Hoseok and Jungkook were still staring at the point of disappearance of the bike when Hoseok's phone rang.

"What?" He sounded irritated.

"Did you get it all?"

"For the tenth time Taehyung, yes, I have got everything you asked for. Every. Single. Thing. If you call me one more time to ask the same thing, I swear Tae, I'm gonna burn everything right here."

"Okay okay, just checking. Don't- don't burn it. Please?"

Hoseok could tell taehyung was making puppy eyes right now.

/Does he not have enough brain power to know it's not a video call and I can't see him?/

Hoseok sighed. When he looked up Jungkook was looking at him with a hundred question marks printed on his face, which he thought was really cute, by the way.

"Oh and Tae?"

"Yeah?"

"I'm bringing Jungkook with me."

"Really? That's great."

"Yeah. See you later."

With that he hung up.

Now, he had to answer all the queries of his dongsaeng before his curiosity exploded him into tiny pieces.

"I can tell you have a lot to ask, Jungkookie. So, go ahead."

Jungkook felt a little embarrassed at being caught but he had experienced it before. Hoseok, somehow, always knew what was going on in Jungkook's head even though he didn't voice it and he realized that that's what made talking to Hoseok more comfortable. But still, being called out suddenly could leave a man flustered and that's exactly what Jungkook thought had happened just now.

"Um, it's just, how do you know Yoongi hyung?" He finally asked it.

"You remember professor Nam Joon?" Hoseok answered his question with another question to which Jungkook gave a small nod.

"Him and hyung are neighbours. He is a really cool guy. Yoongi hyung, I mean." Hoseok's face became thoughtful as he talked. "He might look rude or arrogant but he isn't. Quite the opposite, in fact."

He giggled as he remembered Yoongi being lovesick when he was talking about Jimin while being drunk a few days back. He came out of his trance as he remembered that Jungkook was there.

"We went over at professor's place about a month ago and found out that he had a new neighbor. Professor had invited him for the dinner that day and that's when Taehyung and I met him"

When Hoseok paused to take a sip of water, Jungkook took the time to sink in all the information he was given.

"You know what he said about professor?" Of course Jungkook didn't know what Hoseok was talking about. Nam Joon didn't tell him all the details when he mentioned about the new neighbour, partly because Jungkook didn't ask. So Jungkook shook his head.

"He said that Nam Joon doesn't bother me."
Hoseok laughed at the memory but Jungkook was unable to get the joke. Still, being the polite one, he smiled at the other.

"You don't get it, do you?" Jungkook felt embarrassed again as he shook his head and looked down.

"You see, Yoongi hyung loves to sleep and he hates it when he is woken up. Unless he wakes up on his own, he will always be grumpy when anyone tries to get him out of his bed. So, when he moved to this city and found an apartment, he didn't think much and moved in immediately. Now here's the funny part." Hoseok pointed out for Jungkook

"He didn't know what type of neighbours he had, okay?" Jungkook quickly gave a nod.

"So, the very next day, which was his free day because he hadn't started a job yet, there was banging at his door. Not knocking, but banging. And do you know what time it was?" Jungkook shook his head instantly.

"It was seven, Kookie. Seven. In the morning." Hoseok started laughing again. Jungkook had somewhat grasped the situation and was giggling too.

"Anyways, he ignored it. And after what felt like hours, the banging finally stopped and he fell asleep again. But then it happened in the evening, again. And guess what?"

"What?" Jungkook asked.

"He was, unfortunately, sleeping at that time too. Poor hyung. But he ignored it that time too. Now, when the same thing happened the very next day again, he lost it. He was so angry when he heard it again, that he stormed out of his room and swung the entrance door open so forcefully that it was a miracle that it didn't break. Now here's the funny part again. There was a woman standing there, almost the same age as his mother. Before he could bad mouth her, she gasped as she saw him and instantly pulled him in a bone crushing hug. The lady kept saying things like 'welcome' 'we are your neighbors' 'you are so handsome' and things like that but hyung was so startled that he didn't understand what was happening. Let me remind you again that it was seven a.m. when this happened."

Hoseok had paused to breathe before continuing. As for Jungkook, he had now seen Yoongi so he could tell how he would look when was mad and it was even funnier imagining him with his messy morning hair, being mad and then being hugged by an aged woman, out of the blue. The whole picture his mind made for him was far too hilarious and he was laughing like crazy along with Hoseok who was already tearing up from laughter by reliving the memory. Hoseok took another sip of water to calm himself down before continuing.

"But hyung couldn't understand anything. He just tried to get out of her grip because his neck felt like breaking. And when he did he glared at her, hard, so she could stop talking. Thankfully she did but she looked at him all confused like she didn't do anything wrong and that just made him even more furious. He slammed the door right in her face before going back to bed. But he couldn't sleep at all. So, he made up his mind. It was that moment, that second morning that he decided that there was no way he would be staying there for even one more day. He searched for another place and visited the neighbours first before checking the house itself. If he didn't like them, he would leave the place and look for another one. You can imagine his frustration by the fact that he found the new place that same day."

Hoseok wiped his tears as he ended the story.

"He must have had a huge trauma from three episodes of that banging that he found a new place on the second day." Jungkook said after they stopped laughing.

"Tell me about it." Hoseok giggled.

A comfortable silence fell upon them.

Hoseok seemed to be very open towards Jungkook because of which he had a great time with Hoseok, again.

"Are all of your friends like this? I mean, they are all exciting. No one has a boring life." Jungkook complimented him after a while.

Hoseok only chuckled at the remarks. "I guess."

"You know, there's a secret that professor hasn't told anyone yet, but we found it out on our own. Wanna know?" Hoseok asked Jungkook after another moment of silence and, as expected, the younger one could not say 'no'.

"I'll tell you on the way. Let's go."

Jungkook almost jumped out of his seat which made Hoseok chuckle again. He was excited because he could tell it was going to be an interesting walk since Hoseok didn't seem to be running out of fun fuel anytime soon.

As Jungkook had hoped, his new friends had, indeed, turned out to be just as amazing as Jimin. Even if it had been only a day since he met them, Jungkook had the same feeling about them that he had for Jimin. He figured he was kind of an idiot magnet. He wasn't complaining, though. They were the only fun element in his boring life, after all.
