Taehyung joined the others soon and was just in time to wave Jungkook away. Since Jungkook's school was different from that of Hoseok and Taehyung's, he bid them farewell and went his own way.

He pulled his phone out on his way to try Jimin's number again. The call directly went to voice mail. Jungkook sighed and left him a text. He hoped to see Jimin in school but there was small voice in the back of his mind that was trying to give him warning signals. Jungkook ignored that voice by shaking his head and went to school.

Classes went by, one after the other, but Jimin wasn't there, again. Jungkook kept glancing at his phone, at Jimin's seat and at the hallway during all the classes wishing to catch a glimpse of the short boy. He, unfortunately, was unable to.

When the final bell rang indicating the end of the school time, Jungkook's shoulders slumped. Jimin didn't attend the school two days in a row. Now, Jungkook was staring to worry. He went home and contemplated what he should do to find out about Jimin without letting anyone else know about it.

He was on his bed turning sides from time to time, out of restlessness. Where could Jimin be? What could he be doing? Why doesn't he answer his phone? Who could be with him? Is there a possibility that he is in danger?

Jungkook sat up in frustration and decided to go and look for Jimin instead of just lying on his bed thinking about pointless things. The first place that came to his mind was Taehyung's house. Hoseok mentioned that him and Taehyung knew Yoongi already so he could ask them about Jimin's whereabouts. Jungkook shook his head in rejection at the thought. He wouldn't involve anyone in this. What if Jimin was actually fine and he makes a fool out of himself in front of Jimin's date? He wouldn't want any audience to witness that scene, now would he?

The next idea was to go to the cafe where Yoongi worked and check if he was there or not. He remembered that Jimin went out with him on Friday because it was Yoongi's only day off in the whole week, which meant that today, he should be on duty. Nodding to himself, Jungkook grabbed his phone and wallet as left the house telling his mother that he was going to the book store to meet Nam Joon.

When he reached the cafe, Jungkook took a deep breath in, and pushed open the door. He stayed at his spot as he entered and looked around for two familiar faces, Jimin's and Yoongi's. The place was small so it shouldn't be difficult to spot them. After failing to do so, he went straight to the counter where a young girl was standing who started blushing at his sight.

"Hello sir! H_how may I help you?" She asked stuttering and shying.

Jungkook didn't have time nor any interest for this type of thing, so he went directly to his point.

"Um, yes. Is Yoongi hyung here yet?" He tried his best to cover the panic that was building up inside him.

The girl shook her head in response.
"No sir, he is on a sick leave for a week. He hasn't come for two days."

A week of sick leave?

Jungkook knew what he wanted to know next.

"Can you please give me his address?" If Yoongi was sick, he must be resting at his house and knowing how love sick Jimin was for him, he wouldn't leave him alone in such condition. So that meant that Jimin was at Yoongi's house, too. Jungkook prayed that his hypothesis was correct.

The girl giggled a little before answering making Jungkook raise an eyebrow at her.
"I can't provide you his address, sir. I'm sorry. He didn't give us one. Said that it was too much of an effort to write it. We barely managed to get his name and number. He is a very lazy guy." She laughed softly, again.

Jungkook didn't find that least bit amusing. If anything, he became suspicious of Yoongi. He thanked her anyway and left the shop.

Jungkook let out a breathy sigh when he came out. Danger alarms were going off in his mind and messed up thoughts were invading his head. This was the first time that Jungkook felt this sense of losing something important. Normally, he wouldn't really care but it wasn't just anyone this time, it was Jimin.

Jungkook paused in his tracks as he realized something.

Yoongi was Nam Joon's new neighbour.

Jungkook hurried over to Nam Joon's house. Now he wasn't sure whether it was the right house or the left. He went for the right one first and rang the bell. As seconds ticked by Jungkook became more and more impatient. He was about to ring it again when the door opened. Before Jungkook could barge in, a little girl appeared at the door halting him in his attempt.

"Who are you, ajusshi?" The girl asked.

Jungkook regained his composure and crouched down to meet her at eye level and smiled at her.

"Hey. Um, do you know someone named Yoongi?" He mustered his best baby voice and asked her.

The girl smiled brightly and nodded.
"He lives in that black and white house." She pointed to the house on the left side of Nam Joon's house and Jungkook saw a ray of hope, again.

Jungkook quickly thanked her and patted her head before getting up and following her direction. When he reached the house he rang the bell and waited. A minute passed and no response came so he rang it again. And then again. And again. And again. He was frustrated now and didn't remove his hand from the bell.

Why wasn't anyone answering? What is going on?

Jungkook stepped back a little and looked up to see if he could take a look inside through the widows. Unfortunately, the curtains were pulled in front of it, blocking the view.

Jungkook kicked the grass in anger. Yes, anger. The worry from before, had turned into frustration which had turned into rage now. He stormed over at Nam Joon's house and aggressively knocked at his door. Nam Joon opened up within a minute and was shocked to see the sight of Jungkook. Face showing a deep frown, breathing ragged and fists curled as if he was going to punch whatever or whoever came in his way.

"What happened, Jungkook? Is everything alright?" Nam Joon asked, worry lacing his words, as he stepped aside letting Jungkook in.

"No, hyung. Jimin is missing. It's been two days now. I can't reach him nor the guy he went on a date with." Jungkook just blurted out everything. It was his hyung, so he didn't have to worry about what he said.

Jungkook's eyes were tearing up a little but he blinked them away furiously. Nam Joon sat him on the couch in his living room and brought him a glass of water.

"Don't worry. We'll find him. Just calm down and tell me everything from the beginning." Nam Joon told him in a reassuring tone making Jungkook slightly feel better.

------

"I don't know what else to do, hyung. I'm so worried." Jungkook dropped his head in his hands after he ended his briefing. Nam Joon rubbed his back and reassured him that he would help him in any way he could.
