(DAY 12: TURKEY'S NEST TAVERN, BEDFORD AVE., BROOKLYN, NEW YORK: 8:20 PM)

A scarlet haired man in his late twenties was drinking and eating at the bar. Secretly stashed in his clothing was his gun, the Light Void. Its bullets were able to shock the enemy closest to death and even void darkness itself. Also hidden on his person was his sword, Dragon's Shock. It was a blade made from Vibranium, a resource his gang loved to steal from Wakanda and had a lightning effect whenever it was pulled out of its sheath. An old bartender turned on the television.

" You're gonna see more unexplainable things, Kelan. " he said in his craggy voice.

" Wars these days... Though with more advanced technology than the last." Kelan lit the cigarette in his mouth as he looked to the news. Then, a tall African American man wearing a hoodie jacket appeared beside him, crossing his arms.

" My man, we've got freaks out of this world. Ain't easy to beat em either." he added.

" Yeah, " Kelan nodded.

" Same here, bud," a blonde curly Caucasian man in a suit nodded. " I thought the Hand summoned them." A short silence filled the atmosphere before the main extended his hand. "Name's Danny Rand. "

" Kelan Elder " he looked at the billionaire, meeting his hand with his own..

" Nice to meet you," Danny smiled.

" I'm Luke Cage, " his companion greeted, bumping fists with Kelan before shaking his hand.

" It's nice to meet you both ,but I'll get all buddy buddy after this." Kelan smirked.

" Yeah, even in dark times," Luke grinned.

" Wait, I'm hearing something..." Danny alerted his companions.

" I bet 20 bucks it's something big and hard to kill." Kelan took out Light void. " I'm ready for it! "

" I hope Murdock and Jessica are out there," Luke turned his head as they left the tavern with the young billionaire.

" Kun Lun's wisdom will guide me. " the curly one muttered as he illuminated his fists.

" Yeah,yeah, one of your mantras." Kelan made sure his revolver was loaded. Suddenly, a group of mysterious beings appeared nowhere as the three looked around.

" Damn, " Luke Cage saw the armored beings on the streets.

" What the hell?" Danny exclaimed in shock as he couldn't believe in what he saw.

" Well...I want my 20 bucks! " Kelan yelled

One of the armored beings pointed to the group and ordered something to his friends. They complied and aimed their guns.

" You can get your 20 bucks after this, man, " Luke said. " We'll just see how these freaks hold up on our turf! "

" Do you mind shutting up for a bit!?" Kelan aimed his revolver at the one armored aliens who banged his free hand against his armor as attempted intimidation.

" Hey just zip it." Danny replied and turned to the Cabal Dust Giant. " Let's see if you can beat us!"

The armored aliens attacked the trio. Luke quickly tackled one of the Cabal Dust Giants Danny made his uppercut blow to the Cabal but he was sent falling back. Kelan made more headshots to some of the aliens. On the other side of the road, there were dark hooded pale-skinned elf beings watching them from a distance. They had asked the Dust Giants to divert the Earthians' attention to the armored aliens.

" DAMMIT! " Danny yelled in pain as he couldn't stand up.

" Danny, we'll get you out of here, " Luke assured. " They're not just ordinary thugs."

" We just need a larger shock." Kelan looked at Danny and ran over to him.

" I'm gonna be fine..." he panted. Luke attempted to finish off the armored aliens, but he noticed another tremor from the ground.

" What the hell?!"

" Earthquake!"

" Never say that in battle." Electricity began flowing through his arms and healed Danny.

" Well shoot! " Suddenly, a powerful black flowing element appeared on the streets. The three saw it. The Cabal Dust Giants and the hooded Lunivians were responsible for the minor shattering in Brooklyn.

" What the..."

" Never seen anything like it...."

" GET TO HIGH GROUND!"

The three bolted to the top of the building as the Cabal forces released the element with the help of the pale-skinned alien man. They already had escaped as they had absorbed some of it under the streets.

" That element is otherwise void or something I don't know about." Kelan watched.

" I guess some strange guys from Division 6 knows something about that," Luke replied. " Including SHIELD."

" Them..?" Danny asked.

" Yeah..."

" What?"

" Okay, we're gonna be witnesses for this incident," the curly billionaire assured. " We better bolt before they ask questions."

"Where to?"

"I know a guy who's a Scientist... Asides from being an Avenger."

" The Avengers is a group that I don't really want to meet. Past stuff..."

" Okay, let's just leave some skeletons in the closet. Right now, this is serious, " the African-American said. " We need to talk to them. Trust me, they can help."

" All right, but if I'm arrested for something I'll tell you there and only there." Kelan rubbed his head.

" No, they're not gonna arrest you," Danny raised his voice. " This time, we're facing an entire global threat!"

" Whatever you say." Kelan got up

" Good," Luke nodded. " We need to get to Manhattan, first. " He turned to his friend. " Danny, can you contact him and ask him to meet us?"

