Third Person POV

After rushing to the hospital and awaiting to what the nurse will say, the team (Kagami, Riko, Momoi, and GoM) were worrying for his health. About 30 minutes later the nurse came outside from Kuroko's room and told them about his condition.

"Kuroko has been shot in the shoulder with a 22 millimeter bullet. He will live, but needs to stay here until he can fully recover. He is stable at the moment and is awake." The nurse told them.

Coach Riko nodded and thanked the nurse. "Are we able to see him now?" Riko asked.

"Yes, you are able to see Kuroko." The nurse said while holding open the door.

As they walked in the first thing they noticed was Kuroko lying down with white bandages around His shoulder. The bandages seemed to have a faded red color around it. They walked in and stood around his bed, while Momoi and Riko sat on chairs on opposite sides.

"Daijobu, Kuroko-kun?" Momoi asked, almost tearing up as she saw him. He opened his eyes and nodded.

"Hai, Momoi-san." He said. When they heard his voice, almost everyone broke down. (yes including Akashi, Midorima, and Murasakibara.) His voice sounded hollow and wounded. Almost as if he just felt empty and hurt. Momoi cried softly and held his hand while looking down.

Riko walked beside her and held her shoulders tightly. Kuroko was like the glue that kept everyone together, and seeing him hurt was like everyone just became unstuck and fell apart. The nurse tapped Riko and called her outside. As they went outside, Midorima and Kagami leaned against the wall to hear their conversation.

"Yes?" Riko asked the nurse.

"You see, as we analyzed Kuroko and found the bullet, we saw that if it was projected any higher it would have hit him directly in the head." The nurse said.

Riko just looked at her shocked. "You mean..." She trailed off.

"Yes. If any higher Kuroko would be dead and we wouldn't be able to save him in time. I'm guessing that this was no accident. With the aim, it shows that someone purposely shot him, but missed at killing him."

As the two were speaking, Kagami and Midorima overheard this and looked at one another. Midorima's guess was accurate. This person was trying to kill Kuroko.

As the nurse and Riko walked back in Kagami and Midorima acted as if nothing had happened and that they didn't hear what they were talking about. They soon gathered around Kuroko again and he said that he was alright. Kise was crying crocodile tears and Aomine looked as if he was trying to hold it in. Murasakibara offered Kuroko so for his snacks to make him feel better. Kuroko just smiled and said no.

Nothing has changed. Kuroko thought.

Soon the nurse said that Kuroko needed to get some rest and that they were closing soon. They all nodded and said good bye to Kuroko.

"Saiyonara." Midorima said.

"Get better soon." Aomine told him.

"Don't think that you won't get cut any slack from practice, now." (i let you guess who said this. ;P)

"Bye Kuroko-kun." Akashi said.

"Feel better soon!" Kise said while crying crocodile tears. (T~T)

Bye, Bye, Kuro-chin." Murasakibara told him while leaving.

Momoi hugged him and kissed him on the cheek before leaving.

Kagami ruffled his hair and smiled at him. "Get better." He said while walking out.

Through all of that, Kuroko just smiled warmly up at them. Once they left and the lights were turned off, he stared out the window. Soon his eyes felt heavy and fell asleep, forgetting about today. Once the team was walking out of the hospital, they ended up going to Maji Burger to eat. They discussed the matter of Kuroko and told them about him "Almost-being-killed" situation. This proved Midorima's Theory but there is one more question He asked them.

Who was the person that shot Kuroko?
