"Who's this guy in your life?" A cold voice said from behind me.

I turned back to find Gouenji with a very cold and what I guess is a pissed face. Why is he so pissed?

"None! No one's there in my life." He will so much more pissed if he knows that the guy she is talking about is him. I mean she just implied that Dannon is Gouenji's and my baby. Why is he so pissed anyway?

"Gouenji?" Lillian said surprised.

"You know him?" I asked her surprised.

"She is my brother's friend."

"Really?" This is a really small world.

"Lilly?" Kidou said.

"Brother?" Lillian said surprised.

"What are you doing here?" Kidou asked.

"Wait a second! He is your brother?"

"Yes."

"Your own biological brother?"

"Yes."

This is a little too much to be true. I mean what is the probability that your best friend is your current friend's sister?

"You don't know where your brother studies? You are surprised to find him in the college he studies?" I asked. This is so very confusing. Is something going on behind my back?

"I know. I just forgot at the moment. You told me you were going to New York but I never really paid attention to where you were studying. What is the chance that you actually knew my brother? This is a big college and knowing you, you would immerse yourselves in books living in your world."

"Well, that is true. The credit of dragging her from her own world belongs to me." Aram said.

"You are?"

"Aram. The one who helped get these many friends."

"So you do agree that you pushed me into trouble to get publicity for truth machine?" I asked narrowing my eyes at him. He dug his very own grave.

"Umm, no! You have to see the bright side. You got some good friends and popularity that you can never imagine."

"I agree that I got good friends and I am thankful for that but the 'popularity' as you say is not needed. I don't want people watching my every move."

"Looks like I missed a big story."

"Yes, you did." Aram said smiling cheekily.

Ring! Ring!Ring!

"There goes the lunch bell. We need to go." Aram said and went in along with Daniel and Robert.

"You guys are not going?" I asked Kidou and Gouenji since they showed no intention of going back to the classes.

"We have the same classes together so that means we too have one period after the lunch. I decided to bunk too since my sister visited me after a long time."

"Hey! If you really missed your sister you could come and visit too." Lillian said glaring at her brother playfully.

"Sorry my bad! I was busy! But anyways you came to see me. Your brother is so happy." Kidou answered smiling sheepishly.

"Technically your sister came to visit me, not you. You just happened to be here." I couldn't help but point out the obvious fact.

"Hey! That's true. The minute you landed here you called her, not your brother." Kidou protested now glaring at his sister.

"I am sorry but she is more important to me than my brother who never has time for me! She always has time for me and never ignores me. I might as well give you up and make her my sister." Lillian answered cheekily.

"I always have time for you." I replied smiling at Lillian and we shared a side hug this time keeping in mind baby Dannon.

"Uh huh!" She hummed.

"Hey! I am just busy with studies and business." Kidou defended himself with what seemed like lame reasons to me. "By the way how are you two friends? She is two years younger than you."

"She is my super junior in school. You sister is so cheeky. I always have to look out for her."

"What is this guy you were talking about when you came in?" Gouenji interrupted still not letting go of the guy topic.

"Nothing!" I said immediately. Are you not going to leave that topic? You will have a heart attack if you know the truth.

"There is something by the way you are denying. What is it sis?" KIdou interfered. Can't these guys keep quiet for sometime? They are obviously planning my demise.

"Oh! Hannah was saying about some guy who helped her at her Grand pa's funeral and when she had an accident." I winced."She said he took great care of her and I wanted to know since she was always not interested in dating. Hannah tried setting her up with many guys but she always ignored them. Most of the times she is always too oblivious to know who is trying to hit on her."

"Hey! I am not!"

"Yes, you are." Kidou supported her and I glared at him. Brother and sister are teaming up against me.

"She is way too oblivious for her own good. She friend zones the good guys making them unable to approach her. The bad ones are always the one who asks her and she turns them down flatly and mind you very coldly. Just a single word and they never have the heart to approach her. She is even called Ice-Queen."

"I didn't know that."

