Now that Adrien changed schools and Shadow Moth had the powers to create even more trouble around town. You and your boyfriend had even less time to see each other. The only good thing about it is that Lila wouldn't suspect anything.

So you lived on your cell phone exchanging messages with him, you talked about anything.

'U're lying, I bet the girls at your new school won't leave you alone.ಠ﹏ಠ'

'Maybe at first but Kagami put them on the run🤣 and I also already have a pretty girlfriend.😏'

'Kagami really seems to like you.'

'We're just friends, just like u and Felix. But we never kiss or anything🤣🤣🤣'

'I can't believe u're making fun of this.'

"Honey, lately I've only seen you with this cell phone.” Your mother's voice caught your attention. You quickly stuffed it in your pocket and turned your attention to the dinner table.

"Sorry mom, I was talking to Alya." You smiled as you turned your attention back to your plate of food.

"Why didn't you take the chance at this dinner to invite your new boyfriend?  I already know him but I still wanted to talk to him.” Your father asked.

"Actually dad, we're just friends now.  This dating thing didn't work, that's all."  You hurried to finish your dinner.

"What? You're kidding. I really don't understand you, (Y/n)." Your father said with a suspicious look.

"I thought you would be happier to know that I'm not with anyone.” You laughed lightly, your mother didn't avoid a giggle either.

"It's because now you have more chances to date anyone again. Just like when you were dating that masked boy. I won't allow such a thing again.” He said seriously. You sighed, forcing yourself not to roll your eyes.

"Father, we are in modern times. Can't I just date with who I really like?” You asked ironically even though you knew his answer.

"Of course you can. So it means you're liking someone else?" Your mom interrupted your dad, looking at you with curious eyes. You looked away, your mom always knew things, and you were tired of making up a new lie. You had no more reason to lie too.

"Fine. You caught me, I have a crush on Adrien Agreste." You said honestly. Your parents looked at each other with wide eyes then looked at you.

"Listen darling, you'll think it's more of a drag coming from me, but I don't want you getting involved with this boy like that. It's for your own good." Your father said with a serious and concerned face. You didn't take it seriously.

"Just because his dad is your competition?” You scoffed.

"It's not that, honey. We don't want any more problems with this man, if it were up to us I wouldn't have a problem, but he would never allow you to date his son." Your mom said with sad eyes.

"So what? He can't control his son forever, one time he accepts the same thing happened to you."  You rolled your eyes.

"Don't mess with the Agreste. We have enough problems already and we don't want you to get hurt.” Your mother said gently.

"I'll try..." Her parents didn't look pleased with her response but didn't argue further.

There's always something that stays between us...

After dinner you went to your room to exchange messages with Adrien again.

Our schedules don't really match, just at night, but I can't risk going there as Chat Noir anymore.😭

The next day at school...

"Yo Felix, How's my best guy friend doing?" You greeted him smiling but he didn't even look at you.

"Did you greet me today?  Say what you want." He said with his face leaning into the palm of his hand with a faraway look.

"What are you talking about Felix? We talk every day.” You sat down next to him giving him a friendly nudge in the arm.

"No. I try to talk to you every day while you're on your cell phone with your shitty little boyfriend.” You looked at him indignantly but quickly understood.

"Oh I see, this bad mood isn't because of me. Is your mom still dating that guy?” You asked looking at him sympathetically.

He just nodded in response.

"Look this must be really frustrating for you, but if your mom is happy and he's a nice guy, it might get easier to get used to it with time. Try not to think about it.” You patted his hand comfortingly on the table.

"I can't (Y/n), it was supposed to be just me and her now."

"Of course you can't do it overnight.  How about I come to your house today?  So we do something to make you stop thinking about it for a bit.” He looked at you suspiciously.

"What are you looking at? Can't I be a good friend too?” He kept his eyes suspicious.

"Fine. You got me, I was going to ask you this from the start. And I was also going to ask you to let him go too 'cause it was the only way I thought for us to see each other. That way we could kill two birds with one stone.” You confessed with a guilty smile.

"I don't feel like playing gooseberry. But the house is big if you two want I don't mind you meeting there as long as I'm not in the same room." He shrugged.

"We won't be making out all the time. What kind of friend do you think I am?  I really want to help you silly. Sometimes you make me feel like a bad friend." You crossed your arms.

"Is it because lately you haven't been thinking about anything but that guy? Well, anyway I believe in your good intentions. Text me when you are on your way." You applauded excited.

Earlier in the evening, you were in the driver's car on the way to Felix's house.

