~Midnight (flashback)~

"Mr. Aizawa," Xiao said, coming in. Aizawa looked at him. "Xiao. Can I help you?" he asked. "We've decided we want as much opportunity to train, including these 'field trips' schools here have. Would that be all right? Training without the constant need to come to you?" Xiao asked. Aizawa nodded. "You all can start training with the class tomorrow. I do expect teamwork," he said

~Present~

"Did you see that girl with the acid powers? Aw, man, that's really cool! And the guy with the bird shadow monster!" Bennett said enthusiastically.

"They do have interesting Quirks," Kaeya said. "They'd make great additions to the Knights of Favonius!" Amber exclaimed. "There are a few cuties in that class~ I'm sure they'd be willing to help in the library," Lisa said. "Is that what you call everybody?  'Cutie'?" Paimon asked. Lisa smiled and said nothing.

Lumine noticed that Xiao was rather quiet. "Hey, Xiao, what's up?" she asked. Xiao sighed. "That class... they seem, off. One of them, anyway," he said. Lumine tensed up. "So you suspect a traitor?! Who would it be?!" Paimon exclaimed, not loud enough for the other 14 to know, but still in Lumine's ears.

"I don't know who the traitor would be. I barely know those humans. But, based off powers, I'd say the invisible one," he said. "Invisibility would be good for sneaking around," Lumine agreed.

"Looks like's school's in session," came Lisa's voice. Students were filing into the school, mixed looks of excitement and boredom on their faces. One, Todoroki, looked as disdainful as he did yesterday.

"Do you think we're gonna train with that group this time?" said Kirishima's voice from outside the door. "Maybe. I really hope so! Those Visions Mr. Aizawa told us about were so cool!" Ashido replied to him.

The group waited a few hours, entertaining themselves. Then the clock struck noon.

"Oh, hey, it's almost lunchtime," Bennett said, looking at the clock. The door opened and Aizawa walked in, with no food.

"Mr. Aizawa! Is something wrong?" Lumine asked. The other 15 looked at Aizawa, waiting for an answer. Behind him stood a white mouse-dog-bear thing. "Hello, everyone," it said.

"It talks!" Amber exclaimed. The mouse thing chuckled. "Yes, I do talk. My name is Nezu, and I am the principal of this school," he said. "You're the principal? You look more like a small bear running rampant in the school," Kaeya laughed.

"I noticed how you sixteen spend most of your time here, and only come out to train," Nezu said. "Yeah. It's kind of limiting," Paimon said. "Come to think of it, it's kind of boring as well," Xiangling said.

"I've decided you sixteen may wander the school as you please, which includes the teacher's lounge, and may proceed to the cafeteria once lunchtime comes around. You will also be allowed to exit the school building after hours and be in town, so long as a teacher is with you. What do you say?" he offered. Bennett's face lit up. In fact, everyone's expressions changed.

"You're not kidding?" Barbara said. Nezu shook his head. "No, I am not," he smiled.

"Then we accept your offer," Lumine said.

...

Aizawa led the group to the empty cafeteria. "Classes are almost done. Go ahead and get your food and sit down anywhere," Aizawa told them.

"I can't believe we actually get to eat in the cafeteria! And we won't have to share one table with each other!" Paimon said.

The group sat down at the tables and started eating. "It's nice how we can actually go into town now. I've been wanting to see what ingredients this world has," Xiangling said to herself, putting some ramen noodles in her mouth.

A flood of students flooded the cafeteria. They all seemed confused as to who the Liyue and Mondstadt citizens were and why they were there. But Class 1-A just smiled... most of them, anyway.

Midoriya, Iida, and Ochaco sat down at the table Lumine, Paimon, Kaeya, Lisa, and Amber were sitting at. "Hey! It's nice to see you outside of training!" Ochaco said. Lumine nodded. "It's good to see you, too!" Amber replied, smiling. "Did you hear? Last night, someone spotted an unauthorized grown man fighting villains, but whenever the police came, he was gone." Midoriya said. "Ah, yes. I do hope the police find him." Iida replied.

"What did he look like? We could come across him. If we do, maybe we can freeze him until the police arrive," Kaeya suggested. "Witnesses say he has 'short brown hair that fades to orange in some areas. He was using attacks that brought up full rock pillars, and even brought a meteor down'." Iida said, recalling the news. "That sounds like Zhongli!" Paimon exclaimed. "You know him?" Ochaco asked. Lumine nodded. "Yeah. He works at a funeral parlor. Maybe we can convince him to come back with us," Lumine said.

The group talked amongst one another. They found out Midoriya had been chosen for class president, and congratulated him.

"Thanks, but, am I really cut out for this?" Midoriya said. "Of course you are. Why else would they vote for you, despite barely knowing you?" Lisa said. "Lisa's right. This is an honor, Midoriya!" Amber said. "Thanks-" Midoriya started, but the alarms went off. "What the-" Ochaco started.

"Did someone break in?" Paimon asked as she floated alongside Lumine through the crowd. "I'm not sure. I'm trying to find everyone else in the crowd," Lumine said, trying to see over the heads of the students.

"Guoba! Where are you?!" Xiangling's voice carried over the crowd. Lumine looked behind her and saw Xiangling trying to move through the crowd in an attempt to find Guoba.

"Wha- Xiangling! I found Guoba!" Chongyun's voice replied, after a thud, indicating he fell over. Lumine could faintly hear Xingqiu laughing, probably at Chongyun. "Hold onto him for me, until this has died down!" she yelled back.

Suddenly, Iida started yelling, making the crowd stop. "Calm down! It's just the media! You are  UA students! We should not be acting like this!"

"How'd Iida get up there?" Paimon asked herself. Lumine shrugged. "That Ochaco has gravity-based abilities, so I'd say she used those to let him float," Lumine replied. "That makes sense."

The group returned to their room, trying to process what the heck just happened.

"Oh! We got some news! Zhongli is here, too!" Paimon exclaimed.

"That isn't surprising," Aizawa's voice said from behind, startling Paimon. "Hey! Don't scare us like that!" Paimon yelled at him. "Apologies. But that Zhongli you're talking about... his being here is not surprising," Aizawa repeated. "Why?" Diona asked. "The Rift the villains created is unstable; it's bringing in Vision wielders at random times and places." Aizawa explained. "More? But won't that eventually tear up the barriers separating this word from ours?" Mona asked. "Not just those two. All worlds. All realities. Even realities alternate to yours," Aizawa said. "That's... really scary." Bennett mumbled.
