"Mr Stark, are you free Saturday?" Peter twisted his thumbs, he was very nervous. He had always wanted to show Tony how well he could do with his teammates, and what better way to do that than win the decathlon championship.

"I guess so. Why?" He wore his iron face shield as he was welding two pieces of metal together, a small project we were working on.

"There's the decathlon finals Saturday and May can't make it. I was wondering if you wanted to go? You don't have to, but, I-I dunno it w-would be cool-" His gaze dropped to his feet and his cheeks burned in embarrassment, no matter how long he spent with the mentor, he always felt nervous whenever he asked the man for something or to do something.

"I'd love to, kid. What time?" Tony had turned the blowtorch off and lifted up his face shield, a toothy grin on his face.

"1:15pm. It gives us enough time to drive there with a few pit stops along the way. It's in Brooklyn... somewhere. I could text you the place when we get there." Peter looked back up at the man and grinned.

"Maybe Cap and Buck might want to go too, I'll ask them. And the she-ninja, big green, Katniss, bird brain, point break possibly-"

"Are you just gonna invite all of the avengers?

   "Sure, why not."

-.-

Everyone was sitting behind the curtains whispering widely to each other. Some were scanning their notebooks, others were ...praying. The not-so-loud yet not-so-quiet noise was interrupted when Abraham, the newest member of the team excited shouted.

"You guys, check this out!" He exclaimed as he was looking out of the slit in the curtain, Peter already guessed what was happening. The avengers were sitting in the middle row, in the centre, the best seats possible. They were proudly holding banners high above their heads that read MIDTOWN TECH FOR THE WIN, SUCK IT!

His eyes latched onto Tony's, and he immediately regretted it. The mischievous smirk that he was all too familiar with told Peter that he had a trick up his sleeve, and it might not be enjoyable.

"Take your seats, students. We're starting in five minutes." Our team took our places on the chairs behind the table and as soon as we sat down, the curtains rose and the audience cheered, no one was louder than the insane five year old men and women that were the avengers.

The championship ended with us easily scoring fifty four points higher than them, I tried to not answer a lot to give the others a chance, but if I saw another kid reach out to push the button, my speed kicked in and I slammed my hand down before they could.

"That's the correct answer! In the lead with one hundred and sixteen points is... Midtown Tech! Congratulations!" The audience cheered loudly as the other team stormed off muttering 'no fair'.

"As a special surprise, the person to award you with the trophy, our very own science genius.... Tony Stark!" I raised my brow and watch as Tony walked up the steps and onto the stage. He had a large trophy in his hand, along with several certificates. But I secretly knew that there would be more trophies for us, one each, I heard the teacher discuss it with Michelle, the club leader. I looked back at Tony, who had walked into the centre stage with a microphone.

"I'm very proud of everyone here today. Midtown Tech is my favourite high school in this area and someone very important to me goes to this school. To see these kids become victorious by a landslide makes me very happy and I am overjoyed to present this award." He handed the trophy to Michelle and shook her hand, MJ smiled back politely and waved the trophy over her head.

He continued to hand out rewards, and even medium sized trophies. When he came to me, he surprised everyone by pulling me into a hug.

"Good job Pete. Thanks for asking me to this event, it was very cool." He ruffled my hair while I pouted, saying 'get off' but laughing the whole time.

Still don't know how to end these things. Also I thought it would be important to add that I'm doing all of these stories from my head, not from paper to phone, so that's probs why they suck, and I don't feel like making them longer. It's too much effort. Sorry. I'm doing these stories for fun so I'm not gonna push myself too hard. Hope you enjoyed me guessing how to spell decathlon
