She slept soundly in my arms, in my Tee and shorts. Her features were so lovingly adorable. She became so exhausted that she fell asleep as soon we took a bath. Undoubtedly, this was the best day of my life till now and I wish my future to be colored by her.

And I am not saying this for I just had the best sex ever. It was so much more than mere pleasure, not mere though. The trust she had on me, the desire I had for her, it was revered. Something I want to last forever, without any scar.

I am not perfect, no one is. Still I don't know how she is just perfect, moulded to be in my arms like this. Guess that's why soulmates exists, to erase the darkness we carry, make us proper humans, complete each other.

The day turned to be very different than what I presumed, for the better. My sight was adhered to her face. How her lips are pursed in a soft pout, her sweeping curvy eyelids so gently covering her eyes.

I sighed softly, moving cautiously to open the bedside drawer when one arm was her pillow. I took out a small box, opening it and blankly looking at the platinum loop. Even when I tried, I couldn't propose her today. She calls me courageous... I am so timid when it comes to her.

I pulled the ring out, softly sliding it on her ring finger, it was a perfect fit. She moved a little and I instantly faked sleeping. Her movements stopped and I opened my eyes once again, sighing heavily. My heart pounding like anything.

I immediately tried to get that ring off her fingers but it was stuck. For heaven's sake no! Not like this. God.

I tried to pull it out but she turned the other side and I just laid back, pretending to be sleeping again. Shit!

I seriously couldn't bat an eye while she was sleeping soundly. Relentlessly pondering over many methods, my final decision is that I'll blindfold her somehow and then pull the ring out- VAGUE! 

Her eyes squinted and lips mumbled something incoherent. She never woke up this early, she actually never did. God surely is not on my side. 

Finally she woke up, a sweet smile spreading her lips when she saw me. "Goodmorning Boongs," she spoke in her dulcet voice. I awkwardly smiled, "G- goodmorning. Why wake up so early? Sleep more!" 

She furrowed her brows in dement. "I want to spend more time with you before I leave," she muttered making my heart swell. I held her hand inside the duvet, not letting it go. 

"Why are you holding my hand?" She asked with a flummoxed countenance. Because your soulmate is an idiot!

"I... I just want to hold it forever..." I stalled time.

She snorted. "Aww but I need to pull my hand out of the duvet, Yoongi. And you're holding it too tight, I can hardly feel blood passing to my palm."

"Why do you need a hand?" 

"Huh?"

"I mean just tell me what to do. I will do it for you, why do you have to work?" 

"Yoongi, you're acting weird," she passed. "Leave my hand."

"No-"

"I said leave. my. hand." She threatened and I just had to let go. As soon as I loosened my grip, my brain kinda ordered me to hide in the blanket itself and so I did, sinking in the bed. After a few moments of no reaction from her, I peeped out and she was just blankly staring at the ring in her fingers. 

It's okay Yoongi. Do it! You've already ruined it. Just how much worse can it get? 

I inhaled a deep steadying breath and came out of the blanket, taking her hands in mine. She blinked and my heart hammered. 

"I know it is very weird and no one would want their proposal in bed right after they had sex. It feels unjustified and very ungenerous. I didn't want it to go this way, believe me. I am not the best man, Sora. I make a lot of mistakes, I am short tempered and even rude at times. I am this violent ocean and you're the calm moon. I... I am sorry I don't know what I am saying." My nervousness was getting the best of me I wasn't able to breathe, words were becoming difficult to make.

"But..." I spoke calmly, not looking at her face, rather on the ring on her fingers, flicking my thumb across it. "It's only the moon's gravity that controls the tides. I want to learn to live with you. I want to have your sleepy kisses and tired smiles. Your love, your presence makes me feel like a child, born again, to be happy. Marry me, Sora. I can't promise perfection but I promise efforts and love. Always." 

Even when it was sloppy and uplanned, I just did it. I proposed her, rest is her decision. There was silence the next few minutes and apprehensions were pooling my skull. I closed my eyes tightly, "Everyone said soap or dental floss can help take this ring-" 

She back her hands and pounced off the bed. "Ow..." she wailed falling back on the bed. 

"Hey? What happened?" I was perplexed. 

"I can't feel my legs. They hurt because of you dammit!" She grunted and I gave an awkward smile, sitting up. "But what were you trying to do?" 

"A happy dance?" She grinned broadly, her large eyes looking upto me while her body was above the mattress. "Yoongi..." She blubbered and sat up beside me. "Does the sun ever promised to shine?"

"Huh?"

"No right? It still does. Bright even in cloudy days. No promises. Just fate. So, to love you is not my promise. It is my fate. To burn for you till I can burn no more. The only thing I yearn for are the endless tomorrows spent with you. How in heavens can I not be happy when the love of my life proposed me."

My heartbeat was pulsing my veins or arteries, I don't know. The only thing I know is... her. She's it. "Cheesy," I mocked. 

"Still better than you," she winked.

"Do you mind morning breath for I just want to kiss your face off right now?" 

"I definitely do, Boongi. Stay away till you haven't got rid of those germs in your mouth," she threatened, shifting back while I leaned forward with a playful grin. She stood up again only to fall back. 

I chuckled. "Where will you go princess?" I teased and got out of bed to swiftly pick her up in my arms. She giggled cutely as I walked to the bathroom with her.
