Peter fidgeted in his seat. He nervously twisted and wringed his fingers as he waited impatiently for Tony to announce Spider-Man as the newest member of the Avengers to the general public. He had arranged a press conference all about it and now Peter was just waiting. All of the Avengers were sitting on a long panel in the large room as they demanded to be around, just in case.

"... And now. For the first time ever, my astonishingly powerful protégée. And frankly, my favourite Avenger," Protests from the team, Tony just smiled apologetically to Bruce. "Spider-Man!" Tony smiled brightly, the unusual smile that was never seen by the public, one that even though he was just one person, the room seemed to radiate with happiness. Peter jumped up from his position and swung into the room, over the crowd and onto his designated chair behind the panel in the back of the room, in between Iron Man and Captain America. Landing flawlessly, he turned and waved.

"Sah dudes," He greeted. The cameras began flashing and people started shouting over each other to get their questions answered. Unable to deal with the lights any longer, Peter brought up his hand and clenched it, silencing the large group. "You can take pictures if you want but no flash photography. Also, one at a time with hands up - like school."

Hands shot up in an instant so Peter called on the person with large eyes and an old camera model.

"Andrew Garfield with the daily bugle. Do you still plan on being the 'Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man' even though you will have such a big roll to play with the Avengers?" Peter nodded and Andrew's smirk grew wider. He pointed to his camera as if asking to take a picture to which Peter nodded, silently appreciating his manners. The man smiled and positioned the camera, getting Peter's good side. Peter then selected a short blonde.

"Buckingham Chicago with the New York Times. There have been many speculations and rumours of you having a young age. Can you confirm or deny these rumours?"

"I guess so. Yes, I am on the young side. I am fifteen years old. I still attend school which sucks but yknow, stay in school."

"Tom H with the Washington Post. Do you have any advice for young males and females in the world who are struggling with school, as you yourself are in school?"

"Can you elaborate please?"

"Like people who deal with bullies, stress, loneliness exetera exetera."

"Well... I know what bullies are like. Let me tell you - it sucks lemons. But I seriously urge you if you are being bullied in any way wether it be physical or mental to tell someone you trust. Tell someone who can deal with it. No one deserves to be bullied."

"Practise what you preach, underoose." Peter shot a glare at the sunglass wearing man before turning back to the crowd of reporters.

"Stress also sucks but as long as you organise yourself and maybe get a planner to keep yourself on track them your stress could go down. There are a lot of ways to relieve stress like hobbies so I would recommend getting into one. Or two. Loneliness is also shit- crap. Sorry, sorry. But there's not much I can say about that. If you're lonely then I guess that just means you haven't met the right people."

"Is it true that you can dance better than the Black Widow herself?" Someone from the back of the crowd shouted. Peter coughed loudly and turned to look at the red head, who was supporting a smirk as if challenging him to answer.

"I'm not sure if I should answer," Peter stuttered into the mic. "I'm honestly too scared to tell the truth."

"What are you trying to imply, Spider-Man?" Natasha teased through the mic.

"N-nothing, I swear! Please don't use me as a target again!" Peter jumped from his seat and began backing away with his hands up to block his face. Steve was clearly finding the whole situation hilarious as he bent backwards holding his chest while wheezing with laughter.

"Why don't we put it to the test, kid?" Natasha challenged smugly. She screwed the bottle cap of her lid back on as the reporters cheered enthusiastically, excited to watch the Avengers dance for the first time. Peter tilted his head but nodded nonetheless.

"Well, if you're gonna dance, you're gonna need a stage," Clint hinted. The rest of the team caught on and stood up. Steve lifted the table easily and pushed it to the corner of the room, creating a large space for the two to dance. The two were already dressed in their flexible skin tight suits so they didn't really need to change. They selected a song Natasha had choreographed moves to that they had learned together and took their positions.

Beginning in a position slightly bent over before lifting their heads and spreading their arms. Slowly swiping their left feet across the floor and morphing it to a spin, their left foot now bent into the right thigh as they spun quickly. Suddenly, they leaped out in sync, jumping on their toes with their arms spread out and right leg up high. They continued the routine with grace and poise, their movements fluid and symmetrical. The song played smoothly in the background, perfectly in time with each change of the finger.

-.-

The performance was recorded and put on @SpiderManOffical on Instagram, immediately going viral and covered by almost every news paper and tabloid. Not only that, but the news of SpiderMan being an Avenger, teenager, victim to bullying and scared of one of the original Avengers became common knowledge to every citizen in New York.

Although the poll that determined who won the dance battle still remained 50/50.
