Chapter 39: (Olivia's POV)

"Water break!" I yell.

"No," Annabelle growled.

"Water freaking break!" I announced, turning the music off. "Annabelle, you've been making these kids dance around for an hour. Their practice is for 2 hours and if you keep going like this, we're all gonna pass out and die!" I huffed.

"What's it to you? You've just been playing the music," she rolled her eyes.

"I've been watching them holding back tears and screams of exhaustion, sweetheart. Not to mention, I've been dancing with you. They're in elementary school, you can't give them a professional routine," I rolled my eyes. I spun around, sitting on the floor against the mirror once again, sipping on my own water. I looked over, seeing Ethan sitting with all the students.

"How do you know Olivia?" Delilah asked, standing beside him.

"It's a long story," he shrugged, pulling her into his lap.

"Please?" she asked.

He looked up at me before turning back to her. "Miss Olivia," he stared me straight in the eye, "Is my girlfriend."

"Was. She was his girlfriend," Annabelle said, before leaving the room, mumbling something about the bathroom.

I stood up and walked over to them, sitting in front of Ethan. "Am. I am his girlfriend," I grinned.

"But you see, we're acting like she's not in front of Annabelle," Ethan said.

"Why?" they all asked in sync.

We chuckled. "Because Annabelle is-"

"Mean."

"Evil."

"Scary."

"Killing us."

Those were answers of Jack, Delilah, Oscar, and Minnie. Yes, her name is Minnie, don't question it, she's adorable.

"All of the above," I nodded.

"Can we just keep her outside?" Jack groaned. I looked at Ethan, then at the door. She was coming back from the bathroom now. I shot up and ran to the door, twisting the lock.

Her eyes widened and she walked over, trying the handle. "Open the door!" she yelled, her voice coming out muffled.

"I don't support child abuse," I shrugged in response.

"All my stuff is in there!" she shrieked.

"Should we let her in?" Ethan asked.

"No!" they all yelled.

"You can come get your stuff later. Class is session," I grinned. All the kids stood up and I connected my phone again, finding the most random, upbeat music I could find. "Run around, dance however you want, that's your class for today," I laughed while sitting down. They all started running around again, dancing to their own beats, I saw Jack and Delilah holding hands and spinning around in circles. Little kids are meant to have fun, not be tortured in the name of dance rehearsals.

Ethan came and sat beside me, a little sweaty like the rest of the kids here. "Hi," he smiled.

"She's still watching," I said, looking away from him, pulling my smile down, and folding my arms across my chest.

"I don't care anymore," he said before grabbing my face and turning it to him, planting his lips on mine. A series of cheers and claps echoed throughout the room. I laughed, pulling away from him and turning to the kids. Delilah came running over, squeezing me in a tight hug. I laughed, hugging her back before all the kids ran towards us, doing the same.

Once we ended the group hug, I turned to the kids. "Anyone of you wanna go home early?"

"Yeah!" they all yelled in unison.

**✿❀○❀✿**

"That was the most fun I've had with little kids ever," I laughed as we climbed into his car.

"Oh god, I know," he let out an airy laugh, "Those kids were adorable."

"How did you get there anyway?" I asked, turning to him.

"I skipped math," he shrugged.

"No, you didn't," I looked at him in shock.

"Yeah, I didn't. I skipped AP math," he replied.

"Ethan, why?" I laughed, "This wasn't that important."

"Yeah, it was. You asked me to be there, of course, I was going to be there," he chuckled. I stared at him with a smile tugging at my lips. "What?" he asked.

I leaned forward, pressing my lips to his, jumping and pulling away when my door was yanked open.

We both looked my way where Justin stood, fuming. "What the hell are you doing?" he glared at me.

"What did I- ow! Justin!" I yelled when he grabbed my arm and pulled me out of the car. "What the hell is wrong with you?!" I yelled, pulling myself out of his grip and taking steps away from him. Ethan came out of the car and walked over to my side, standing beside me.

"H..." Justin did not know what to say. "How the hell are you still with her? After she kissed me?! After she cheated on you!" Justin yelled at Ethan.

"She didn't cheat on me," Ethan shook his head.

"What are you talking about? You walked in on us kissing!" Justin yelled as Annabelle made her way over, seemingly confused. She halted in her steps when she heard Justin's words.

"Come again," Ethan said.

"You walked in on me and Olivia kissing! How the fuck are you still sticking with her?!" Justin groaned.

I almost felt sorry for Annabelle.

Almost. But not quite.

She did cheat on Ethan and she did take part in helping Justin.

"She didn't kiss you," Ethan said calmly. Justin stared at him in disbelief. "You kissed her. Forcefully. Without her permission and against her will," Ethan said.

"She kissed me, Ethan! I don't know what lies she fed you!" Justin shot daggers at me.

"She didn't tell me anything, Daniel did. Way before you followed her into the bathroom. Way before I walked in there," Ethan shrugged.

Justin paled. He literally paled.

"He told me everything. Your whole plan. How you wanted him to convince me that Olivia had been cheating on me with you this entire time. How you wanted me to walk into the bathroom and see you two kissing. How you didn't even tell Annabelle about this. If anything Justin, you cheated on her. On Annabelle," Ethan explained.

I watched her for a reaction but she didn't have any.

"And anyway, it's not possible that Olivia cheated on me since the beginning of our relationship," he glanced at me.

"Why not?" Justin questioned.

"Because when we started off, we weren't even really together," Ethan shrugged, "It was just pretend."

I pulled my lips into a thin line, keeping in a laugh.

"You see, when she saw you at that party. The one Mr. Thomas was hosting, she didn't have a boyfriend like she said she did. She was single. But she lied to you, maybe just to get on your nerve, who doesn't do that for an ex? But then, thank god, you asked her who it was if he was there, and you said you wanted to meet him."

Ethan took a step closer to Justin.

"And I was the first guy she saw. She hated my guts, at least she acted like she did, but I was the one she chose. And she made me her boyfriend. Out of the blue."

Justin was shocked, to say the least, and Annabelle was still listening in from afar.

"She hated you enough to put her hateful facade aside when it came to me and she made me her boyfriend. She introduced me as her boyfriend. And the icing on the cake," he glanced at Annabelle, "Your girlfriend, Annabelle, happened to be my ex-girlfriend who cheated on me. Why would I give up an opportunity to get back at her? I know she never admitted it, she always just fed me bullshit about how I didn't love her enough. But was she wrong? No, cause I didn't love her. I'm glad I didn't though. If I did, I wouldn't have found Olivia," Ethan shrugged.

"We made an entire fake relationship just to get back at you two, and it's the best thing we've ever done. Because we really fell in love. We really fell in love. And you two..."

Justin finally turned around and saw Annabelle, his eyes closing while he bowed his head down to the floor.

"You were really together but never in love. But that's between you two, I won't interfere." Ethan was angry. He was so, so angry. I grabbed onto his hand, just so he wouldn't swing at him. "Just one more thing," Ethan sighed, "Don't touch her ever again, or I swear to God, Justin..." Ethan trailed off, shaking his head lightly.

I looked at Justin with a scrutinizing gaze. He deserves at least one punch. And so I let go of Ethan's hand. Ethan looked at me, raising his eyebrows slightly. I shrugged before climbing back into the car.

And so Ethan did punch him. Hard. Justin stumbled, grabbing onto his jaw. Ethan let out a breath, his shoulders relaxing before he turned and climbed into the car.

He started the car right away and started driving us back. He was still angry, I could tell.

So I didn't utter one word. Not one. Not until we reached back home.
