You raced down the stairs calling out a quick goodbye to your mom ʻʻI'm late for school. I gotta go bye momʼʼ

ʻʻY/n! Wait —ʼʼ

You were in a rush and out the door, in Stefan's car within seconds.

ʻʻSomeone is in a rushʼʼ your bestfriend teased knowing exactly why.

Rolling your eyes playfully you said ʻʻJust drive,Salvatoreʼʼ
Stefan chuckled, he knew his friend was in a rush to get to Jeremy before first period could start.

ʻʻYeah yeah I'm going as fast as I legally can. Jeremy will be there don't worryʼʼ

You managed to spot Jer by his locker about to shut it and take off for class.

ʻʻJeremy!ʼʼ you called walking up to the Gilbert boy.

ʻʻOh. Y/n heyʼʼ his eyes lit up once he saw you but then he recalled how you two stopped talking as much and was always too close to Damon and Stefan. He knew his sister was with the younger Salvatore so his jealousy and concerns layed more with Damon.

ʻʻI'm glad I caught youʼʼ your eyes softened ʻʻare you um... okay?ʼʼ

The Gilbert boy could see the concern in your pretty eyes.

You thought back to yesterday when Stefan called to inform about Jeremy being killed by a vampire. You knew the human boy had his magic ring on but it still worried you since you knew it would be scary no matter how many times it'd happen in the future. This town was getting used to the idea of supernaturals but it doesn't mean it didn't bring about trauma.

The boy stuffed his books into the bagpack as he glanced at you with an expression that read unsure,teasing and flattered?... you couldn't really figure it ʻʻI wasn't sure you caredʼʼ he replied softly.

ʻʻJeremy... of course I care about you! You know I do, always have...ʼʼ you were surprised he thought that even though recently a gap had formed between you two that wasn't there before Anna came into the picture.

You and Jer used to be close friends mainly because you were in the same classes and age and got along well but when Anna came into the picture you slowly drifted apart. Mainly coz you couldn't bear to see them together and she occupied most of his time or if he wanted to hang Anna would always accompany.

You took a breath feeling nervous, unsure if you should confess your crush to him.

You had liked him for a while and watching Jeremy fall for the vampire sucked so you had taken refuge under Damon Salvatore. Who else knew unrequited love like him?

Being close buds with the older vampire brought you closer to both of the Salvatores. Stefan sometimes had less time, with protecting and dating the doppelganger girl he loved but your friendship with the two was strictly just that. Friendship. They considered you more as a little sister than anything else and you were grateful for having them. They made things bearable and it was always nice to feel looked after.

You exhaled deciding on telling Jeremy before it was too late. He was single right now and you wanted to cease the opportunity. Imagining dates with him was getting too much to avoid. You had to see what happened from here. So with a shaky breath your lips parted  ʻʻJeremy... I—I erm. Look I'm just going to say it! I've always cared about you because I like you. I've liked you for a long time I just — I was afraid to say it I didn't know if you actually felt the same way and we've always been just friends so I didn't want to ruin that.ʼʼ

You drew in a breath after the confession. Your fingers twiddling together. Jeremy looked surprised as he stared at the girl he liked since they were kids.

Doubt setted in so you hurried to take back what you said ʻʻThis was a bad idea. You don't feel the same way. I'm sorr-ʼʼ

You were cut off by Jermey closing the distance between you and cupping your face as he kissed you hard, expressing himself through it.

Your heart beat was rapid along with his and when you pulled apart for air there were wide smiles on both of your faces. Jermey's hands wrapped around your waist as he leaned you against his locker. He dipped his head placing a kiss on your neck. Taking a breath he confessed ʻʻyou have no idea how long I've waited to hear you say that.ʼʼ
ʻʻI like you too,Y/n a lot like ever since we were 12.ʼʼ he chuckled

It made you grin and brush your lips over his. Jeremy knew his jealousy towards your friendship with Damon was stupid now. You liked him and the Gilbert boy couldn't be happier.

You pressed your lips to his, kissing each other with happiness blooming in your chests. You now knew all those flirty remarks from Jeremy and his caring side wasn't just him being a charming friend, it was him showing you he liked you in subtle ways.

ʻʻI could stay here all day every day kissing youʼʼ Jeremy said into the kiss and you pulled apart with a giggle agreeing with him but you knew you were late for class since the bell had rung a couple minutes ago and the hall was empty. You took his hand in yours pulling him away from the lockers ʻʻCome on we're already late for class.ʼʼ

The boy groaned ʻʻfine but more kisses at lunch?ʼʼ

You flushed red and let out a laugh ʻʻyes! More kisses at lunch today and everyday after that.ʼʼ

He squeezed your hand, eyes twinkling ʻʻI like the sound of thatʼʼ he winked as you grinned back.

Finally a Jeremy one. This was so so cute, personally I feel so. I could really use this idea again or in a fanfic 😆
Jer deserves some love it was about time! Heh