"You never know!" By the way why wasn't I informed about the accident?" She folded her arms and demanded the answer

"That's a minor one." I said sheepishly.

"No, it's not! You were unconscious for an entire day. She had a mild concussion and a fractured hand." Gouenji replied.

"How is it that you are involved in an accident? You were always careful."

"It just happens sometimes." I said trying to avoid this topic. The deeper we go, the more scolding I get.

"She is being modest. She tried saving a guy, Daniel who was here with us before, from being hit by a truck and got hit herself." Kidou answered for me.

"So who's this guy that helped you? Hannah told me so much about him." I face palmed myself. She never forgets and what's more she is asking me about it in front of the very guy! Mom! Why can't you stay silent?

"That would be our Gouenji." Kidou said showing him.

"What?" She exclaimed very shocked. "Are you serious? Gouenji did that? He never even acknowledges a girl!"

"Yes, he did." Kidou said gleeful and I don't think I need to mention but Gouenji has his usual I-don't-care face. It is exdpected of him but I thought he would be pissed. Why is he not pissed?

"Super! Guy hating girl and girl hating guy together!"

"First of all I don't hate hate guys! I just don't date! And secondly you know my mom she is exaggerating."

"Hey! That's enough of ignoring me! If you guys don't remember I am also here." Fidio interrupted. To be truthful I forgot about his presence.

"Fidio? You are here too?"

"Thank you for recognizing my presence!" Fidio whined.

"Sorry!" Lillian blushed lightly. Is it out of embarrassment or.......

"Since none of you show any interest in going back to classes, I say why don't we go home and talk there?" KIdou asked.

"Okay, let us go home." Fidio answered.

"I am also coming. I am not going to entrust Dannon to you again." I said glaring at him.

"Hey! You said that you just forgave me!"

"I did but I didn't forget what you did. You might forget about him again."

"Hey! I am not like that. I can be trusted."

"Yes he can be trusted." Lillian supported him.

"Thank you." Fidio shot her a wink earning a blush from her. My jaw dropped open.

"He is the one!" I said in surprise and Lillian elbowed me.

"What?" Fidio asked and Lillian answered it was nothing.

Lillian has crush on him! This pervert and play boy! How can she like him? I won't agree. She will just have her heart broken! I mean he can be much more than what I am currently seeing but is it all worth it to fight for him and get hurt? Will he change his playboy ways for her? Something tells me that he knows what is going on but feigning ignorance for some reason. I was never wrong about these things.

We all got into the cars to go back home. Kidou went with Fidio; Lillian and I sat in the backseat of Gouenji's car.

"So this little kiddo is really my nephew."

"Yes, he is."

"Don't tell me! You are the mother!"

I hit her on the head.

"Have you gone crazy? When was I pregnant and gave birth to a 10 month old guy?"

"That's true. I am sorry."

"Don't say whatever that comes into your mind. Think about it first! Wait! You don't know who is your nephew's mother?" I asked bewildered.

"No, I don't. I know my brother had a long time girlfriend but had some clash with her two years back and then he turned into this playboy. One day he said he has a son. We don't know who his mother is. I mean at least I don't. There were so many complicated issues behind it. I never questioned it. I left it to my parents." She shrugged. She sure is strange. If I was in her position I will never sleep before I can know everything about my brother and my nephew, such a cute one at that too. He fell asleep in my arms by the way somewhere in our conversation. I rubbed his back softly all the while during our conversation and I guess he fell asleep feeling warm.

We reached Gouenji's home soon enough and got out. Richard was there at home to greet us when we went in.

"Lillian! Long time no see!" He said hugging her.

"It's nice to see you too uncle."

"Destiny! I told you I will see you soon. What did you say?" he said laughing.

"I am here because of this kiddo." I said pointing at sleeping Dannon.

At first he was rather shocked to see Dannon with me.

"So that is where Fidio took him." Richard said.

"Yes and he left him." I answered

"For god's sake! Can't you please forget that?"Fidio said appearing behind me. Guess he came in just now. "It was just a one time mistake." Fidio whined.

"Nope! Not a chance."

