↠ Matt when, he finds out you're now a vampire too...

Matt had just found out that you were now a vampire as well and to say it broke his heart would be putting it lightly. The blue eyed human was devastated when he saw Stefan carrying your unconscious body in the Salvatore home while Caroline and him were studying using 'flashcards'. Those flashcards and textbooks now lay forgotten on the wooden table...

Nadia Petrova had fed on you until your heart stopped. Stefan had found you sometime later sighing in relief when he realised you were going to be in transition upon awakening. He remembered Tyler had given you some of his blood to heal a cut you'd gotten while cooking in the kitchen with the hybrid and Caroline.

Stefan would never wish vampirism upon anyone especially someone that loved being human but it was better to have you alive then dead, he just hoped Matt and you would handle it well.

Stefan layed your body on the couch before meeting Matt's worried gaze ʻʻShe's gonna be okay.ʼʼ

Matt rushed over to you but soon realized you weren't breathing. Eyes wide he looked to the vampire ʻʻshe's... — Y/n's not breathing,Stefan!!ʼʼ Matt yelled struggling to keep the tears in.

ʻʻShe's in... — she's in transitionʼʼ Stefan hesitantly informed.

Matt's eyes widened he glanced at his girlfriend's unconscious form on the couch. You were the light and full of life but now she was doomed to the faith of darkness.

His gaze stayed fixed onto you as Caroline and Tyler attempted to comfort him. He pushed his friends away, burying his face into his hands.

ʻʻStefan what's —ʼʼ Elena stopped mid-sentence as her,Damon and Jeremy came into the parlour and saw you unconscious.

ʻʻOh my god, Y/n! what happened to her?ʼʼ

ʻʻShe's ok. She had my blood in her systemʼʼ Tyler informed them.

ʻʻNo! It's not fine. She's a vampire now. She didn't want this!ʼʼ Matt yelled clearly upset.

Caroline and Elena shared a look of sadness and sympathy. While Tyler and Jer tried cleaning off the blood from your neck.

Stefan and Damon shared a look, one that silently said they were going to do everything they could to help you become a functioning vampire.

ʻʻWe'll teach her how to control it —ʼʼ Damon was cut off by Matt whom yelled ʻʻShe never wanted this! Y/n wanted to stay human we both did in a town full of supernaturals we were normal as we could be. An average human couple with human goals like kids and a future and now...ʼʼ
Matt shook his head tears welling up in his eyes. He took one last pained look at you then left the boarding house ignoring the calls from his friends.

As he drove to some place, anywhere. Matt let the tears fall free while he thought about the time you had told him you were happier being human with him and how you imagined a family,two girls and one boy whom had to have Matt's blue eyes...

And now it was never going to happen. You weren't going to live out your plans or your dreams and it made Matt wish he'd taken you away from all this craziness when he had the chance to but he was going to be by your side through it all, he just hoped you'd be okay.

It's 2:30am but i felt like writing an imagine and it's been sometime.
