Danny screamed as the sedan crashed right into them, burying his face in Wolfie's fur-covered neck as the Alpha took the full brunt of it; he heard Wolfie release a groan from where the steering wheel was pinning him and Danny against the passenger seat.

Danny could vaguely hear people screaming, but he pulled back to focus his attention on his Alpha whose half-lidded eyes were locked with his.

Tears streamed down the Omega's face and he sobbed, wrapping his arms around Wolfie's neck.

"B-Baby?" he sobbed, using his hands to roam the transformed Alpha.

Said Alpha released a low grumble and Danny squeezed his eyes shut to stop the tears from blurring his vision.

This... This can't be happening.

No, it isn't... Right?

This was all some messed up dream and any minute now, he was gonna wake up on their bed with Wolfie's arms around him with said Alpha not wanting to release him.

Danny kept his eyes shut and stopped paying attention to the loud noises around him to focus on his Alpha's heartbeat.

Thump

'I need some more sleep before I have to log into my school account.'

Thump Thump

'I wonder what I should make for Wolfie's breakfast. Maybe I should fry those Plaintains for him.'

Thump

'I don't wanna wake up now.'

Thump

'This is so weird... Wh-

Thump

'Wha- why do I feel so...'

Danny groaned as a loud noise brought him from his thoughts; his eyes snapped open as he felt Wolfie's body moving against his and he growled lowly, fangs making an appearance at the unknown Betas in front of him.

"Relax son, just here to help you and your Alpha."

Danny focused bleary eyes on the Beta who spoke. He had short brown hair, green eyes and a huge scar over his nose which started from under his left eye to his right.

Ouch.

He was also wearing the typical neon-green police uniform as he and his partner tried their best to free him and Wolfie without causing any more damages.

He blinked tired eyes at the Beta as they began carefully removing the steering wheel from where it had Wolfie's wolf form pinned to Danny.

"Don't you worry, son. Everything will b-

Danny lost consciousness shortly after.

Wolfie on the other hand remained alert as the unknown Betas worked on freeing them from where they were trapped.

Now, he wasn't too worried about any irreversible damages as their Exo-skeleton hugely differed than that of humans.

The only thing to be worried about was that he had taken the full brunt of the collision and would therefore be a bit sore for a while. But as long as Danny was safe, he really didn't mind what happened to him.

For all he knew, the Omega could be pregnant and he didn't want to risk the Omega miscarrying because it would be a devastating blow to Danny's pshyche.

He had seen Omegas succumb to their sorrows from miscarrying and he didn't want the same to happen to Danny if it turned out that the Omega was pregnant after all.

So at this moment, he remained thankful that nothing seemed wrong with him besides the emotional turmoil of being in an accident. Therefore, he wasn't all too surprised as Danny fell asleep against him. It was much preferable to the alternative of him panicking until he released distressed phermonoes which would serve to gain the attention of every unmated Alpha in the vicinity.

He couldn't help the low growl which escaped him as the Betas jarred the steering wheel pinned to his back.

"Not to worry, sir. We'll get it removed in no time," he reassured, stepping back so that his partner could remove parts of said steering wheel with the device in his hands.

Wolfie closed his eyes and began shifting back to make it more easier to remove, not paying attention to their rushed warnings about it putting pressure on him; he didn't plan on spending the entire day with this damn thing stuck to his back.

Nevertheless, he hissed as pain reverberated throughout his back as he turned back to his humanoid form. Okay, this was more painful that he thought it would be, but he still didn't mind because he knew it was better than being killed.

"W-What happened?" His eyebrows stayed furrowed even as the Beta finally removed the steering wheel so that they could easily move him and Danny without causing further damages.

"Well, it seems that it was just your typical case of driving while texting." The Beta grunted as he fought to wrap the back brace around Wolfie. "You know how teenagers are these days. No matter how much they're warned about the dangers of using their phones while driving, they still wouldn't listen and now look at what happened. Because of their stupidity, they ended up being pinned in the driver's seat by your car and another one from the side. They'll be okay, but their legs aren't in such a good shape right now. Hardened Exo-skeleton or not."

Wolfie honestly found it hard to feel an ounce of sympathy for the person who caused this entire thing and so help him, once everything was wrapped up, he was gonna sue the bones out of them. Breaking the law was one thing, but putting his probably pregnant Omega in harm's way took the fucking cake.

"Okay." The Beta behind him spoke up after attaching a neck brace to Wolfie who huffed at the feeling. "We are going to attempt to move you, so bare in mind that it'll be a tad uncomfortable."

The Alpha rolled his eyes and waited for them to move him so that he could check on Danny. He needed to make sure that the Omega was unharmed before he allowed them to transport them anywhere.

This day was turning to shit, but so far, it hadn't been completely ruined.