So everything ready?  Did your father let you go?

Yes. Kagami insisted on coming too... she wanted to meet you.

Oh okay. It will be fun

You arrived at Felix's house and soon after Kagami and Adrien too.

You haven't seen each other since that day you talked in the alley a week ago.  It was nice being able to hug him no matter how shy you were.

"Darling, this is my friend, Kagami." You left the hug to shake her hand.

"It's nice to finally meet you (Y/n)." Kagami said with a tight grip.

"Likewise. I'm grateful for everything you've done for him. I'm glad he has a friend like you." You smiled as she became listless nodding her head.

Is she as serious as Felix or did she just not like me?

"Guys, I'd like to talk to (Y /n) in private, could you leave us alone please?" You looked at Kagami in surprise.

Felix shrugged as he left the room and Adrien gave you a worried look as if he didn't think it was a good idea, but he had no choice but to follow his cousin.  Leaving the two of you alone in the big, now silent entrance hall.

"I know you had your reasons for hurting Adrien, I actually imagined a lot of possible solutions to avoid this path, but nobody thinks the same way of course." Her listless look got a little serious, you didn't know what to say and just let her keep talking.

"It hurt me so much to see him suffer like that, and if you happen to hurt him for whatever reason, I won't forgive you. He's very important to me." Hearing that made you feel bad, feel like you didn't deserve to be with him.  Even though she said it in a sincere and nice way. All you heard was... /If you hurt him again I'll make him forget about you forever/

"You love him don't you?" You asked smiling for managing to get an expression out of her with that question.

"I just want him to be happy, no matter what I feel right now, I'll get over him eventually.” She looked away. You looked sad as you thought about it.

And I thought I had problems...

"Thanks for everything Kagami... And rest assured that I will never hurt him again." You said with determined eyes.

"I hope so. Well, let's see what the boys are doing." You sighed, relieved that the strange atmosphere was over and followed Kagami in search of the boys.

Meanwhile at the same time:

The boys left the girls alone and went to the living room taking a seat on each arm of the couch. There was an awkward silence until Adrien spoke.

"You know Felix... I'd like to apologize for everything I've done, especially for punching you. I'm very sorry and I understand if you don't want to forgive me.” Adrien rubbed the back of his neck in embarrassment.

"It's ok I let you punch me, I really wanted to see (Y/n) fighting with you..." Felix smiled amused as he remembered the scene while Adrien blinked his eyes in surprise.

"Wait, I don't understand. If you wanted us to break up, then why did you help us get back together?” Adrien already suspected that Felix liked (Y/n) but after he helped them, Adrien thought he was wrong.

"Because even though I'm better than you at everything she'll never see me more than a friend, I don't like to see her sad so she better stay with whoever she likes, even if it's with someone boring like you.” Felix rolled his eyes and looked away.

"You have this badboy way but deep down you're a nice guy, I see it.” Adrien smiled gratefully.

"Hahaha... If you think so. I'll let you know that if things don't work out for you two, let's just say I'll be there for her and it won't be to make you get back together.” Felix returned it with a smug smile.

"Fair enough, but don't get so excited it's never going to happen, nothing can tear us apart anymore.” Adrien smiled confidently crossing his arms.

"Are you sure about that?  I see a lot of things that separate you two…” Felix stated.

"You can't be right all the time Felix. Just like when you say you're better than me at everything."

"Oh am I not?  How about a friendly dispute?” Felix suggested, Adrien nodded confidently.

After you and Kagami finished the conversation, you two went looking for the boys around the house.  They were in the room where Felix used to train.  You were worried to think of the two of them fighting when they just made up.

There was a kind of competitive atmosphere between them.

"Thankfully, girls arrived, we'll have an audience for our next fight.  Like old times, is'nt it, little cousin?” Felix said throwing a smug smile at Adrien who was staring at him with a determined expression.

"You seem to have softened Felix, in the old days you came with everything without pity." Adrien replied.

"If I get hard on you, your little girlfriend will be mad at me.” Felix scoffed.

"Better not underestimate him Felix, I'm sure he knows how to deal with villains on a daily basis." You laughed. Adrien smiled confidently sending you a wink.

You and Kagami took a seat to watch.

After a tough dispute between them ended up giving a draw.

If you and Kagami didn't step in with another idea to pass the time, they'd probably be fighting all night.

So after you guys spent the rest of the night playing Monopoly and Chess, Felix kept bragging about winning but Kagami got a win against him by lowering his ego a bit. It was a fun night for everyone and you're sure everyone would like to do it again.
