(Na, you are lying. Papa is not scared of cockroach.)

"He is." Adi stubbornly said crossing his arms.

"He is not." She growled "I can prove it."

"Me too." He roared back at her.

Determined the kids moved toward their parents room.

"Papa. Papa." Jumping on the bed beside him Ruhi wrapped her tiny arms around his torso. "Papa. Cockroach."

Raman laughed wiping bis baby girls tear and added in fake strict voice "Where is that bad cockroach, scaring my poor Ruhi."

He moved toward the door where she pointed. And calmly threw it outside the balcony with the help of newspaper.

He smiled as she sweetly pecked his cheeks before leaving him alone.

"See, Papa is NOT scared of cockroach." Ruhi crossed her arms infront of her brother who just saw the scene in the room.

"No, he IS scared." He declared before asking a chance to prove his point.

Raman was engrossed in his laptop while Ishita was folding the clothes in bed.

"Ishima, cockrach." Adi showed the bug near his parents bed.

"Cock-cockrach." Ishita made faces as her husband hugged her with a shrill cry.

"Raman leave me." She struggled on his arms while he arms tighten around her waist.

"Ishita, cockroach." He mumbled as it if explained everything.

"Are par mujhe xodo toh, baba." She tried to loosen his grip "mai bahar fek dungi."
(At least leave me. So that I can throw it out.)

"No, don't leave me alone. Adi, will do it." He mumbled placing his face on her nape, sweet jasmine fragrance filling his lungs.

"Adi please." Ishita signaled as his grip didn't loosen.

Adi threw the bug in the dustbin.

"See." Adi signalled his sister who was looking, hiding beside the door.

"But. . ." Ruhi fumbled not getting her father's act, frown appearing in her forehead "Is he scared or not?"

"Ishima." Both exclaimed at once, running toward their mothers in hopes to find answer to their question.
