KIMBERLY'S  POV

Today is Sunday. It's currently 7 am. I was having my happy sleep, well, I was having a dream about Jack and that was the reason of my happiness, but let's keep that part a secret. Where was I? Yeah, I was having my happy sleep, when a notification woke me up. I was a little mad, but I looked at it anyway. My madness faded away when I saw it was from Jack. It said "Heyyy Kimmy🤪 me and the boys have a free day and we were wondering if you Pete and Brooke want to ummmm go on a road trip today". I replied "good morning Jackieboy... and about the trip... I'd love to! Just keep in mind I'm still in my bed :P". "Well... we came up with this idea yesterday and Peter already agreed... Brooke is now typing aaand what I'm trying to say is get ready because we're gonna be in front of your house in 30 minutes... we're taking ours an Peter's car... see ya". I feel like I'm going to kill them! I have to rush and Peter hasn't told me a word! I feel like I should jump in the shower. I crawled out of bed and got in the shower. I washed my hair yesterday before sleep, so I'll be fast now. I don't have any time, so as I was showering, I thought about my outfit. I'm not going to do much. I think it'll be best if I just take white T-shirt, white hoodie, and black leggings. I got dressed so fast, I never knew I could be that fast tho. I put the outfit I thought about in the shower. Now I had to prepare my backpack. I took a really light blue backpack. I put water, little emergency kit, my AirPods, power bank, and a map, just because I want to be prepared for everything, ya know. I looked at the time and now it was 7:20 am. I went and knocked on Peter's door. He looked like he was ready too. "Hey Pete, and what about mom and dad? Do they know about the trip or not?" "Yeah, yesterday I asked them." "How did you know that me and Brooke are gonna agree?" "I didn't know for sure, but we all expected you'll agree." "Oh, okay, are you ready?" "Yeah, you?" "Yep. Shall we go now?" "I think it'd be a good idea if we told our parents we're leaving. Or you're going to keep your life a secret from them, sis?" I laughed and we headed to their room. They were sleeping, so we left a note that said "me and Kimmy are leaving, we're going on the road trip I told you about. Have fun without us, love you," and we both signed it. Jack told me they're going to be here in a minute, so we went to put our shoes on. I picked my low white AF1's.

Me and Peter got into his car and I got a message that the boys and Brooke are here. I also got a message that Jack and Trevor are coming in Peter's car. Now Peter was driving, Trevor was on the passenger seat, and I was with Jack on the backseat. "So where are we going?" I asked. "That's a secret I'll never tell, only the boys can know that," Peter smirked at me in the mirror. "So Brooke doesn't know either?" "Yeah," Trevor replied. At least I'm not the only one. Trevor put some music on and we sang as loud as we could. We got tired after like 40 minutes of loud singing. "Hey Pete, since you can't tell me where we're going, can you at least tell me how long will it take to get to the final point?" "Yeah, around hour and 30 or 40 minutes." Hmm, we've been traveling for around 40 minutes, and when it'll take hour and a half more, the place should be around 2 hours and like 10 minutes from home. With this speed, it's around 100 miles. Where the heck are we going? Never mind, I'm gonna trust them, I'm sure they picked a nice place. I sat for a while more, not doing anything, when I realized I can take my shoes off and lay. When I started untying my ties, Jack looked at me and said, "you like the AF1's too? I literally love them. I have like 4 different pairs of them." "Yeah, I like them too! I also have like 3 pairs of them and I think about getting more." "Yeah, you should," he laughed. After that I took my shoes off and crossed my legs in a lotus position. "Do you really want to sit like that for more than an hour? Your legs are gonna be dead," Jack commented "Well, how do you want to sit when you don't have a lot of space?" "I know how I would sit if I was you." "Really? How?" "Well, I would turn to this side," he turned me and he was facing my back, "then I would move backwards," he pulled me to him, "and I would rest like this with my stretched legs. You're welcome," he smiled afterwards and hugged my waist. "Aww, that was cute, Jackieboy. But are you sure you're gonna be fine with me laying on you for an hour or more?" "Yeah, if it's you I don't mind," he smiled. "Eww, stop being mushy, that's my sister, I don't wanna see you do things," Peter mumbled. "Chill, Peter, he's just being nice and caring. Don't be a baby." He looked at me in the mirror and we both rolled eyes at each other. After that I took my phone and took a selfie of me laying in Jack's arms. It turned out really cute, so I set it as my lock screen. "Send me this picture, I want to make it my lock screen too." I sent him the picture and I saw that he had me as "Kimmy❤️" in his contacts. Aww, he put a red heart, that's so sweet. I felt a smile on my face, I didn't know if it's because of the position we were into, or because of the red heart. It's probably because I'm thinking of him. He makes me so happy.

