Ishita's smile dropped as her son, Aditya entered car with a sour face. She had thought, he would be radiating with happiness; afterall today was his last exam.

She slowly drove the bright red car out of the school premises. The ride back home was silent, but not her poor heart neither her brain.

One was thinking about all possible bad things that could happen with her 15 year old and other beating crazily thinking about the impact at his young mind.

Ishita somehow managed to reach the society compound safetly even with all havoc.

Ishita metally thanked the Murugan as a silent home welcomed them both. Without any notes, she knew her 6 yrs old must have taken her grandparents to buy something for her brother.

She is thoughtful like that, she could feel her heart swelling with pride. Shaking her head softly as if asking herself to conentrate on her son for now, she poured herself a glass of water.

"Amma" Ishita mentally prepared herself for worse because she knew her kids.

Eventhough Ishima will be always special for them(all three Ishita, Adi, Ruhi), Amma was something what theyย  preserved for special ocassions, either best or worst.

And today just had to be worst, she could already feel it.

"Amma!" She mentally smacked herself for joning out.

She hmmed as answer not exactly knowing how to respond.

"Agar mai aap ko kuch kahu tho kya aap bhi mujhe judge karoge?" She somehow composed herself.
(Will you also judge me if I tell you something?)

Pulling him softly toward herself, she engluffed him in her warm arms.

"Ofcourse no, baby." She whispered.

"Amma-Amma-" Ishita rubbed his arms softly encouraging him.

"When I was walking out of exam hall with my friends, I saw a boy." Ishita just prayed that nothing bad happened with her baby "I don't know what I was thinking but I unknowingly said he is pretty."

"Every-everyone laughed. Said I should be looking for girls. Not some boys. Kept asking if I find them to pretty, attractive. Is it that weird?"

Ishita slowly pulled him out, taking his face on her palms, "Oh my poor baby! Ofcourse it is not. Its normal. And you should appreciate beautiful cteations."

"Does-does it mean I am gay?" He whispered, as if worried someone other than her will hear it.

"Should I tell you the truth?" Ishita replied after wiping his freely flowing tears, "I don't know. I really don't. But is is okay if you are gay, it is okay if you are not too. We will try to understand this together, okay?"

She smiled as he rapidly nodded agreeing with her.

Wiping all the remaining off his cheek, she ruffled his hair. "So are you going to beat Rooh this year?" She asked trying to lighten the mood.

"Ofcourse not, Ishima." Her other little one shouted just entering from the main door, making them both grin.

"Ishima, I wanted idlii." Ruhi complained poking the french fries, not getting her favroite food.

"Today is Adi bhaiya's turn, no? I will make soft soft idlii tomorrow." Ishita promised.

Serving a good portion to Adi, she whispered "I shared some links. Read it, okay? We are together in this." earning a huge grin back.

Ishita didn't know if her son is gay or not, but what she knew was she will never leave him alone.

She was thinking so when her shameless husband hugged her from behind, infront of her in-laws.

"Jaan, don't judge me okay!" He started. Adi choked on the fries while Ishita's heartbeat rocketed.

"I had a glass of hard drink and I drove here. I know how much you hate driving drunk. Sorry." He muttered, earning a earfull from her in-laws.

And if the mother-son duo shared a secret laugh, no one noticed.

HAPPY PRIDE MONTH.

To everyone who is confused, who is scared to share with others. Its okay.

Whatever you are its okay.

Whatever you are feeling it is normal.

LGBT+ IS OKAY. ๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€๐ŸŒˆ

I don't know if you like this or not but this every special to me.

It is inspired by some true events.

I still remember how I just ran to talk with my mom thinking I broke some rule. I was not supposed to call a girl pretty after the reaction I received.

But what I got instead was something to cherish forever.

"We are together in this. Whatever it is." Her exact words.

This for everyone, every single person out there; just be yourself.

There is no rule you will break being yourself but only the gates keeping you away from happiness.

Once again HAPPY PRIDE MONTH๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€๐ŸŒˆ.
