Wolfie managed to compose himself so that he could get to work on the case files which would begin piling up the longer he avoided doing them.

At the moment, he had placed the case which had made him emotional under the other files so that he could focus properly.

Yeah, losing control of his emotions like that surprised him to say the least.

Sighing softly, he got back to work.

He knew that he should've asked for some more time off.

Danny groaned and got up off the yoga mat, stretching with a loud yawn.

"Hmmm, wonder what to do now."

God, he honestly had nothing to do and it was getting boring as hell.

"What should I do?" he muttered softly as be rolled the mat up.

Hmm, maybe he should make something. He honestly didn't know about that but it sounded promising.

Yeah he would do that. Ohh, and he should also make it Interactive.

He took the mat back to storage before grabbing his phone and the laptop he was accustomed to using from the kitchen.

Since he had nothing to do, he didn't know where to go and he couldn't exactly visit his friends. So, he needed something to pass the time and The Sims could only do so much before he got bored.

He also didn't really feel like watching any television shows or movies.

As the computer started up, his eyebrows remained furrowed on what game he should create.

Hmm.

Maybe one of those Logic type games. That should be fun.

As the computer finished loading, he opened up Microsoft word and began typing. He stopped a few times to get his thoughts in order before sticking to one concept.

After having some fun creating a game, Danny shut his laptop and got up. He decided on having a run around the property since it was pretty big and he didn't want to get lost if he went out of the compound.

He didn't even know if Wolfie's security guard would even let him out, so this was the next best thing.

He had not exercised in a while and he knew that it could have a negative effect on his fitness. Even though he was pregnant, he could still workout. It just meant that he wouldn't do train as hard as he was used to.

He didn't much mind.

Without a thought, he moved towards their bedroom to change into his new workout clothing and shoes.

The sooner the better.

To be completely honest, he really loved exercising. Many people would find that blasphemy, but it was the truth.

Once he got to exercising, he didn't even want to stop sometimes and knowing that he would have a pup in six months or less, he needed to stay in shape and to stretch his limbs.

So after getting dressed, he grabbed the house keys and stashed them in his pocket after securing his phone to the band on his arm.

He quickly stalked out of their bedroom, across the living room and towards the front door.

He couldn't wait to stretch his damn legs.

Time to show off for Wolfie's guard.

In his office, Wolfie had rejected a few cases which he had passed on to his other Colleagues who more specialised in those areas as Jackson wasn't around.

Right now, he was drafting the letter to take to the judge to remove River as his Parents' Solicitor.

He honestly couldn't wait to see the look on the Beta's face.

So while he was writing the letter, his office phone rang and he picked it up without much thought.

"You've reached Garroway Law Solicitors. Wolfie Hadrian speaking. How may I help you?"

Yeah... It was a requirement.

Turns out that asking, "What do you want?" sounded too passive aggressive.

"Hmmm, I just love the sound of your voice, Wolfie."

The Alpha stopped writing and if the pen in his hand was a pencil, the tip would've already broken off.

"What do you want?" Yeah... River was nobody so he didn't give a damn how he responded to him.

The Beta chuckled lowly at that.

"Tsk Tsk. You should really be more nicer than that, Alpha."

He growled and slammed his pen down, getting up off his chair to stand in front of the huge glass window. "Don't call me that! You are neither my Mate nor my friend."

"Touchy touchy. Wonder what crawled up your ass and died."

He sneered and managed to keep in his temper. River just loved riling him up as much as he could and here he was being an Idiot by letting him get to him.

"Instead of focusing on me, why the hell don't you go back to America and to whoever Alpha fathered your pup?"

The Beta growled at him in response.

"Ohh, still don't know? What a pity," he snarked, smirking smugly as he looked out at the buildings. "Now, what the fuck do you want?"

Silence reigned for a couple seconds before River replied, his voice sounding tight as if he was restraining himself from giving Wolfie a piece of his mind.