JACK'S  POV

She took a picture of us hugging. It was cute. I think she thought so too, because she set it as her lock screen. "Send me this picture, I want to make it my lock screen too." After my words she sent me the photo. Oops, a notification popped up and she saw that I had her as "Kimmy❤️" in my contacts. Is there a possibility that she didn't see? I don't think so, it was in front of her face. Anyway, I couldn't stop smiling. I felt my face was so hot. My cheeks are probably red. I think that the best way I can make sure she doesn't see me is if I hold her tighter. I did it, and I'm hugging her in a way that she can't turn around. "Hey guys," Peter spoke, "Mat has free time and he wants to FaceTime, do you want to?" "Who's Mat?" Me and Trevor asked in one voice. "It's Peter's best friend," Kim explained. "Okay, let's call him," I agreed.

PETER'S  POV

I texted Mat that I'm with Kim and two other hockey dudes and he didn't mind. He wants to know the people me and especially Kim are spending so much time with. The boys didn't mind either, so I called him. "Hey Mat. Before you say anything I'm going to introduce you Jack and Trevor. And Jack and Trevor this is my best friend Math-" I got interrupted by Trevor. He was loud. "That's Mathew Barzal. That's really Mathew Barzal. And you Peter, you couldn't tell us that Mat is Mathew Barzal." Mat started laughing at his reaction. "Hi Trevor, hi Jack, hi Kimmy." "Oh, hey Mat, how're you doing?" Kim asked him. "I'm fine, everything is going well, I have nothing to complain about. And what about you, how is your life going?" "Everything is normal, I do my school and then hang out with friends. Oh, and one more thing. Brooke has a boyfriend. Now I'm the single one." "Really? Who?" "A guy from their team," she pointed at Jack and Trevor, "his name is Alex. They look happy together, so I'm happy for them." Mat was quiet for a few seconds. He looked like he was thinking about something. He was also looking somewhere else. I think he's looking at me. I don't think Kim noticed that. At least I hope she didn't notice. "Hey guys, it looks like Connor is bored. Can I call him too?" Kim asked. "Yeah, please. I haven't heard him in ages," Mat shared. "Wait, like McDavid?" Jack asked. She didn't even repspond.

KIMBERLY'S  POV

I didn't say anything to Jack, because he was going to find out in a second. "Hi Kimmy, hi Peter, aaaand-" "Yeah, Connor, this is Trevor, Jack, and you can't see him, but we're on FaceTime with Mat," I explained pointing at each of them. "Hey Trevor, hi Jack, and hi Mat." "Hey," they all said in one voice. We started talking. At first, Trevor and Jack weren't saying anything, but after some time they started chilling more and talking with Mat and Connor normally. We talked for about an hour before they had to go. "Holy shit, we just FaceTimed with Connor McDavid and Mathew Barzal," Jack exclaimed. We laughed at his words. Now we were close to the final destination. "We're going to be there in around 15 minutes," my brother explained, "you can start putting your shoes on, packing things, and ya know, getting ready to bungee jump." "What? Is the cool thing bungee jumping? I'm not going there. I'm not going to jump off a cliff. Peter, turn the car back around, we're going home." Everyone started laughing at my words. "Why are y'all laughing?" I asked them. "I was just joking. We'll be staying on the ground." Peter laughed. "Oh, okay. But if you're lying now, you don't wanna know what's gonna happen to you. And remember we have Brooke with us, and you've seen mad Brooke before. It's a nightmare." He looked at me in the mirror and stuck his tongue out. He started parking the car. It was a pretty big parking lot. Quinn parked their car next to ours. The only thing that was telling me where we are was a sign that said "The Garden Maze". I'm gonna kill them.