" Yeah, I guess he's no longer busy with his superhero work or his other job tonight." he replied.

" Tonight? "

" It's 9pm, Kelan." Luke said.

" We'll just remember everything that happened. " Danny took his phone and sent someone a message. " I hope I won't disturb his personal time with his family."

Kelan's cigarette burned out and he let it fall from his fingers. " Got his address? "

" It's 177B Bleecker Street., Greenwich Village, Manhattan. "

" Good, we're going! "

(WILLIAMS RESIDENCE, NEW YORK CITY: 9:13 PM)

" Here we are," Danny smiled as he knocked on the door. " Hello?"

" Does he allow smokers? " Kelan whispered to Danny and asked.

" Hmmm, he prefers not smoking inside his house, you know he and his wife are both pyrokinetic Inhumans."

"Oh..." the red-head acknowledged and put his cigarette pack away

" Just keep it in your pocket, Kelan." Luke said and instantly pressed the doorbell as a male AI voice was heard.

" Please identify yourselves before entering the premises." the AI demanded and scanned the trio. Kelan put the packs in his pocket, " Should we just say our names? "

" Daniel Rand."

" Luke Cage."

" Kelan Elder."

" Access Granted. Welcome! "

" Hmm, it worked."

" Yeah, he's just like Tony Stark, except for his powers," Danny said.

" You mean that one rich guy? "

" Yeah," Luke nodded. Suddenly, a teenage Asian girl welcomed the three as they smiled at her. She was wearing a T-shirt and purple pajama pants.

" You must be looking for papa and mama, " she politely said in her Japanese-Chinese accent.

" Could you take us to them?"

" Hai, " she bowed. " They are coming, just wait here."

" That's their adopted daughter," Danny said. " Her name is Mizu."

" Nice to meet you, Mizu. I'm Kelan"

" It's nice to meet you, too, Kelan-san," Mizu smiled.

" Your dad and mom are too busy right? " Luke asked.

" Yes, Cage-san. "

" Then, we'll wait. " Kelan sat down and nodded himself to sleep. Mizu called over the phone as she spoke to her parents. The other two visitors were still awake while they were comfortably sitting on the couch in the living room.

" They'll be coming in 10 minutes," she said. " Would you three like a cup of coffee, tea, or something?"

" I guess he's too tired." Luke muttered as Kelan was sleeping and snoring louder.

" Yeah," Danny nodded.

" Oh okay," Mizu smiled.

" Definitely, my friend will wake him up with fire,"

" Yeah, wonder how he reacts."

Suddenly, a tall half-Asian man and his blonde wife just arrived and entered the house, as Mizu bowed and kissed their cheeks. Danny and Luke saw the spouses dressed in black, but Kelan was still snoring.

" Hey, they're here! " the curly haired man repetitively nudged Kelan's shoulders. " Wakey wakey Kelan!"

" hm? " the red-headed slowly opened his eyes and saw them.

" Mr. Rand, Mr. Cage, good evening," the man greeted them with a slight smile.

" Hey, you two brought another recruit for the Defenders?" his blonde wife asked.

" Not sure, about that," Danny grinned.

" But we witnessed something." Luke added.

" I'm joining the Defenders." Kelan looked at them

" Oh, good." Luke smiled.

" Welcome," Danny grinned.

" Well, is there anything that you need to disclose about? " the man asked. " I'm Dr. Pyromaniac, by the way."

" Kelan Elder,and nothing really. "

" Well, there is." Danny said. " That's why we're here. There are strange aliens appearing in Brooklyn. Luke, Kelan, and I saw them."

" What kind?" the blonde woman asked.

" Hmm, massive armored beings with big guns and no language skills?"

" Wait... Cabal, " Dr. Pyromaniac said.

" So, how did you guys encounter them? " his wife asked.

" We were talking when Danny heard them coming towards us."

" Then we fought them on the streets," Luke added.

" Yeah, then we saw a powerful liquid coming out of the sewers that caused an Earthquake in Brooklyn," Danny continued.

" So, that's why there's a 5.5 magnitude tremor," the Inhuman Avenger replied.

" You mean this?" Kelan took out a canner of the powerful liquid. " You got this? "

" Gravitonium, yes! This is it! "

" Is this important? "

" I've been studying some confiscated Gravitonium samples from SHIELD," Dr. Pyromaniac explained. " Which is under custody of Division 6, the enemies have been out there stealing that element back in London few days ago."

" So, this is important and the aliens want this liquid."

" Of course, it's for weaponry to shatter the entire planet, William Shakespeare had predicted it in one of his poems, before his death."

" All right. Despite that sounding ridiculous..."

" Well, yeah," the blonde lady answered and slightly smiled. " But my husband is still analyzing its benefits, despite of being a powerful one in nature. I'm Firefly by the way. "

" Nice to meet you, ma'am, " Kelan shook his hands to the Inhuman lady. " But what if void was mixed with it or any other elements?"

