After the emotional episode was over, Jungkook talked about everything that had happened, over dinner. Even though he already had his meal at Taehyung's, he still joined his mother and Jimin. After all, he owed his mother that much for worrying her like that. During his explanation, when Jungkook mentioned Namjoon, Jimin face-palmed.

"Of course. I should have called hyung. I totally forgot about him. Tch!"

Acknowledging his addition with a nod, Jungkook continued with his story and told them about the rest of his adventures of the day. By the time he was finished, his mother had a thankful smile on her lips. She could not believe the turn of events. Her son, who would not spare a single glance at others, unless he deemed it necessary, just spent the entire day with two new people and at their house, no less. And the best part was that Jungkook actually liked it. Even if he had not said it in words yet, his eyes were overflowing with excitement.

This change in her son occurred way too fast to be real but Mrs. Jeon was not complaining. If anything, she was immensely grateful to Namjoon who always tried to socialize her son at every chance he got. She made a mental note to properly thank him for this huge favor, later.

After dinner, Jimin and Jungkook helped Mrs. Jeon with the dishes and it was then that Jungkook realized his father wasn't home yet.

"Where's dad?"

"Oh! Sweetie, remember when I said we may have to stay a little longer?"

Jungkook nodded and Mrs. Jeon continued.

"Yeah well, he stayed and I came back. You see, we had to stay for a week but one of us could leave this time. So, I left. He will be coming back after a week."

"Okay."

Jungkook knew how busy his parents always have been, but he never questioned it. Even if they had to stay away for a long time, just like now. He knew that they were not doing all that for themselves only, but for him as well. Well, mostly for him, actually. So he was rather thankful than disrespectful.

When they were done with the dishes, Jungkook and Jimin went to Jungkook's room. While changing, Jungkook recalled he had to ask why Jimin had to wait for him at his house.

"So, how did it go Jiminie? Did you finally talk to him today?"

Jimin put his phone down and motioned for Jungkook to sit with him.

"You will not believe what went down.."

Flashback

The Previous Day

Jimin entered the cafe right on time, again. He was a little early actually, but that was exactly what he intended. He wanted to be there before someone came.

He was sitting on the table near the window at the back from where he could keep an eye on the entire area without looking like he was trying to find a certain someone.

Five minutes later, the door bell chimed causing Jimin to perk up. He was busy day dreaming and had not seen the said someone passing right past his view and into the cafe.

He immediately straightened himself up and revised the lines he had memorized all morning, one more time.

/Okay, Jimin. You have got this. You have totally got this. Just man up and talk to him today. Yes. Talk. To the handsome guy. Who will NOT judge you. Definitely not. Maybe a litt.. NO! Bad Jimin, bad. Be positive. Think about good things. His good looks. His perfect eyes. His gummy smile. His veiny hands. I need to talk to him. And I will./

After a long pep talk with himself, Jimin got up and walked towards a mint haired guy who was cleaning a table at the moment. Jimin was sweating badly by the time he covered such a small distance but he could not back out now.

"Um.. Hey?" Jimin wanted to get swallowed up right there for squeaking like that.

The person addressed straightened up and looked behind him to see a boy of almost same height standing there, nervous to the bone.

"Hey."

Jimin pat himself on the back for surviving that far and begged his mouth to work properly.

"Sorry to.. um.. to bother you. I just.. wanted to know.. um.." Jimin could not manage to say a single sentence without stammering and he hated it. He had been practicing his lines for days now, but the moment his eyes met with those of his crush, he went blank. He wanted to impress him, but instead he was making a fool out of himself.

"Yoongi."

Jimin looked up in confusion. "What?"

"My name. It is Yoongi. Min Yoongi." And he smiled at him. Jimin felt like he was going to melt into to puddle of mush right there. In his epic moment of happiness, he did not realize the blush he had on display, which Yoongi found cute, by the way.

"You are not going to tell yours?" Snapping him out of his lala land, Yoongi asked in a calm yet sweet tone.

"Uh yes. Jimin. Park Jimin." Jimin immediately extended his hand out and when the other held it, Jimin was flipping out internally.

"Well, Jimin, I have to work now. But I guess I will see you around?" Yoongi flashed him another one of his gummy smile and Jimin could not say 'no' even if his life depended on it - not that it was ever gonna happen, anyway.

"YES! I..I mean, of course." His excitement was way out of control. After bidding farewell, Jimin walked away only to run at top speed the moment he left the shop, a goofy grin on his handsome face the entire way back.

The Next Day

Jimin looked at himself in the full length mirror one more time before leaving. He had to be perfect and elegant, without looking over the roof. It was his first day of officially meeting Yoongi on a planned time. He was beyond excited. He would not call it a date yet, because he had not properly asked him out. So, it was only a meeting for now. But he would love it if he could manage to reach the stage of dating with him. Before dwelling deeper into it, he gave himself a nod in the mirror and left.

Yoongi was on time, as usual. Jimin had already been waiting for him. Jimin had made quite an impression on him the previous day with his cute stammer and blush. So, Yoongi was kind of, looking forward to meeting him today.

"Hi Yoongi." Jimin chirped, without stuttering, thankfully.

"Hey."

Jimin fidgeted in his place as he could not find the words to keep the conversation going. Yoongi took this chance to take in the appearance of the boy who evidently, had put up an effort in dressing up.

"You look really good." Jimin flushed at the sudden compliment and tried to keep himself composed. But, boy was he out of the cage in his head.

"Thanks. You too. Well, you always do." The last part came out of no where and Jimin's eyes went wide. He just outed himself and was about to get humiliated before even knowing if he did or did not have a chance with the older.

Yoongi, however, chuckled at the flustered state of Jimin in front of him. He was too adorable to be real and Yoongi liked him already.

"How old are you, Jimin?" Ending his inner turmoil, Yoongi brought Jimin back to earth who was glad for not being called out already.

"I'm 20."

"Dongsaeng it is, then. I'm 23."

"Oh" Jimin wanted to keep talking but his mouth and mind were both malfunctioning. He was thankful when Yoongi did not let the flame go out and proposed an idea.

"I will be free early tomorrow. Do you want to come over?"

Jimin blushed for the hundredth time. He could not believe this was happening. His crush had now become his friend. Not only that, but he had also asked Jimin to come over at his place. Jimin was so happy that he could not help but imagine holding hands with Yoongi and cuddling with him on a couch on a cold day. He was lost in his wonderland, once again, so Yoongi asked again.

"Is that a 'no'?"

Jimin almost snapped his neck by violently shaking his head when he heard that. He mentally kicked himself for spacing out over and over, but responded still.

"Oh no no no. I want to come. I really do. Sorry, I mean I would like to come." Jimin thought that if it was not for the plan next day, he would have jumped off of the cliff by now because of all the embarrassing things he had done so far.

End of flashback

"... Then I ran over here to tell you all that, but you were not here. And then I asked your mother about you. Big mistake. She thought I knew about it already but seeing me questioning her, she almost fainted." Jimin's tone changed from super excited to slightly sad.

"We called you again and again. We texted you. Hell, I even sent voice messages. I never send those. But I did. Still, there was no response. When it got dark, she said we should report you missing. She could not take it anymore. We were just talking about that when you called. And~ you know the next stuff. So yeah, that is about it."

Jungkook did no want to ruin Jimin's special moment by discussing his mistake again so he ignored the last part entirely.

"So Yoongi, was it? And you are going to his house tomorrow, then?"

Jimin instantly beamed at the name and nodded like a three year old.

"You bet."
