Next Day

Taehyung and Hoseok were waiting for Jin, Taehyung's elder brother, to pick them up from school but they were not alone. A huge crowd of girls was waiting along with them. Why?

Because of Kim Seokjin, of course. He was the drool-worthy brother of one of the students in their school who came to pick his younger sibling last week and left quite an impression on all who saw him.

The Kim brothers had been blessed with gorgeous looks that would turn every head and make every straight person question their orientation when they would walk by. The difference, however, lied in their personalities. Taehyung was cheerful, loud and a free spirit. He did whatever he felt like, without caring whatsoever is expected of him. Jin, on the other hand, was a very sensible yet sweet and caring person with a loving persona.

Taehyung was not lacking in any way when it came to looks, but because of his obnoxious and cheery attitude at all times, his visual beauty was often overlooked. He did not care, though. Jin's personality on the contrary, was like a magnet that attracted everyone towards him and his visuals only added to his charms.

And that was exactly what happened last week. Their mother was unable to pick Taehyung and Hoseok from school so she had asked Jin to go instead. When he arrived at the school he made a huge mistake of getting out of the car. As soon as the girls saw him they lost their minds and started squealing as they surrounded him. He managed to get out of there alive that day with the two boys but swore to never come to pick up them again. His resolve was broken, however, because after that day his mother put that task completely on his shoulders leading him to face the same situation. Every. Day. No matter how hard he tried to disguise himself the girls would figure him out somehow and it would be the same thing, all over again.

Today was no different, if the crowd was any indication of that. As soon as Jin stopped his car, the gathering and giggling started. But Jin seemed to have come today with a different mindset- a different resolve. He opened his door and stepped out, willingly. Girls were already squealing in his ears but he did not pay attention to it. He cleared his throat to get their attention and once the voices died down enough, he announced, loudly, with a smile.

"I like BOYS!"

Emphasizing on the last word to clear any misconceptions his audience might excuse about. Content with the reaction he got, he nodded to himself and turned towards the two boys who were now gapping at him just like the rest of the crowd was. He smiled brightly again.

"Hop in~"

Both Taehyung and Hoseok were speechless so they just obeyed without uttering a single word. It was silent for a while in the car until they took the turn from their school road. When out of the sight of the shocked crowd they left behind, Taehyung cleared his throat and tried to put a decent sentence out there to kill the awkward silence. But before he could say anything Hoseok suddenly hugged Jin from behind scaring him out of his wits.

"YAH! We could have died!"

But he did not listen to Jin's complain. Instead, he hugged him harder and almost yelled in his ear.

"I'M SO PROUD OF YOU HYUNG! YOU FINALLY CAME OUT OF THE CLOSET!"

Before anyone could respond, he added in a smug matter-of-fact tone.

"I knew it, by the way. I always knew you liked boys. Tae and I even made a bet. He said you are bi (bisexual) but I said you are definitely gay."

Still not allowing the others to speak he continued while tapping Taehyung on his shoulder, more like punching him.

"Pay up Tae Tae. You owe me." His hand stretched open over Taehyung's shoulder who was in the passenger seat, waiting.

"Don't call me that, you horse." Hoseok hated that nick name but he ignored it with a roll of his eyes.

"Whatever. Money, now!"

Taehyung finally dropped a few bucks in his hand and turned to Jin who seemed very focused on the road ahead.

"Uh.. Hyung?"

"Yes?"

Jin was calm which was always a good thing. So Taehyung felt a little less awkward now. But he was still planning on being careful. After all, it was his big brother's personal decision he was going to talk about. He would not have cared about anyone else but Jin.. Jin is special. And not just because he was his hyung but also because he was a very sensitive person regardless of how nonchalant he may seen. Therefore, he could not joke about the situation with him without knowing the truth. So, he started hesitatingly and looked over to see the elder's reaction.

"Was that true? You know.... what you said back there."

Jin looked over at his brother and could clearly see how nervous he was. This was why Jin loved him so much. No matter how much of a heartless person his dongsaeng appeared to be, deep down his heart was still a mush, especially when it came to his loved ones. He would never do anything to purposely hurt those around him. And seeing him being so careful with his words right now made him love Taehyung even more. He smiled to put him at ease and patted his head lovingly.

"It was a joke, Tae. It was embarrassing to face them like that on daily basis. I tried everything but all was in vain. This was my last option. I hope it does not cause you any trouble in school."

Taehyung returned the smile as they pulled up in front of their house. When Jin unlocked the doors Taehyung held his arm lightly to get his attention. When Jin turned around Taehyung's eyes were soft and he smiled at him.

"Hyung, I will always be on your side. You know that, right?" Jin smiled back and nodded knowingly so Taehyung continued.

"The bet was a joke. We did not actually make one. He just thought that up on the spot so that you do not feel uncomfortable."

Taehyung paused to look at Hoseok making Jin look at him too. Hoseok nodded at them to show his support.

"We would never judge you, hyung. And neither would mom and dad."

"Thank you Tae, Hobi. That really touched my heart and I really appreciate your thoughts. But I really did mean that as a joke back there. However, if in the future I find out that I prefer boys, I will surely tell you guys first. I promise that. Okay?"

Both younger ones smiled and nodded at him before grabbing their bags and leaving the car. As usual, Hoseok was crashing at Taehyung's place.

They all greeted Mrs. Kim before going to their rooms. After reaching Taehyung's room, both boys threw their bags in the corner of the room and changed into casual attire. Noticing a pair of eyes piercing holes in his back Taehyung looked over to see Hoseok looking very serious.

"What's wrong, Hobi?"

"Do you think he was lying just now? Jin hyung, I mean."

Taehyung almost laughed at him. Just as expected of him, Jung Hoseok was yet again over thinking.

"No. He knows us better than to lie to us. He is just very busy with his responsibilities to think about such trivial things."

Taehyung was too tired to have a debate with him right now about whether his brother did or did not mean what he said a little while ago. This could be done after they had taken a nap. After all, they had a long day playing pranks on people at school. They needed to rest their bodies and minds to think up some new ones for the next day. So he had to cut this conversation right at the nib.

"Just sleep for now, okay? We can talk about that later. It's not like he will run away while we are asleep. Besides.." An evil idea popped up in Taehyung's sleepy head and he grinned widely at Hoseok.
"Who needs to ask him? We can always find out on our own, can we not?"

Catching on with Taehyung's idea quickly, Hoseok's worries died right away and he chuckled.
"You are right! We can definitely do that. That is genius."

"You mean, we are genius." Taehyung corrected him tiredly while slipping under the covers of his bed and moving towards the wall to make room for the other, who soon followed and slipped in next to him.

"Yeah, we." His eyes were already getting droopy and soon they both both fell asleep.