" Well, for some reason, it can be a weapon of massive destruction if it is being misused," the Inhuman Avenger replied. " It can manipulate gravity and create a powerful force."

" Like you're being pulled and shaken away, if you find yourself touching it," Firefly added.

"Damn. " Luke grimaced.

" Gruesome," Danny added. Kelan nervously laughed and handed the canister to Danny. " Yeah,I don't think I would like to hold it anymore."

" It's all right, at least sealed it in something, " Dr. Pyromaniac nodded. " I'll be sending it to the lab for a follow-up analysis. Thanks."

" All right."

" Pyro-daddy, should we neuralyze them? " Firefly whispered.

" Not now, I think I'll assign these three to the New York Response Team."

" Excuse me?" Danny asked as Kelan was silent and shocked in what he had heard.

" Congratulations, you three, you are part of the NYC Response Team," Firefly smiled.

" Oh,nice," Kelan smiled

" Well, we are all looking for more volunteers to prevent this entire alien invasion," her husband added.

" You guys can do it with a Yang!"

" What?" Luke curiously raised his tone.

" Explain..." Kelan scratched his head.

" It's my wife's silly expression," Dr. Pyromaniac nervously chuckled. " I apologize for her extreme quirkiness despite of this undesirable situation we have. "

"All right." Kelan sighed. " So when do we start?"

" Well, you'll be oriented by the head of the Earth Defense Task Force commander. I'm just a consultant for this activity along with Mr. Stark."

" That's the protocol for volunteers before the battle," Firefly nodded.

" Okay, but is there somewhere I can sleep?"

" Hmmm, you can go to SHIELD Headquarters as Agent Coulson welcomes other non-Division 6 people."

" Cool!" Luke beamed.

" Great! " Kelan loudly yawned " Let's get going before I fall asleep."

" See, I told you they can help, " Danny said to him.

" Hmm,yeah. But let's get moving. "

( SHIELD HEADQUARTERS, NEW YORK CITY: 11:00 PM)

On the wide corners, Kelan was somehow sleeping and snoring while standing. The other agents curiously looked at him while the women got annoyed. The two SHIELD agents went talking along with Luke and Danny as an Inhuman SHIELD agent interrupted the conversation.

" Royce, what's going on? " a man named Enoch Redwood asked.

" What's with you, dude?" his fellow Caleb Gray added.

" The Time stone is getting stolen! " the soothsayer cried. " It's a vision from my dream!"

" What do you mean? " Luke asked.

" Who has the Time Stone?" Danny raised his voice.

" Dr. Stephen Strange, " Royce seriously said. " He's not in his Sanctum, he's somewhere else. The stone has taken away from him!"

" How? " Kelan asked and opened his eyes.

" Those mysterious beings did it. They're Thanos's allies."

" Well, we need to try to find him."

" I'm afraid, they'll show up anytime soon with more allies, " Royce added. " He is coming..."

" Thanos?"

" Yes,"

Danny and Luke remained silent as they were shocked to what they had heard. They never realized more threats were anticipating for the planet to end.

" Well...this could be the hardest fight for humanity I'll do." Kelan had a brave tone

A Hispanic man in his 30s drove his black sedan from the streets as he was patrolling the streets. Listening to 70's music, he noticed another man walking around. He was a mid-thirties male with pure black hair and wearing a deep red suit. As he was walking around, it looked like a jagged prosthetic hand on his right arm as he was heading towards Strange's Sanctum.

" I've finally amassed enough strength to crush that Hypocrite under my heel! " the red-suited person wickedly thought and grinned.

" Yo, ese! Seen anything weird happening around? " The man was a Mexican-American dressed in a black suit. He curiously looked at guy in front of him. " There was a magnitude 5.5 earthquake in Brooklyn. "

" I'm sorry sir I have not....I'm Rey though....a pleasure to meet you, " he eyed the Man in Black suspiciously as he was mentally and physically ready to attack in case something would happen.

" I'm from NYPD Division 6. I'm on night duty. You know, looking for bad guys and the such." the Mexican-American showed his fake badge and ID. Rey chuckled as the officer now heard the person's slight New Orlean accent mixed with a refined accent.

" Well officer I'll be sure to feel extra safe now that your on patrol....and I'll keep a lookout for any suspicious business. " Rey flashed a small smile as he combed back his hair with his metal hand.

" Okay, I'll join and keep an eye on you. You know, Ese. A lot of bad things are happening around. You just have to be careful and vigilant. " the Man in Black sternly replied then Rey mentally sighed as he smiled.

" Then might I ask your name....I'd hate to strike up conversation without trying to know your name. "

" Seriously, is he for real? I'm gonna flash this chico's memories afterwards, " he gulped and nervously smiled. " Okay, okay... You want to know me. I'm Agent S. I'm one of those people that deal and monitor alien activities on Earth. Speaking of that, Avenger Pyromaniac is one of us. "
