↳Klaus when you ask him if he ever loved you before he could compel you to forget him.

When Klaus Mikealson knocked on your door at midnight you didn't expect to find him in front of you for the last time.

You wrapped your arms around the original pulling him inside as you nestled your forehead into the crook of his neck. Your heart beat flitted to Klaus's eardrums and he found it harder to let you go. he couldn't bring himself to make you forget about him. The woman his family and him had known for years.

Klaus met you when you were human and he turned you after falling in love with you. Decades passed and the love only grew stronger until now Mikeal threatened Klaus and with his life came yours and Klaus would never risk that,he could never jeopardise your life.

So Klaus pulled away making you frown.
❝hey... is everything okay?❞

Klaus parted his lips and you noticed it quiver. His eyes glossed over and you felt a pit in your heart. ❝Klaus... ❞

He fought to meet your eyes and sighed, tears becoming more apparent.

You closed the space between you two and wrapped your arms around the man you loved. Once more resting your head against his chest.

❝ssshh you're going to be okay. ❞

Klaus stepped back once again increasing the distance. ❝No I came here to do something,love and you're making it rather difficult ❞ he swallowed

❝Remember that no matter what i had to do i will always love you but you're going to have forget this -- forget us. ❞

You frowned deeply wondering what he meant by forget us.

The pieces slotted together as you realised and you whispered ❝Mikeal?!❞

And Klaus nodded limply ❝he's here,y/n and mikeal won't stop until he has me dead. If he finds out about you he will kill you and i can't have that! I won't allow him to use my love as a weakness❞

Klaus stepped forward his hand cupping your cheek as tears escaped your eyes. You felt scared to lose klaus and the thought alone terrified you.

❝love,look at me please. I need you to understand i won't allow him to harm the one beautiful thing i have left in my life.❞

You shook your head ❝ i dont care about Mikeal driving a stake through my heart. You will not compel me to forget and lose the best part of my life! I trusted you and your family i never ingested vervain you can't do this to me please,love don't make me forget!❞ you pleaded as your voice cracked and tears flowed out in waves.

❝i have to, and i will for i care deeply about your safety and protection❞ he firmly stated.

❝did you ever love me?!❞ you yelled taking a seat onto the couch as your heart broke. Klaus wouldn't budge and you was frustrated with this decision.
❝did you?❞

❝yes i did. For 52 years,4 months and 9 days❞
He sincerely replied.

Upon hearing his confession of him keeping track of your time spent together your heart broke even further. You couldn't lose klaus not now not ever.

When he stepped forward your heart beat quickened.
❝please,Klaus don't ❞

He winced at the desperation and pain in your voice. ❝i wish there was another way ,y/n but for now I have to. ❞

He held your face, locking his eyes upon yours as you struggled "no" you whispered in defeat as his pupils dilated.

❝you will forget falling in love with me. All you remembered is meeting me once at a bar,we chatted for a bit and then you went home continuing with your life. Forget the moment we kissed and fell in love,the moment i introduced you to my family. Forget them all,Rebekah,Elijah and Kol. You will forget your feelings towards me all you know is that I was a random vampire you met in a bar that turned you when your life was in danger, that is all you will remember for now until I say so. ❞

Klaus stepped back,tears painting his gorgeous face as he saw the glimmer disappear from your eyes. It was done. You forgot about him and his love-- your love story.

A final tear escaped your eyes as you blinked ❝you were a stranger i met at a bar,we talked for a bit and then you left. Eventually when i was in danger you sired me. Nothing more then a guy i met whom turned me.❞ you echoed monotonically.

And with that Klaus's heart had taken another beating. One last look at the woman he loves and then he disappeared into the darkness.

He wiped the tears away ❝goodbye ,y/n for now. ❞ loosing you was like being staked repeatedly and so klaus flipped the switch after informing elijah as he went in pursuit after mikeal. Klaus knew when the time came he would kill his pathetic step-father and eventually he would find his way back to you with the help of his siblings. . .

All i know that this was something i actually pictured happening in a book i could write , I'll jot this down under possible plots 😉 .

Anyway this was cool to conjure up. 800+ words longer than a GIF length imagine , more like a medium/long one for u thesupernaturalTeen