"I assume that you are now aware of the case against you by your parents." He stopped and laughed at that. "I can't wait to see you in court and just a heads up, the Judge residing over the case is aware of our history and has given me permission to continue as long as I'm not that one who discovers any evidence which would help against your defense. So lucky for me, I'll be double teaming you, hahaha!"

He rolled his eyes and glared at the unfinished letter on his desk.

That little bitch.

He didn't react the way that River must've been expecting because the Beta huffed at his reply.

"That's no big deal. As much as I would've wanted to boot your arse to the curb, it really isn't any hassle to circumvent my plans. So if that's all, bye." He hanged up and slammed the phone back on the receiver.

Hmm, there went that plan to get River changed, but he didn't really care.

He could win this shit with or without River.

It would be difficult because of the evidence gathered, but that's what he liked. He loved a challenge and even if he somehow ended up losing the Family Inheritance, it wouldn't affect him much because the money is tied up in stocks and a lot of charity organisations that his Grandparents had invested in before they died.

If his parents gained control, they couldn't remove the money from the stocks until 15 years have passed, so they would receive monthly deposits and the money in the Charities was better left alone because of the bad press they'll receive for removing it.

He didn't have anything to worry about and any Mental instability charges wouldn't pull through because he could go and have another psych evaluation to show as evidence.

If they thought that they could stick that on him then they had another thing coming.

Even with the Security videos that they were submitting as evidence, he could use them against them to build his own case.

Who knew, he might even get Jackson's help with it.

This would be... Hmm, he honestly didn't know what to say about this lawsuit.

Money really made people act differently, didn't it?

The only real thing that he had worry about was sabotage and he could return the favour to them if need be.

Oh how he loved playing dirty.

Danny jogged around the compound whith his earphones in his ear.

"Nothing gonna hurt me with my eyes shut, I can see through them, I can see through them."

He dodged the lone tree at the side of the swimming pool. And thinking of pool, he could go for a swim after his run.

"Cause I wanna beeeee, bigger than lifeee, for you ooh ooh, for you ooh ooh!"

To know if you stamina is great, you had to be able to speak or in Danny's case, sing while running to show improvement.

The most important part of running is to have the proper gear to avoid injuries and great breathing control.

Danny ran back around to the guard's station and nodded at the guy who nodded back.

Wolfie didn't have a garage nor any cars on the property. He had a separate garage a couple metres away from the house so as to not take up space.

They needed space for when they transformed to their Werewolf forms.

One thing that their Wolves loved was the freedom to explore and having small properties were just asking for trouble.

He sniffled lowly and ran across the length of the house and to the back.

This was his fifth time. He was aiming for ten before he would rest and take a shower before going for a swim and relaxing by the pool.

He couldn't believe that he hadnt done this before.

Minutes later

After completing his run, Danny took fifteen minutes to relax before jumping into the shower.

He knew better than to eat before swimming in fear of throwing up afterwards.

The 30 minute eating rule before swimming was there for a freaking reason.

He remembered one time, he had eaten an apple and went for a swim. Afterwards while showering, he ended up throwing up and had an upset stomach for the rest of the day. (True.)

So after showering, he put on his swim trunks and ran back outside, cannonballing himself in the water with a huge splash.

He began laughing as his head broke free of the water.

The shower was nothing compared to this.

Even though Wolfie had sprinkled Chlorine in the pool, it was still fun to duck his head underwater because it had no negative side effects like bladder and rectal cancer etc as it would in Humans.

A thought hit him out of the blue and with a low groan, he swam to the edge of the pool and got out.

He had forgotten to set up some speakers because swimming like this would be boring after a while.

He was also thinking of bringing the computer outside to watch a movie on Showbox.

He had been meaning to finish watching the remaining episodes of Naruto before finally moving on to Attack on Titan then Tokyo ghoul.

Yeah, he really loved Anime, but he didn't like reading the Manga.

He ran towards the house to get his laptop. He really needed to configure the settings on his Asus Republic of Gamers laptop instead of using Wolfie's.

He was planning on setting it up on the table so that some mysterious wind didn't come by and knock it off to stir something up.

His life wasn't some poor attempt at creating drama you know.