We got off the car and met with the others. "Hey Kimmy, did they tell you where are we going?" "No. Peter said it's a secret and only boys can know that. And I'm scared, because I don't trust them a lot." The boys rolled eyes at us and Cole asked, "do you want to go first to thing one, thing two, or thing three?" "How are we supposed to choose what we want to do when you're only telling us numbers?" I told him raising my right eyebrow. "Okay. Pete, bungee jumping first," Cole stated. Me and Brooke threw bitch looks at him and he responded with a fake smile. "We reached the final point! The Luray caverns!" Peter announced. "Where are we?" I asked. "Ummm, Virginia," Trevor mumbled. "What the actual fu-" Brooke tried to speak, but I interrupted her. "W-Why V-Virginia? I knew it'll be far, because the drive was long, but that's so far away from home." "Trust us. We know what we're doing. Just, chill," Quinn tried to calm us down. "If we don't get home on time, you'll regret you took us that far," Brooke spoke under her breath. They calmed us down a little more and we headed inside.

"Hi, I'm Christine. I'm going to be around you, just in case you need help or something. Don't worry, I'm not going to bother you. You can pretend I don't exist. Oh, and one more thing. It's around 55°F in there, so take a jacket if you think you're gonna be cold. Enjoy!" In the beginning there was a kinda tiny corridor, so we made pairs. I was with Jack, of course. Trevor and Cole were behind us. Brooke and Alex were third. And Peter and Quinn were last. I was kinda cold, but I didn't want to take a jacket with me, so it's my fault. I had my arms crossed and I think Jack saw it, because he took his denim jacket off and gave it to me. "Here, take it." "You don't have to, Jackieboy. It's my fault I didn't take a jacket." "Yeah, but you don't deserve to be cold." "Maybe. But now I'm gonna think, 'Yeah, I'm not gonna take a jacket, because when I don't, Jack will give me his', you know? And I'm gonna count on you, but you won't be always here and-" He interrupted me, "just take the jacket and listen. I'm always gonna be around you, well, always when it's possible, but you gotta stop overthinking. Like, I told you to take my jacket and you started talking about some fictional times when I'm not around you," he laughed at the end. "Aww, I'll be happy to always have you around me," I smiled. We continued walking. I wasn't paying much attention to the stalactites, I was looking at Jack. One day, he'll be mine, I told myself. "Watch out, Kim," Trevor shouted. I looked in front of me. I got scared for a second and grabbed Jack's wrist. It wasn't scary at all after a few seconds. It was a huge stalactite that was above the path. People are supposed to go around that, but yeah, I was looking at Jack. My mistake. I wasn't scared anymore, but I continued holding Jack's wrist. I guess he noticed, because he shook his arm. I guess he doesn't want me to hold him. I wanted to put my hand into my pocket, but he stopped me by holding my hand. "Sorry, but it's more comfortable like that," he smirked. Aww, my heart. That was so freaking awesome. We were holding hands the whole time. Sometimes, when we were in a bigger room or whatever there are called, I got kinda scared and squeezed his hand. When he felt that. He went behind me and hugged me from behind. It helped every time.

We got out of the cave. "What are we gonna do now?" Brooke questioned. "Well, we planned to go to the maze," Trevor responded. We agreed and went there. The lady that took our money also gave us papers with four squares. "There're 4 goals here. Each goal is a green table with a stamp attached to it. You have to find each table and put the stamp in the square. There's also a watch tower in the middle of the maze. Good luck!" We walked in a group, but then decided to go into pairs. The pairs were the same as the pairs in the cave. Me and Jack started searching for the green table. I thought I found it, but I wasn't sure and it was far, so I told him to wait where he was. That was the biggest mistake I made today. I returned to the place he was supposed to wait, but he wasn't there. Well, at least I thought it's the same place. The place where Jack was waiting had a sign that said "which way? <—->". There wasn't a sign like that. I started worrying and it got even worse. I was on a completely different place I've never seen in my life. I texted Jack and told him not to wait, because I'm lost. He didn't reply anything except a sad emoji. A very thick cloud covered the sun and it got really dark. It was like in the horror movies. I was scared. I started running, because I wanted to get out. Ouch! I bumped into something or someone and fell on the ground. My wrist hurts so bad, and I'm scared to look up.
