.

"Avada Kedavra!" Moody shouted at the spider, a green flash appearing on the wand, hitting the spider, killing it.

"The killing curse. Only one person is known to have survived it, and it's sitting in this room." Moody went from Hermione's desk to where Harry was sit, and looked down at him, not saying anything, but taking a sip from his bottle.

"Class dismissed!" Moody said, and we imediatly picked up our things, stepping out of classroom.

"Did you saw that, I mean, he's got a lot of experience with those curses and it's a different kind of teacher but, teaching it in classes..." Charlotte said vaguely, as we climbed the stairs down.

"Well, half of the Azkaban prisons are filled because of him, he must know what he's doing." I said as we walked down, directing ourselves to the Great Hall.

"It's terrifying being near him, but can't lie he seems quite an brilliant teacher. Insane, but brilliant." Charlotte said softly, looking down at the stairs.

"Something wrong Longbottom!" We turned our gazes at our front, stopping our tracks, to see Neville, looking out the window, his features sad as he did so, and Draco, gossiping with Crabbe, Goyle, Pansy and Blaise about that, laughing of him, while he whispered something to them.

"Dear Longbottom, can't support a simple Defense Against the Dark Arts class, what a pity." Draco said sarcastically, laughing of him with his friends. "What? Is Longbottom about to cry." He laughed, and gave a high five at Crabbe and Goyle, and turned, to walk away, from him.

"Do you see, Malfoy is a terrible person, just like I said." Me and Charlotte started walking down the stairs again, my gaze still concerned about Neville. "He doesn't have a heart or empathy for anyone but himself." Charlotte said firmly but I did replied anything to that, probably already assuming she was right.

{☆~☆}

The classes went on as usually, nothing new about that and so was lunch, in the end of the day, me and Charlotte relaxed on our dorm, we were the only ones in it, sharing the same one.

I was layed in my bed, looking at the window, watching the black lake, and all the different creatures in it, as Charlotte was just finishing unpacking as she didn't had time yesterday.

"Hey, Char, I think I'm going to the Slytherin common room, see if I can find Matthew or something." I said softly, standing up from the bed, and she nodded slightly.

It was just an old excuse, I was just bored and wanted to take a walk, I knew that Matthew would probably be in his dorm, but I didn't really wanted to bothered him.

As I stepped on the common room, I saw a blonde head, as I imediatly recognized as being the Malfoy hair, leaving it.

I don't know what made me do it, but I followed him, and quickly, but silently stepped out of the room, before the door closed, and hidded in a corner of the hallway not to be seen.

He didn't noticed me, a significant inches behind him, I walked slowly, hiding myself in a few corners, so he wouldn't see me, wondering where was he going, and without his, friends, stalking him wherever he goes.

I stopped my tracks, and hide myself when saw him slowing down his pace, to climb the stairs that leaded to the Astronomy Tower.

I waited a few seconds giving him time to climb, so I could do the same and climb as well, making sure he wouldn't hear me.

I climbed, the stairs in a spiral form, the quiet I could be, always looking up to see if I could see him also climbing, but it seems he had already reached the top.

Once I climbed all the way up, I saw him, sat, letting his legs fall down the rail of the Tower, his hairs perfectly divided, flying with the calm wind, and being illuminated by the moonlight.

He didn't noticed my presence, as my mind was searching dor ways to approach him, without looking odd.

"Hmmm...Good evening..." I said softly, but he jumped out of scared, obviously not expecting someone to appear.

"What are you doing here?!" He asked abruptly, furrowing his eyebrowns.

"Nothing of your business. " I said awkwardly, not wanting to admit that the only reason of me being here is because I followed him.

He looked down at me, and then turned to the front again, facing the landscape, and I sat besides him, waiting for him to say something.

"...And you, why are you here." I asked after some moments of looking at the beautiful dark sky, full of stars and the stunning and bright moon.

"Nothing of your business." He answered abruptly, not looking at me.

"Why are you so rude?" I asked, ignoring his attitude.

"Why do you make so many questions?" He said sarcastically, finally looking at me, making a disgusting face towards me.

"I was just, making a simple conversation between us, for Merlin." I said firmly, giving him a thin smile.

"Well, if you shut up it would be way better." He said firmly, looking at the sky again. "Who are you anyways?" He asked carelessly.

"Blackwell. Lara Blackwell." I said softly, also focusing on the sky full of the stars again.

"Ah the Blackwells, ah yes I know you from my mother's Christmas party." He said coldly, still not looking at me.

"And you are..." He let out a sarcastic giggle as like if making fun of my question.

"Like if you don't know who I am...I'm Malfoy. Draco Malfoy." He said proudly like if he had just said something really important.

"Well, Draco Malfoy, why are you here at this time of the night?" I asked softly, a smile on my lips.

"Well, Lara Blackwell, why don't you shut up with your questionary, so I can avoid you and pretend you're not here?" He asked, with a hint of annoyance in his voice.

"Whatever." I rolled my eyes at his sentence.

I didn't said anything else for a few more moments, as we slowly watched the astonishing landscape before our eyes, I've been here many times before, but none of them ar this time of the day, it was quite fascinating, and relaxing to watch.

I don't know what made me stay here, I was a bit annoyed as well by his attitude, but, I gotta admit the landscape persuades anyone, it's quite astonishing, so I stayed.

I turned my gaze at him, examinating his features carefully, his grey eyes shining with the moonlight, his hair flying with the wind, he didn't looked like what people say he is, he looked like a beautiful angel fallen from the sky, smooth skin, beautiful eyes, I wonder what made him be such a distant person.

"Do you come here often?" I asked softly, turning my gaze at the landscape again.

"Okay, You know what, I need to rest." He said firmly, standing up, and walking away, not saying another word towards me, leaving me there, sat alone in the Tower.
