It has been Raman's motto for last 7 years and it had worked greatly.

Like how he pretended, he didn't have feelings for his first wife after she confessed about her extramarital affair. He faked it for weeks, months, years and he himself didn't know when he actually stopped having feelings.

Like how he pretended, he wasn't heart broken when his baby boy chose his mother and that same mother abandoned their 6 months baby girl.

For 2 years he pretended that she was his only child, before he actually started believing it. Realising 4th year only that he had stopped trying to connect with his 1st born and without his taunting words, he was happy with his baby, his Ruhi.

Like how he faked, he was confident applying for the post of CEO after two years break. He had hidden his trembling hand in his pockets, his scared eyes with his glares and his nervousness with his smirk. And it worked like a charm.

Like how he faked, he was confident about his father's plan. That just by marrying that irritating Madrasan, he will get his baby's custody. And he won the case. He actually won the case against his ex-wife by marrying Ishita.

Like Raman said earlier, this motto has changed his life.

For better.

But right now he was doubting the same thing.

He had pretended that he didn't like the feel of his wife's soft cheeks against his chapped lips.

That he didn't like admiring her when she drived.

That he secretly didn't love her in those kapdo ki thaan aka her kanjivaram saree.

That he wasn't scared that she will see he taunted her, initiated silly fights just too see her red nose and cheeks, to see her huffing and puffing like some cartoon character.

That his eyes didn't linger on her when she wore that blue dress.

That he was jealous when mother-daughter schemed against him and he didn't admire their bond.

That he wasn't falling for her.

He did.

He pretended for days, weeks, months untill he realised.

Untill he realised, he was already in love with her.

And he was scared.

He was scared because he done it for 7 whole years so he doesn't know what to do?

Which motto will work if not that?

What was he supposed to do now, when faking and pretending was not working?

He was confused.

Really confused.
