"Ishita." She raised eyebrows to her husband simultaneously passing the breakfast to her kids.

"I need your help." He said in a serious tone.

"Abhi bohot der ho rahi hai. In dono ka bus bhi miss hogaya." She added pointing toward the brother and sister duo who were hurriedly eating their breakfast "Ab inhe school xodo, meri ek appointment hai 45 mins me. Baad mai ho sakta hai kya?"
(Actually I am running so late. They missed their bus, so I need to drop them and I have a appointment at 45 mins. Can we do it later?)

She explained her schedule softly hoping he will understand.

"Nahi. Baat mai nahi ho sakta. . .  Zyaada time nahi lagega, just 10 mins. Bohot important hai." She sighed as he showed his puppy dog eyes.
(Nope. We can't do it later . . . It won't take much time, just 10 minutes. Its really important.)

Muttering a soft okay, she warned her kids to finish everything before ahe returns.

"Raman?" She called him entering the room not seeing him there. She frowned to herself but in next moment she felt a hand pulling her.

With a soft thud her body collided with his  front while she rolled her eyes at her husband's antics.

"Mujhe bohot der ho rahi hai, Raman. I don't have time for all this." She strictly said as his arms slide around her offering her a sweet smile.
(Raman, I am already late. I don't have time for all this.)

"Nahi seriously. Teri help cahhiye. Bohot important research hai." He said sincerely and she nodded silently asking him to continue.
(No, seriously. I need your help. Its a really important research.)

"You say na that I am pretty rough diver?" When she nodded seriously on his words, he added "I was also thinking that aggression is not necessary while driving. I need your help in it."

"How can I help?" She asked softly

She genuinely wanted to help him. Not because he was a rash driver or gets in accident too often.

But because their innocent 7 year olds were learning to curse.

His aggression and anger reaching whole new level while other messes up sign, not minding the kids in backseat.

"So I read a research." She nodded softly as he sincerely added "Smooching helps with aggression. Freshly kissed person is less aggressive when they hit the road."

She tried so hard to make a stern face but eventually laughed.

"Raman. You are too much." She muttered pecking his lips softly.

She shook her head at him, smile not leaving her lips.

"Kalse pakka aaj bohot der ho rahi hai."
She promised releasing herself from his hold.
(From tomorrow. I am really running late today.)

As she left the room, he smiled ruffing his hairs softly.

*****

Inspired from "Family Man" and kiss facts that my friend sent to me.

Yep. I know I have weird friends. 🙄

So if you want your man or woman safe, kiss the hell out them before they hit the road.

😉😉