The accident didn't cause anything but feelings of discomfort - as far as he could tell- but they still had to wait until they were properly examined before he could say for sure.

"Fuck!" he cursed lowly, closing his eyes so that tears wouldn't spring to his eyes as the Betas began carefully moving him.

"Don't worry, sir. We've all underwent medical training so you're in safe hands."

Dafuq?

Did Wolfie look like he gave a fuck at this moment? He just wanted to get out of this blasted car so that he could examine his Omega.

He bit his lip to keep in the whimper as they transferred him to a gurney.

"Danny."

The Beta patted him on the chest in reassurance. "Don't worry, sir. Your Omega is in good hands."

Wolfie opened his eyes. "He... He might be pregnant. Please." He could only look at the sky since the neck brace wasn't allowing him much movement.

Did he really need this?

"Okay..." he heard the Beta mutter as he moved alongside where Wolfie was lying down.

Wolfie could see glimpses out of the corner of his eyes as the guy placed Danny down on another gurney.

"Don't worry, he seems to be unharmed," the other Beta informed him as he strapped Wolfie into the gurney while his partner did the same with Danny. "It seems like you took the full brunt of the collision."

Good.

He really didn't know what he'd do if he failed to protect Danny.

Damn, did he have a concussion or something? He was repeating himself.

"We're gonna take you to the Hospital now, sir. Is there someone that you want us to contact for you?"

Wolfie only grunted. The day he contacted Lukas and Persephone Hadrian was the day he would be admitted to the Psych ward. His parents weren't known to be warm and he doubted that they could even show sympathy when they hadn't even showed him affection when he was younger.

On the other hand, Danny's family would want to be here, but it would be a huge drag as they would no doubt coddle them until Wolfie lost his temper.

Even so, they were Danny's family and the Omega would want them there, so with an aggravated sigh, he replied. "Yeah... Danny's family would want to come so just look for a shitty Android phone because I don't know their numbers nor do I have it on my contact list."

The Betas huffed in amusement before they probably began searching for said phone.

Wolfie wished that he could turn to look at the Omega. But again, this damn neck brace wasn't helping much.

"Sir, this is an android Galaxy S9. I won't describe it as a shitty phone."

Wolfie rolled his eyes. "Whatever. Is it still working?"

"Yeah."

"Then there you go," he replied, closing his eyes to stave off the incoming headache.

He sighed softly, wanting everything to go back normal so that he could take Danny home.

"Yes hello, ma'a-

Wolfie stopped listening after that and instead tried to get some rest before they took them to the Hospital.

He couldn't wait to file a lawsuit against the piece of shit who caused this entire thing.

Lord have mercy on them.

...

Wolfie and Danny were given a clean bill of health with Wolfie only having a few cracked bones which would quickly heal over a week.

The soreness would take a while before it left, but oh well.

It was still too early to tell if Danny was pregnant, so no confirmation on that end.

Another thing was that Danny's family were trying to come but thier train was cancelled last minute so they didn't get to come. They would be released too quickly even if they planned on catching another train. It would just be a waste of time and money on their end.

Back to present, he was seated on the Hospital bed with a scowl on his face as the nurses fawned over him.

They had strong armed him into signing autographs and taking pictures with them and now he was just waiting for the fallout.

Unlike the other Hospital, these Nurses weren't acting professional at all and he was pretty sure that if he were to go online, there would be pictures of him.

He just hoped that when he eventually left, that there won't be Paparazzi waiting outside.

He couldn't help the soft sigh of irritation as the nurses refused to leave his hospital room even though there was nothing wrong with him.

You see, this was why Celebrities needed high-end Hospitals. If it came to it, they couldn't even die in peace.

He was withholding the urge to yell at them to leave unless he wanted them to go blabber on the net about him, but everyone had a breaking point and they were fast approaching his.

"Excuse me! Why are you all aggravating the patient?!"

Wolfie's eyes snapped towards the newcomer and he breathed a sigh of relief at seeing the Doctor.

The Nurses all had guilty looks on their faces as they scuttled out of the room.

Thank fuck!

"Mr. Hadrian, I apologize for their behavior and I implore you to understand that this Hospital is normally professional when interacting with Celebrities. Those Nurse are mainly interns at the moment so please excuse their behavior."

Wolfie nodded in understanding even though there was still a hint of irritation left on his face.

The doctor cleared his throat and sent him a soft smile. "Well, my name is Dr. Frederickson and from what I've observed and after reading your medical report, you are in good health and we can release you in two hours time as Hospital procedure dictates that patients should stay for a couple of hours in case any new injuries should surface after the initial check-up."

Wolfie nodded and slumped back against the bed. "Okay then. So, how is my Omega, Danny?"

"Don't worry, your Omega is in perfect health. It appears as if the emotional turmoil sapped his energy which would explain why he was sleeping. He should wake up any minute now and yes, you can visit him."

