The day has finally come when Danny would meet his Mate before eventually leaving with him to his new home.

He had to say, he was pretty nervous about the whole thing. It didn't help that his family went into over-protective mode.

They had coddled him the entire day, tears flowing down their faces at the thought of losing him to some stranger.

He couldn't really hold it against them, they were his family and they had never entertained the thought of any of them moving away from Henley-on-Thames until Danny's results came in.

They had all hoped that his Mate would live somewhere close by even if not in the same county.

He had already packed everything he needed and had placed the bag on the couch in the living room.

He knew that seeing his bag would really solidify the fact that he would be moving soon and his family seemed to think the same as they did their best to avoid the living room.

His parents were so over-the-top that they invited all of their family and his friends for his 'Going Away Party.'"

He had to say that as much as he was kinda annoyed he missed seeing his family as they lived so far away from Reading.

He hadn't seen some of his cousins and Grandparents in a while and this was the perfect opportunity to say goodbye to them instead of doing it over the phone.

Right about now, his shirt was damp with tears and no matter how much he changed it, other family members would just come and soak it once more so he just sighed in resignation and left it.

He couldn't exactly hold it against them so he had refrained from saying anything. He instead allowed them to stick as close to him as they wanted.

Not like he could avoid them since their backyard was packed with family and friends.

Unfortunately, he couldn't even talk to his friends because of his family monopolizing his time.

He had just signalled to friends that he would text them when he had the chance.

"You've already grown so much." His Gran-Gran was crying on his shoulder, her arms wrapped around his neck like an octopus while his family and friends were looking on in amusement. "Ohh, my baby is leaving me!"

Danny pouted but wrapped his arms around her.

"Gran-Gran, I'm not leaving the country, you'll still be able to see me," He whined, resting his cheek against her shoulder.

She was an inch taller than him.

"It still won't be the same." His Grandpa stated, pulling them both into a hug.

Danny pushed his mouth at their babying; he knew that they would eventually release him in their own time even if he begged and pleaded for them to let him go.

Now that would've been a poor choice of words.

And he still had his grandparents on his Dad's side left.

Kill him now.

His cousins would more than likely tease him within an inch of his life and he dreaded being left alone with them.

They weren't known to hold back with teasing one another so he just hoped that they behaved instead of embarrassing him on his last day here.

"Mum, Dad, please don't suffocate my child." His Mum called out, voice tinged with amusement.

Danny grinned into his Gran-Gran's shoulder as they hesitantly released him; he breathed sigh of relief which was cut short when his other Grandparents pulled him into a hug.

Both of his Grandfathers looked as if they could be brothers but thankfully they weren't, they just happened to be each other's doppelganger which that in itself was pretty rare.

Danny sighed and let them hug him as long as they wanted. There really was nothing he could do unless they released him.

This time, it was his father who saved him from suffocating.

"Mum, Dad, I can't even see his face. Can he even breathe?"

His Granny sniffled and dabbed his hair down. "But my baby is going off with some stranger."

Danny was sure that the tips of his ears were reddened
in embarrassment; he could already imagine the teasing looks on his cousins' and siblings' faces.

"He could be some sort of old hermit for all we know. Those Matching Agencies probably didn't take into consideration his age."

"Guys, I promise you that Danny isn't going of with some old hermit." His dad was laughing by now and Danny wished he could swear at him without receiving a life changing slap upside the head.

But thankfully, they released him and he breathed a sigh of relief.

He quickly moved a few steps back incase someone else decided to hug him. He had received enough hugs for the last three hours to last him the rest of his life.

Seeing that both of his parents had successfully distracted his grandparents, he slinked away and towards the Gazebo which thankfully wasn't too occupied.

As he walked closer, he locked eyes with his cousin who grinned at him, beckoning him over.

He smiled, rolling his eyes when she mimicked the posture of an old man, as if to relay that he was too slow.

"Hey, Danny," his cousin Billie greeted before giving him a quick hug. "Don't you feel nervous at all?" she asked, pulling back to look at him in curiosity.

He just shrugged. He had had a month to wrap his mind around it and although one can never be ready to move out of their family home, he was just excited for something new.

Sure, he would miss everybody alot but he was tired of being lonely while everyone paired up. As of right now, the only person who didn't have a special someone was Kylie and that was just because she was too young.

Billie had a boyfriend but he couldn't make it today. He was a Yoga Instructor and his classes were always fully booked. He remembered going to one because Billie had begged him and upon arriving, he saw a bunch of Wolves surrounding the man.

