YOONGI'S POV

I pressed the bell to her house impatiently. "Just come out already, I'm leaving without you."

Why did I agree to go with her? It's so hot and humid and I am wearing formals, waiting for her to make her damned presence.

"JUST FIVE MINUTES," she yelled for the third time.

So girls actually take more time.

"YOU CAN TAKE A CAB INSTEAD, I'M OFF," I grunted, faking to leave.

The door opened finally and she rushed out, still trying to get on her heels. She wore a red, that was the theme, bodycon dress. Her black enigmatic hair were side parted, splaying over her right shoulder. Her cherry red lips parted when she said something I couldn't make out.

My breathing was caught in my throat when I saw her approaching me with a wide smile that caused her beautiful hazel eyes squint in glee.

Her hand landed on my shoulder, taking my support to slip on her heels. The dress gave a careful view of her cleavage and flaunted her curves.

(A/N: Her dress reference:)

"How do I look?" She asked, spinning around.

I nodded simply, clearing my throat.

She clicked her tongue, "Come on. Took me a while to choose my dress. I had so many red dresses. Should I wear else? I was so confused-"

"This is perfect," I blurt out and instantly mentally slapped myself. "I can't let you change and take two more hours for God sake."

"I just took extra five minutes, what in hell," she rolled her eyes.

I was standing here for the past fifteen minutes. But okay, I guess. That surely could take a reasonable amount of time.

"Let's leave now, Miss Latecomer."

She pouted frustratedly. That pout was ironic! Her face gave totally different vibes that her outfit gave. Resisting the urge to just squish her cheeks, I walked ahead to the car, leaving her behind. I know she would follow. And she did.

I suppressed a smile, hearing her footsteps behind me. I sat in the driver's seat and she sat beside me.

"You should have gone by your own conveyance. But look what a free loader you are," I mocked as I started the engine.

"I hate to drive," she responded bluntly, looking at herself in the front camera of her phone.

Was she that worried of her looks?

"You look fine, just stop it."

"Hm... I think I should have used wine-red lipstick instead of the blood-red one. What do you think?"

"What's the difference?" I asked, concentrating on the road.

"Aish, forget it," she said, picking out a face wipe and some liquid to wipe off the color from her lips.

"What in hell? You brought all this?" I asked in incredulity and she shrugged. Now I know why she didn't want to drive.

She picked out another lipstick of a darker red shade, or maybe the same, am I color blind now?

I looked to her side and she was applying it to her lower lip. She glanced towards me and my eyes widened with my heart pounding as I applied brakes fiercely at a signal.

That was close.

I looked back at her, her lipstick halfway through her cheeks and her eyes closed, containing her fury. There wasn't a worse moment to laugh.

Her eyes opened, snapping her head to my side and fiercely punched my thigh. If you think it was any normal punch from a sexy girl, no! It was equally hard as Jungkook in his boxing instt!

"Ahh," I whined, rubbing my thigh.

"DON'T YOU KNOW HOW TO DRIVE, DAMMIT?" She yelled.

Oops?

"Go by your vehicle then. That's how I drive."

"Ahh... I should have gone by a cab or something. You are absolutely useless!" She said, picking out many face wipes out of the the packet.

"Classic woman," I blurt out.

"What's wrong with that?" She questioned instead making me void of any answers.

"Whom are you dressing this much for?" I smirked.

"For myself. I like to dress up," she looked back at me with a now calm expression. BUT HER HALF CHEEK KISSED BY LIPSTICK WASN'T HELPING HER TED TALKS.

Unfortunately, I laughed only to get another solid punch on my thigh. The signal turned green and I started again with a frown. My leg hurts! She's strong!

We finally reached the venue, and she wasn't done!

"Here, hold this," she handed me her phone while she was wiping that stain off that was almost off already. So, I was the mirror man?

"Why am I doing this?" I sulked, she did not even bother to reply.

Finally, it was done! But no... She took out some powder, putting it on her cheeks, covering the littlest red mark left with a sponge. Man. That stain was cute!

"Yup, now it's done, thanks," she smiled, taking the phone back from my hands.

"Thank God- oh! There's a little by your nose." I pointed out. She worked so hard for this, I couldn't let a single mark ruin her day.

"Oh really?" She questioned opening her front camera again. Impatient as I am, I took the face wipe from her hands to wipe off the little mark my her nose.

She remained silent, letting me do the job. Now, this thing was tough. The stain was so little on her face and I didn't wanted to ruin anything else. My heart was nervously beating, one wrong step, another punch and I am officially having a fracture.

I neared a little, wiping it off very carefully. I haven't done anything so carefully ever. But I did it! I smiled wide, "I am a genius for real."

"Genius?" She scoffed, "I do this everytime I go out. Then maybe I should say jjang jjang man boong boong?" She opened the door, leaving me there with my victory smile.

Sad. Embarassed. Humiliated. Looked down upon. Dramatically crying.

I pulled the handbrake and paced out too, setting my black blazer. I looked over at her and both looked away with a dramatic "huh", walking our seperate ways into the hall.