"Great. Which room is he in?" Straight to the point. He really had no more patience to beat around the bush with these bleeding doctors.

"Room 131."

Wolfie nodded. "Thank you." Right now, he was gonna get some rest before going to see Danny.

He wasn't in any hurry as the Omega was in perfect health.

He vaguely heard the door slam shut as the doctor left.

Time for a short nap.

...

Hours later, Wolfie had gotten a taxi with Danny back home after directing the police to a garage to deposit his wrecked car which that freaking teenager who damaged it in the first place would be paying for.

That little bastard was still admitted in the hospital and from what he had heard, the triple collision had cause his legs to be pinned in the car and if he was lucky, he wouldn't have any long-lasting pain in his legs.

He was just lucky that he wasn't human or he would've been fucking crippled.

Wolfie honestly wouldn't have batted an eyelash if the boy had died because he almost gotten Danny hurt and that was inexcusable.

So now, him and said Omega were relaxing in their bathtub where the water was mixed with Essential oils which would serve to help get rid of any soreness that they had.

"Damn," Danny started, pulling Wolfie's arms tighter around him, slightly disrupting the water. "I can't believe that happened."

He still sounded dazed and Wolfie just pulled him closer.

"Because of that irresponsible brat, I could've lost you and that is the scariest thought ever," he murmured softly, pressing a kiss to Danny's damp hair.

Danny hummed and turned, looking up at him. "Hey, I'm not human so chances of me dying that way is pretty low and you know that too."

Even though he wanted to reassure Wolfie, his words only managed to cause a flash of pain to erupt in the Alpha's chest after hearing that word.

"Danny, please. Don't mention that word right now," he begged lowly, closing his eyes as he pressed his face to the Omega's hair. "Even though chances of that happening are low, it still doesn't change the fact that if we weren't Werewolves, we both would've... you know. That's a scary thought to me because I don't ever wanna lose you."

Danny smiled and leaned up, placing a quick kiss on his lips. "And I you. Don't you think that I wanna live to get my wedding ring from you?" he teased, raising his hands out of the water to wriggle his fingers at Wolfie, showing off his engagement ring to the Alpha. "I also want to have my name legally changed to Hadrian."

Wolfie smiled and nuzzled their faces together. "I want that too. So very much."

"Hmm." Danny grinned. "Can you imagine me, Danny McArthur getting married?" he squealed and moved away from Wolfie. "Now that I think about it, what sort of Wedding would we be having?"

The Alpha just continued staring at him. He was still a bit jilted about the accident so Wedding venues weren't even at the fore-front of his mind.

How can Danny act so unaffected about this?

"You're..." He started, leaning back in the tub even as his eyes stayed connected with Danny's. "You're acting as if that accident didn't happen, why?"

The Omega rolled his eyes and moved closer to him, not caring if the water sloshed over the side. He then eased himself onto Wolfie's lap and wrapped his arms around the Alpha's neck.

"Honey, you gotta understand. Why would I keep torturing myself on what could've been instead of living in the present? If I stayed focused on the accident then how would I continue living? I can tell that you're gonna grow paranoid from this and that's really no way to live, so I wanna focus on the positive. Wolfie, we're alright. I'm okay, you're okay, we're both okay. We're Werewolves, not humans. The chances of us dying in a car crash are so low that even the chances of winning the lottery are higher than that and we both know how difficult that is." He leaned closer and bumped their noses together. "I'm okay. You're okay. We're both okay. I understand that you're still worried but I don't want you to focus on that accident for every second of every minute of every hour of the day. Focus on the present, not the past. Don't let it consume you, Wolfie. There is really nothing that you or I could've done to prevent this, you gotta understand that. You may be my Alpha but you sure as hell aren't some kind of God to predict or stop something like this from happening."

He tilted his head and connected their lips once more, moving his fingers up into the Alpha's hair.

Wolfie groaned and placed his hands on Danny's hips as he took control of the kiss, pulling Danny closer to his steadily hardening cock.

Danny moaned lowly and smiled into the kiss, not allowing Wolfie to break the kiss.

He didn't need the Alpha feeling guilty at not being able to stop this, they may not be humans, but they sure as hell weren't God's.

This accident was not gonna stop him from living his life to the fullest and he hated the fact that Wolfie kept thinking about it 24/7.

Well it wasn't that strange as the accident happened less than 24 hours ago, but Danny was putting it behind him because they hardly suffered any injuries. And even if they had, it would heal pretty quickly.

The emotional turmoil of going through something like that should have them in a state of panic, but meh.

He was over it.

Wolfie was different, but he was alive and well and it wouldn't do them any favour of thinking about the what-ifs.

So with the thought in mind, he broke their kiss for a second to whisper something to the Alpha before reconnecting their lips.

"Focus on me."