They usually did Yoga in their wolf forms and it was obvious that Gavin, Billie's boyfriend was an Alpha or the Wolves would not listen to him at all.

He was pretty sure that Billie only attended the Yoga classes to keep the other Betas and Omegas away from him.

He couldn't exactly fault her, Gavin was hot as fuck.

"Not really. I got a month to wrap my head around it plus I'm pretty excited to meet my Alpha." He grinned at her. "I'm pretty tired of being alone, you know?"

"Is that so?"

Danny rolled his eyes at the teasing, familiar voice and turned to look at his Uncle Victor who wrapped an arm around his shoulders.

"I didn't realise that I was in a conversation with you," He retorted, not even struggling to get out of Victor's hold.

The guy was 6'2 to Danny's 5'5. Yeah... There was no way that he was getting released unless Victor let him go.

He was his dad's younger brother and he as loathe as would be to say it to his face, Victor was one of his favorite uncles' unlike Corey.

Victor grinned and stretched his other arm out, wrapping it around Billie's neck and dragging her under his other arm. "Hey, family should share everything."

Danny snorted, not even bothering to reply lest his Mum slaps him into next year for swearing.

She was one of those parents who refused to believe that their children swore or had less than innocent thoughts.

They would never think that it was their own children who was the troublemaker but hey, it worked to his advantage so he wasn't about to complain.

Boy, if she knew the amount of times he dreamt of being fucked raw, he would be wearing a chastity belt by now.

"I wish I had thought of taking a pic of the Grandparents cuddling you. I bet my Facebook friends would enjoy that sight."

Danny groaned in annoyance. Couldn't he have some peace for once seeing as he was leaving?

It was kind of a tradition of Victors' to put embarrassing pictures of his family on Facebook and tagging them in it no matter how much time they untagged themselves.

Danny would just ignore the pictures because he got tired of untagging himself only for Victor to tag him back.

"Well look what the cat dragged in. Think you're all that cause you're gonna meet your Mate and they threw this unnecessary party for you? I can bring you back down to our level if you want."

Before Danny could react, he was pulled out from under Victor's arm and came face-to-face with Corey, his Mum's little brother and his freaking uncle.

Corey smirked and buried a hand in Danny's hair, ruffling it up. "I have to admit, your hair looks better like this."

Danny scowled at him for messing up his hairstyle but knew better than to say anything.

Corey was a huge snitch so if he was to tell him his mind, he would run to his Mum and rat him out; he really hated the guy and he was like 1 year older than him.

You would think that they would get on but no, because Corey didn't have any younger siblings so he decided that Danny would be his stand-in brother and therefore was subject to whatever pranks he thought up.

He didn't want Danny calling him uncle because he was too young and even if he didn't kind, there was no way that Danny was going to call him that.

The annoying thing was that he only targeted Danny because Phoebe and Andy would literally skin him alive if he tried pranking them.

He scowled at the smirk on Corey's face, averting his eyes over said guy's shoulder only to focus on an interesting sight.

"You know, instead of focusing on me, you should keep an eye on your Alpha, seems like he has quite the admirers." He gestured with his chin towards where Corey's Alpha Jeremy had their cousins Jamie and Jesse hanging off his arms.

Within seconds, Corey's face formed a scowl and he released Danny who grinned at the feral look in his eyes.

The one good thing which Danny took complete advantage of was Corey's insane jealousy if anyone got too close to Jeremy.

He wondered how Jeremy could stand to be around such an annoying person but he wasn't that curious.

He didn't want to think about Corey doing anything with anyone.

If he had tried to pull Jeremy away then it wouldn't make much of a difference. He would've probably collided with Jeremy's chest because he was the same height as Danny and just about everyone was taller than them.

Danny laughed when he saw the girls push Corey away then kissed Jeremy on both cheeks before running away.

Corey immediately gave chase but there was literally no way that he would catch up to them, they practically lived in the gym and were cross country runners.

Jamie and Jesse were 19 yrs old and attending their first year at University, they were Asexual but had plans of adopting in the future.

Danny was happy for them. They were always nice to him and bought him whatever he wanted when it was his Birthday whenever his parents refuse to buy him anything they deem as useless, not wanting to spoil him too much.

Danny's PS3 and new games had been bought by them because his parents had refused to replace the one he had broken and the games which he had already beaten twice.

He had been a kid, what sort of electronics ever lasted around kids?

Sure, a game console may be deemed as useless but what the hell was he supposed to do? Read books all day?

Shaking his head at their antics, Danny walked away and over to where the food was set up, coming to a stop next to his other cousin, Brahm who was stuffing his face with food.