With that thought in mind, he placed the laptop down on said table, pulling the towel out from under it and setting it down on one of the chairs.

He opened up Showbox and searched for Naruto before realising that he would have to stay a certain distance to be able to see.

No thanks.

Danny groaned and grabbed his phone before hooking it up to the computer; he placed it on the table then ran back inside to get the speakers before setting them up so that he could play his music.

He hadn't bothered to download any music to the computer since it wasn't his to begin with. Yeah, what's Wolfie was his but still... You know?

After setting everything up and putting his Playlist on shuffle, he jumped back into the pool and began treading the water to warm up.

Yup, he loved exercising.

After passing the time, he took another shower and lied down on the couch after deciding to watch some telly.

This was so freaking boring! Seems like everyday couldn't be exc- *I know it hurts sometimes but you'll get over i-*

He answered his phone and placed it at his ear with aa soft sigh. "Yello?"

"Dude, have you forgotten about us or what? Has Wolfie's dick given you memory loss or something?" Natalia's voice rang out through the phone and he shot up with a huge grin on his face.

"Natty! Babe, how are you?"

"Oh piss off, you bloody wanker and answer me question. Have you forgotten us or something?" She replied.

Danny chuckled and laid back down on the couch. "I'm sorry, Natty. But we did have a dinner the other day."

"Yeah,yeah. That still doesn't make up for the fact that you've hardly been speaking to us. Sure, I know the distance and everything but still."

Danny snorted at that. "Yeah, sure. I'm curious though."

"About what?"

"The same way that I could've called you, you could've done the same. So honestly, we're both in a pickle and I love pickles," he said with a murmur of amusement.

Natalia snorted out a laugh. "Okay, okay. You got me there bruv. So, what are you doing and I wanna ask a favour."

"In that order?"

"I don't care which order it's in. As long as you answer them." She sighed lowly and Megan muttering under her breath.

Danny could hear papers rustling. "I was just gonna watch some telly and what favour? As long as its nothing illegal then it should be fine."

The Beta snorted again and released a sound of triumph. "Ah hah! So anyway I wanted to ask you if it was possible for me to come and spend like a month with you. I'm checking out some Colleges in London and I wanna get a feel of the area. Ohh and Ayame and Gage wanna come along."

Both of Danny's eyebrows rose as he finished speaking and he remained silent for a moment before speaking. "Uhh... Not that I don't want to help, but I honestly don't believe you. So what's the real reason? Met someone down here or something?"

He honestly had nothing against letting her stay over. The only person he wasn't sure about was Gage. Wolfie wouldn't behave too kindly at having another Alpha in their home, especially the one that had Danny's first kiss.

She laughed.

"Okay, fine. So, I have a cousin-in-law down there and he has a huge case that's about to go on, so he needs me to babysit his son since he won't be home alot. I'm the only family member that would be close enough to help... Well... pretty much the only one willing to help and not to mention, Phoenix, his son, already knows me."

He nodded in understand and released a low hum. "Well okay then. How about Ayame? I don't know about Gage considering everything."

"Oh, she really intends to check out Colleges along with Gage. He just wants to stay for a week since his family is coming back from vacation. He'll stay with them after so you don't have to worry about that," She reassured softly.

"Okay then. When Wolfie gets back from work, I'll talk it over with him but I doubt that he'd mind. The only thing that I'll have to convince him of is letting Gage stay but I'll figure something out." He released a groan at the thought I'd the incoming conversation. "When you get here, we're gonna do so much stuff together."

She laughed for a bit before continuing. "But hey, do you have a pool or anything?"

She was on the swim team so Danny wasn't that surprised that she asked that.

"Yup! No worries. Ohh and what's the name of your cousin-in-law. Who knows, I might know him."

"I doubt that you do because he's a yank. He's a Beta and he birthed his son over here. He's also a Solicitor."

"Interesting. I wonder if he knows Wolfie," he murmured, voice tinged with curiosity.

"Probably."

"What's his name?" He turned to look at the telly and picked up the remote to turn it on.

"River Brandon."