"He slept in your arms?" Richard asked interrupting our banter.

"Yeah, I guess he felt sleepy." I said shrugging.

"He never sleeps without making a fuss. That's a wonder. May be he got attached to you."

"Yeah, he was smiling too." Kidou added.

"What do you mean?" I asked them bewildered.

"He never smiled at us."

"He never smiled?" I asked surprised.

"Yes, we don't know why but he never smiles. No matter how many toys I buy or what I do. He was always expressionless. Today is the first time I saw him act happy just like a kid should." Kidou answered. I rubbed his sleeping head a little confused. Dannon never simled? I wonder why? When I think about it deeply the first time I saw him crawling he had an expressionless face. Even when he was stepped on he never cried. Normally babies would cry very loudly at that! Even when he cried when I lifted him he just sobbed silently. What happened to make him turn like this? He turned expressionless at Aram and Lillian too.

"He's happy in your presence." Richard said and I nodded thinking deeply. I want to protect him from whatever it is!

"I want you to be his babysitter." Gouenji said appearing out of nowhere and his voice made me jump in shock. He disappeared to who knows where when we arrived.

"What do you mean?" I asked him after I calmed myself.

"You stopped going to your part-time job after your injury and don't know whether they still have a place for you. Dannon is attached to you for whatever reason it is. So stay in our house and look after him. We will pay you ten times your part time job."

"So you are asking to be a stay-in-home nanny." I asked to clarify.

"You can attend the college and everything is normal except you take care of him and stay with us." He answered as it is a piece of cake.

"That is not a small issue. To stay in someone else' home I have to take my parents permission." I protested.

"Already done. I talked to your parents just now and they said if a baby can stay happy by you staying with him they said they have no problem with that." My jaw dropped open at this.

Master is always ten steps ahead. This is my dream job too. Part time worker as a nanny and I love Dannon more than other kids and he seemed to be happy in my presence so I don't mind but what is my mom thinking agreeing immediately for me to stay in a guy's house? My mom is really crazy!

"Is it okay if I stay in your home?"

"We have no problem with that!" Everyone said.

"Okay! I love staying with Dannon. You need not pay me ten times. Just me the normal amount I get at my part time job."

"We can't do that! You are going to spend all the time except at college caring for him." Richard protested.

"I like it, moreover I am going to stay here that means you are providing with a place to stay and food to eat."

"That's our need. We can't give you less amount for taking care of Dannon." This time Kidou answered.

"But.."

"You will also get bonus and increment monthly!" Gouenji added.

Wow! That's too much. Looks like the whole family is fixed on this. They won't give this much anywhere! I might as well stop looking for job and settle here permanently.

"Well, if you have that much money to give I won't reject you!" I said dryly. "I need some time. I need to tell my landowner about it and shifting.."

"That is done too. I bought your apartment and so I am the owner now. We will get your luggage moved here whenever you want. If you don't want to be the babysitter anymore you are free to go back to your apartment and stay for free as long as you like. No objections or no reasons would be asked." Gouenji finished.

How much ahead are you master? You prove minute by minute that you are really a master!

"So we are going to stay together." Lillian cheered.

"You are staying here?" Kidou asked.

"Yes, I am going to continue my education here in New York. Mom didn't tell you?"

"She did but I never thought you would stay here."

"Yes, I thought of staying with you for the mean time and then move in together with Destiny after we get a place big enough for both of us. But now she is staying here and so am I. Can't I, uncle?" Lillian said using her puppy dog eyes.

"Yes, you can." Richard gave the green signal and Lillian cheered.

"I am staying here too." Fidio announced.

"You are? How come I wasn't informed before?" Gouenji asked.

"Because I decided just now! How can I stay away when all of you are staying together and having fun? Besides things are looking interesting here." Fidio said casting a look at Gouenji.

I wonder how things will turn out from now! Before I had to see Gouenji only at college, after a few day by 3 a.m. in the morning because of exercise and now I am staying in his house and have to see him 24/7 entirely. I wonder where life is taking me! Let us see as life unfolds itself with time.
