Jungkook woke up on something soft and furrowed his eye brows without opening his eyes. He remembered sleeping against a tree and trees aren't this soft. He opened his eyes slightly and was met with a fabric only an inch away from his face. Jungkook blinked as his eyes finally opened up completely and he realized that the soft something was actually someone. He looked up to see who had been so kind to let him sleep on them instead of against the hard tree.

When his eyes caught Taehyung's sleepy face Jungkook shot up. Why and how was he sleeping in Taehyung's lap? When Jungkook tried to move further away he felt his hand gripped. He looked down and saw Taehyung's hand holding his own newly bandaged one. Who changed his dressing? Jungkook's question was soon answered when his eyes landed on the first aid box lying next to Taehyung.

Jungkook sighed as he stopped the thoughts from invading his mind and tried to free his hand from Taehyung. But he couldn't do it when Taehyung tightened his grip and mumbled a small 'no'. Jungkook knew Taehyung was asleep and unaware of the situation but his heart still skipped a beat at the whimper.

He tried again but Taehyung still didn't let go. Instead he pulled the hand to his chest and held it tightly. Jungkook saw that and let out a sad chuckle.
"You kiss Sungjae when you're awake and hold my hand in your sleep? What exactly are you trying to do?"

Of course, Taehyung didn't reply given that he was sound asleep. Jungkook kept looking at him, trying to find something to make himself hate Taehyung but there was nothing. Even though he had said it multiple times already but it wasn't true. He wanted to hate Taehyung but the truth was that he felt total opposite of that.

Yes. He loved him. No matter how hard he tried to deny it and lie to himself he still couldn't remove the bright big words that appeared like neon board signs in his mind at the sight of this boy that clearly said how hard he had fallen for Taehyung.

Jungkook laughed silently at the thought and mumbled softly.
"Who could've thought a month ago that I would be the love loser I am right now?"

He closed his eyes and let his mind drift to the time he met Taehyung for the first time. It seemed like years ago, now. He felt his hand move again and Jungkook opened his to see Taehyung turning aside while still holding onto Jungkook's hand. Jungkook smiled to himself trying to forget for a moment that he had lost Taehyung to a bartender. Even if it was just a fantasy now, he still wanted to think about the unrealistic situation and be happy about it as long as Taehyung was asleep. No one would know but him about how lovesick he was and what he wanted if he could have had his way.

Jungkook took in a breath before bringing Taehyung to himself and laying him on his own lap. He studied Taehyung's features and took in every detail of the boy who was so far away from his reach now and tried to savor the moment he had even if it wasn't exactly how he wanted it.

"I love you, Tae." Jungkook whispered so softly as if his words would shatter the glass like moment if he spoke louder.
"I wish I had a chance to say it to you but I don't. And I never will, now."

Taehyung shuffled again in his lap and Jungkook zipped his lips, afraid that he might have woken up the sleeping beauty. When Taehyung's soft breathing resumed Jungkook released a sigh of relief. That was close.

He stayed put after that for a long time just watching Taehyung sleep soundly. A sudden thought popped in his head as he gazed at the boy but he jerked his head away with a slight blush and a small smile that he tried to hide from his own self.

/No. No way. I won't do it./

But you want to.

Jungkook fought against the voice in his head for a good five minutes until he gave up. He lost to the voice and was now blushing madly. He felt bad about it but he couldn't deny that he wanted to kiss Taehyung, again. Although, the first time was unexpected and he did push him away after only two or three seconds, it didn't change the fact that they kissed and, since no one was listening, Jungkook admitted to himself that he wanted to stay that way for longer. But he couldn't, because of obvious reasons.

The memory saddened Jungkook as his eyes landed back on the sleeping boy in his lap and he whispered.
"Why did you have to complicate everything?"

Jungkook stared at him for a few seconds before he leaned down and planted a small peck on Taehyung's lips. But he couldn't pull away. He wanted to but he couldn't. He knew it was wrong for a lot of reasons but Taehyung was too intoxicating and Jungkook felt like he just got glued to him. He closed his eyes and, maybe he was just too crazy but after a few moments, he felt Taehyung kissing him back. Jungkook didn't open his eyes since he wasn't ready to face the reality yet but when his conscience gave him a pitiful sight of him watching Sungjae and Taehyung from earlier today, Jungkook pulled back. Once he straightened his back he finally opened his eyes but looked ahead directly. He couldn't look at Taehyung. He might not be able to look at him for a long time, now.

"Why did you stop?"

Jungkook's eyes went as wide as a spaceship as he begged the skies to let it be his imagination.

"Kookie? Why did you stop?"

Unfortunately, it wasn't. Taehyung was really awake. That also meant that Taehyung was really kissing him back. That also meant that Taehyung was really aware of his stupid little stunt the whole time. Jungkook flushed deep red out of embarrassment for being caught red handed. He just told Taehyung today that he hated him and didn't want to see him but right now, he just kissed him, in his sleep, no less.

How long had been awake? Did he hear everything? Jungkook was starting to sweat.

Taehyung sat up slowly as he yawned and stretched before looking at the nervous boy. He could read him like a book right now and before Jungkook could try, Taehyung grabbed his arm stopping his attempt of running again, before he even tried.
"Please, stop running. Just once. Give me a chance to defend myself, just once. That's all I'm asking."

Jungkook bit his cheek as he tried to force himself to get up and run but he couldn't. He had been doing that a lot and it shouldn't be a problem but the thought that Taehyung kissed him back just now made him develop a small hope that he knew very well was just a mere fantasy. He, kind of, wanted him to say that everything was all one big mistake. But Jungkook knew that he just had to wait a little while until Taehyung repeated the truth and his small building of hope would come crashing down.

Even though, he knew it was pathetic to hope for something like that after seeing them kiss on the hill with his own eyes, but Jungkook still wanted to hang on to that childishly obnoxious hope till the very end as he sighed and relaxed back.

At least, Taehyung wasn't talking about his crazy slip up just now. It would be really embarrassing to explain why he did that.

Okay so I need some opinion... Should I keep it in the fluff category or should I add smut??? The content of next chapters depend on your answer.

But I must tell you beforehand that if you choose smut then you'll have to wait for a little longer than usual because I'll have to think a lot- like ALLLLOOOTTTT, to write a decent smut (wow those two words have NO business with each other, but whatever)...

So, anyways tell me what you think and I'll mold the story, accordingly...

Thanks for reading, voting and commenting... Love you guys... 😍😘
