No one's P.O.V.

Jimin and Jungkook sat there staring at their bowls, trying to absorb the bomb Jungkook's mother just dropped. If it was just her leaving the job, it wouldn't be that hard to handle but both of his parents doing it, all of a sudden, was too much of a shock.

"Stop trying to solve another case Sherlock and Watson. You have school and you don't want to be late. Scram, now." Mrs. Jeon pulled both boys up slightly bringing them back to earth.

Jungkook shook his head and quickly rushed to his room to grab his bag. He said a small goodbye as he moved out. Jimin was already out, by then, and was waiting for him outside the house. When the door closed behind Jungkook, Jimin inched near him and started.

"Hey, I-"

Jungkook didn't let him say another word as he put both of his index fingers in either ear and walked away quickly. He didn't want to hear anything from Jimin but he couldn't really stop his ears from working so he had no other option than to create a distance enough to make the shorter boy stop talking.

Jimin sighed at the reaction and combed his hand through his hair as he followed behind, slowly. This was going to be much difficult than he thought but that's exactly what he was expecting.

The entire day, Jimin tried to talk to Jungkook, walk with him, sit beside him or do anything he could possibly think of but Jungkook avoided him every time without letting him say a single word.

During lunch time Jungkook disappeared from the cafeteria silently so that Jimin couldn't find him. He went to the bathroom and sat there the whole time. Why? Because he needed to think. Granted, he was mad at Jimin and wanted to avoid him today but he had an even more serious problem that he needed to think about.

The revelation from the morning.

His mother was right about the fact that both of his parents had to work a lot. They only got weekends off and even then, they had bundles of papers they would need to take care of, before Mondays. Although they never complained about it, that didn't mean it was not hard on them. They were just enduring it. So it's understandable if they wanted to quit.

But what Jungkook was worried about most was the thought that this would mean sudden cut off of income. How could his parents not think of an alternative before taking this step? He wasn't mad at them. He was worried. If only they had told him sooner he would have gotten himself several part time jobs. How could he find one quickly, now?

Jungkook tugged at his hair and groaned slightly but then quickly covered his mouth. He was still in the bathroom and since no one could see what he was doing inside, that sound could be mistaken for something else. Just as the thought appeared, Taehyung's face popped up along with it and Jungkook was red from head to toe.

He vigorously shook his head and slapped his face with both hands lightly, not to make any sound.

/What the hell? No. Just NO! Why did I.. Ugghh! You have got to be kidding me!/

Jungkook was busy fighting with his mind when a knock jolted him. He sat up straight and held his breath. Why was he scared, though? The question made him realize that he was over reacting, again.

"Kookie, when will you come out? The bell is about to ring any second now?" It was Jimin's sweet and soft voice that could melt any heart, but not Jungkook's. He was still mad at him and he wasn't going to answer him, no matter what.

JUNGKOOK'S P.O.V.

"Kookie?" He asks again. How did he even know I was in here? I was sure that I tricked him.

"I'm busy."

Silence

"Oh"

"Shit! That's not what I meant."

I immediately jump up and open the door before Jimin could get any funny ideas.

Unfortunately, I was welcomed with a snicker.

"You shouldn't have left midway." And with that he burst out laughing holding his stomach.

Great. Just great. I glare daggers at him and walk away.

------

TAEHYUNG'S P.O.V.

I get out of the house and start walking towards mine. Hoseok can come on his own so I don't wait for him. When I reach my home, I move straight up to my room and plop on the bed.

The amount of guilt building inside me is beyond explainable. It's so frustrating that I can't even lie down so I sit up, bringing my knees to my chest as I hugged them and put my chin atop.

I hear angry footsteps stomping their way up to me. I know who it is and why they are angry. The damn door, again. I am too disturbed right now to care about the stupid door, plus Hoseok has yet to come.

"KIM FUCKING TAEHYUNG! WHEN WILL YOU- are you alright?" Jin hyung's outburst was cut off when his eyes landed on my brooding self. Worry graced his features immediately and he hurried to sit in front of me.

"Tae, what is it?"

I sigh and close my eyes for a moment.

"Hyung, I messed up, big time."

"You can tell me anything, baby brother. What happened?"

I cross my legs and sit up straight as I sigh deeply, once more.

"You remember Jungkook, right?" Jin hyung nods and I continue.

"Well, Hoseok had this idea that we should prank him since he loved all of our previous ones, a lot." He nods again but stays quiet.

"So, we did just that. But it backfired and now I don't know what to do to make him talk to me again." I put my head in my hands.

"What exactly did you guys do, Tae?" He sounds concerned but I can't tell for whom, us or Jungkook?

I sigh again. I don't know how much am I going to do that tonight.

"Well, his best friend, Jimin, was going on a date with Yoongi hyung so we thought of faking his disappearance. We managed to convince both of them but Jimin kept saying it was too much and we shouldn't do it. But Hoseok said it would be fine so I didn't mind either. But-"

I had to pause to take a breath because I had been talking in one breath without realizing.

"But he didn't take it very well. Jungkook, I mean. He_he just lost his soul when he found out and_and he didn't shout or curse at us. He didn't even tell us to get out. He just ignored us like we were invisible, all of a sudden. It was so scary, hyung~ I have never seen anyone act like that." I had my head in my hands again.

Right then, I recalled something and whined loudly. Jin hyung was probably looking for a solution for my first mistake but now I think I need one for one more.

The park. I pulled off a hideous act in the park a few days back and unfortunately, that was also on Jungkook. When he finds out about that, Jungkook is going to kill me.

I whine again. Hyung hasn't said anything yet. Why isn't he trying to help me? I look up to pout at him but when I lift my head I know I'm screwed. He looks pissed off. Well hyung, get ready to blow up because here comes my second glorious confession.

Before he spoke I started.

"I think I'm in deeper trouble than just this." His eye brow rises as if mocking me 'what could be worse than this?'

"That day when we were playing truth and dare, I was dared to do something really stupid. Um, it just so happened that Jungkook was the target that day as well." I drop my head down before he hits me because I know that's what he's going to do.

"WHAT? You told me you would never do something like that and- oh my GOD, TAEHYUNG!" I flinch at his loud voice but remain silent for my own good. I had lied to him that day saying that I had denied it but I actually hadn't which he found out just now.

"I can't believe you did that. If it was me you had done that to, I would have ripped your insides out right there."

Oh God! That is so disgusting. I didn't realize he would go that far but then again, I did so, too so I guess I deserve this kind of lecture, right now.

"What's going on?" I look up and find Hoseok in the doorway.

"YOU!" Hyung is about to burst tonight.

Hoseok looks at him in confusion.
"Me what, hyung?"

Jin hyung stands up immediately and grabs him by the ear.
"Ow ow ow oooww, hyung, ow, hurts, oww."

I couldn't help but giggle at the sight but my laugh turned into the same melody as Hoseok in a second as Jin hyung took my ear in his other hand.
"Wha- ahh, hyung, shit, ow, oh, ow, wait, ow."

He drags us both downstairs just like that as we keep trying to save our ears from ripping off.

"You both need to learn a lesson good enough to never make the same mistake again."

I can't think what he meant because my ear feels like it's bleeding now. I hope he doesn't really rip it off like he threatened back in the room.
