"Papa this is not how its done!" Ruhi exclaimed.

"Ruhi-chuhi dhire bol" Adi wishpered making her fold her arms.
(Ruhi, lower your voice.)

"Kuch sheeko apni behen se." Raman muttered softly.
(Learn something from your younger sister.)

Sharing a look with each other both exclaimed in same time, "Papa, she is sleeping."

Raman looked toward his youngest. Pihu was sleeping with a soft teddy on her hand, using the stack of dish cloths as pillow.

"Exactly. Atleast she is not distrubing." Raman retorted back making them pout.

"Kya ho ra hai yaha pe?" Three of them turned hearing Ishita's voice.
(What is happening here?)

"Tu kyu uth gai?" Raman glanced toward the wall clock, it read 12:30.
(Why are you awake?)

"Pata nai aakh khul gai." Ishita rubbed her eyes softly "but aap kya log kya kar rahe ho?"
(I don't know what woke me up. But what you guys doing?)

"Wese tho hum ne ek proper plan banatha ki kese tumhe suprise karenge." Raman continued pulling her softly towards him.
(Though we had a proper plan how to suprise you.)

"Happy Birthday Ishita/Ishima" Trio shouted.

Ishita was trying to figure out how to response when they heard Pihu crying.

"Hey, hey. Kya hua bacha?" Adi quickly picked her up.
(Hey, what happened?)

"Aap-aap logo ne mere bina hi Mumma-mumma ko wish kiya." Pihu replied in between her sobs.
(You guys are wishing Mumma-mumma without me.)

"Aww mera baby." Ishita pinched her cheeks softly.

"Maine kitni help ki, Mumma. Maine recipes dhudi, sugar measure karke dala." Pihu continued while Ruhi and Adi made faces.
(I did so much work, Mumma. I searched the recipe, I measured sugar.)

"Lets cut the cake." Raman continued wiping tears remains.

"Lets cut the cake." Kids exclaimed.

Ishita slowly cut the cake as they sang Happy Birthday.

Ishita forwarded the first piece toward Raman but everyone asked her to taste first.

"Its quite good." Ishita said examining everyone face "bus thoda salty hai but acha hai."
(Its quite good, somewhat satly but goo.)

"Pihuuuuu" Adi and Ruhi exclaimed making Ishika shook her head.

"Sorry" Pihu said hiding in Raman's neck.

Raman was rotating Pihu trying to protect her from her siblings while the others were trying get her.

Finally, they serttled and moved towards their room.

"Happy Birthday, jaan. Agar lockdown nahi hota tho kitne ache se manate tera birthday." Raman wishpered peaking her forehead softly.
(Happy Birthday, love. We would have celebrated grandly if it was not for the lockdown.)

Without saying anything Ishita rested her head on his chest, smiling as he curled his arms around her.

Though the cake was salty but it was baked with love and care from her family. And it actually was far more special then those store bought cakes.

Smiling softly thinking about all the chaos to follow tomorrow she let the dreams takeover her.

So this thing actually happened with my Badima. My cousins were so sad that her  birthday wont be as it was planned, but she said whatever they are going to do now will be done from the starch and nothing can mean more than that.
