Y/n raced out of the doors. Her heart was beating fast. I knew I had hit a nerve.

"Wait up, Y/n!" called Kaidou, standing up to attempt to run after her. He fell and tripped on his face.

"The darn dark reunion," he muttered, glancing around in paranoia.

I closed my eyes and imagined Y/n. I could see her clearly. I knew what I had to do.

"Can we get ramen now?" asked Nendou, licking the remaining jelly out of the cup. I sat my spoon down and wiped my lips. My stomach was content, but my knowledge of Y/n wasn't. She was hiding something and I was so close to figuring it out.

"No," I said. I'm going home." I walked out and ducked in an alley. Before the idiots could come and find me, I teleported home.

"Kusuo, honey, come down and eat!" shouted my mom from downstairs, sensing my presence.

"I just ate," I said. "I'm going to visit Y/n- uh, someone." I heard footsteps as my mom raced upstairs. She pushed open the door and invited herself in my room.

"Kusuo!" she exclaimed. "You have a girlfriend!"

Should have been Teruhashi. I heard my dad think from downstairs.

"She is not my girlfriend. She potentially has psychic abilities, that's all." I said, sitting on my bed. I took off my glasses before my mom could say anything more. Not wanting to be turned to stone, she walked out and shut the door.

I put them back on and focused on Y/n. Crossing my eyes and furrowed my brows, I was able to see exactly where she was. She mentioned going to her room, and I saw an image flash in her parents' minds. That must have been hers. Focusing on that image, I willed myself to teleport there.

Her room was nice. She had a f/c bedspread and a few pink plushies spread across her bed. Posters of western singers were hung on each wall, along with animes. She had a desk with a nice computer and f/c keyboard on it. A bookshelf sat to the left with art supplies and books stored in it. A pink beanbag chair sat in the opposite corner.

I sat on her bed and observed a pink kitten. I would have never thought Y/n was such a girly girl. She looked like a person to have gray bedsheets and no decorations. Then again, that is probably what she wanted other people to think. Privacy, I get it. But why had that never worked for me?

Suddenly she walked in and froze. Her eyes widened when she saw me. Before she could scream, I was behind her, holding her mouth shut.

She ripped my hand off her face. "What the hell!" she spat, looking at me like a freak.

"What a pain." Females were always the most obnoxious and dramatic, hence one of the reasons why I would probably remain single for the rest of my life.

"Just calm down, Okay? I'll explain." I pinched my nose bridge. I suppose it wasn't the smartest idea to appear randomly in her room when her parents were home. I took a seat at her desk.

"I'm not a stalker," I said before she could accuse me. I had no sexual or romantic interest in females. She pursed her lips, confirming my intuition that she would accuse me. I picked up a pencil and twirled it. "Well, I admit you've intrigued me," I said. "Tell me what's different about you."

She backed up and gulped. Her heart beat's rate increased slightly. Her eyebrows furrowed and her tone lowered. "I don't know who you are or how you got in here, but you need to leave. Or else-" she hissed.

I almost laughed, shocked by her outburst. I knew she couldn't do anything. "Or else what?" I challenged her, zipping to corner her. She looked up at me and her heart raced. I kept eye contact, telling her I was curious and not intimidated.

"You're confused," I observed. One eyebrow was slightly up. Her hand was on the door knob, but I covered mine over hers. A small pulses zipped through me.

"Show me yours and I'll show you mine?" I said. Her cheeks immediately grew red and I knew she'd taken it a completely different way. Clearly she was the type that was attracted to the opposite gender. I wondered briefly what that would feel like. She suddenly broke eye contact first, pushing me away.

"You're a creepy pervert," she accused me. "Get the hell out of my room."

My lips curled upwards. "What did you think I meant?" I asked, pressing her. Seeing her emotions unfold was slightly amusing.

"Listen, Y/n, I have no attraction towards you. I'm simply intrigued. You have something you're hiding, and I want to know what it is." I walked back to her desk and observed her computer, wondering if she played computer games.

She breathed out hard and retreated to the beanbag in the corner.
"First of all... how the hell did you get in my room?"

I told her. She looked like she understood, but didn't believe me.
I willed her computer to come to life while she was processing the information. A French cartoon popped up. Was that... a children's show?

"Shut up." She raced over to the computer and shut it off. I said I hadn't expected that.

"You're definitely hiding secrets," I accused her.

"You're crazy. Clairvoyance and telepathy don't exist. You can't read my thoughts." Y/n seemed to be taking the act dumb route. She was right, so I just shrugged.

"Maybe I can't. And maybe that's why I want you to tell me. There are so much things we could do together. Well, how about this. If you tell me a secret, I will leave you alone."

A twinkle of amusement flicked in her eyes. "Okay, smart boy, I'll tell you a secret," she said. "My secret is, I can scream really loud. So if you don't get the fuck out of my house, I will scream really loud and have my parents see that there is a pink haired stalker spying on me, an innocent boring girl. You have 10 seconds."

I was impressed. I didn't expect her to burst again. I had to hand it to her, she was good at disguising herself at school.

Still, I sat and challenged her. What would she actually do? I waited ten seconds and she did nothing. Deciding to not press further, I told her I would leave.

"...just remember this isn't over. I know you're hiding something. The others can't see it, but I know. You'll have to tell me sooner or later." I opened her window and slid out. A normal person would have slid and fell and possibly broken a limb. Kaidou would have broken his whole body. I simply floated to the ground.

When I was out of sight, I teleported home. I wondered if she found the levitating pencil. Maybe it would provoke her to share her secrets with me. I might have been risky, but she was definitely rare. I needed to know what was going on with her...
