"What do you mean you never..." Dominic paused with his hands clinging to his torso inches away from the waistband of his Calvin Klein boxers. "...saw one in real life. I—"

She watched several emotions waft over his face as he finished fully digesting the words she rambled out while watching him put his boxers back on. She bit down on her bottom lip hoping the crease that formed between his eyebrows and the pointed way he peered at her wasn't the look of anger. Maybe it was frustration. That she could deal with, she could make him understand and smooth things out; get their train to pleasure town back on track.

The cold air brushed across her bare skin, missing the heat of his touch and the warmth of his mouth. The goosebumps springing along her forearms weren't because the air condition was still set on seventy-five although the September sun and heat had dimmed giving the moon its time to reign. The chill bumps were the creation of his gaze that was void of the attraction and arousal that was there a couple of minutes ago. She took a step near him but he took a step back putting the space she tried to chip away at right back.

"It's not a big deal." She breathed out with a weary smile.

He huffed with a shake of his head, placing his sight on the fireless fireplace. "You're a virgin."

"I'm not." She refuted.

His head whipped back toward her in record time that the Guinness Book of World Records should be knocking on the door to give him a trophy.

"If you've never seen a dick before in real life..." He said, air-quoting the last three words. "Then you're still technically a virgin." Then he blinked as if something came back to him. "I thought you and your prom date got busy in a limo."

"We did. Uh... kind of." She held her waist, lifting her foot to let the tip of her toes feel the cool floor as she stretched her arch feeling a little less anxious. "It was mostly just..." She felt slightly embarrassed going into the sexual escapades of her youth but since he'd been fully naked in front of her she knew she had nothing to be ashamed about. "He gave me oral in the back of the limo but I would've done more if it wasn't for that Parent chaperone canvassing the parking lot."

Dominic let out a laugh that was full of mirth as the corner of his mouth ticked up with a slight hint of humor. "That's comforting."

"It is." She nodded, feeling her nerves beginning to untangle themselves.

"No!" He shouted. The volume was decreased from his voice but the irritation was still in his tone as he continued. "It's fucking not, Amila."

She flinched as if his word literally pierced her flesh, her heartbeat quickened as her eyes grew damp. She could feel it all slipping away. She knew this was going to happen once he found out. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. She mentally lashed herself for thinking she could pull this off. She was an easy read. It was why she was great at telling a story with her body on stage under hundreds of lights. She moved people to tears and ensnared them in wonderment because they could see the emotions starkly in her movements and adorn on her face.

"I didn't think it..." She paused, toying with her fingers. "It's not a big deal."

"It's not a big deal." He repeated her words like they were the dumbest things ever uttered since the creation of mankind. He snatched his dress pants off the floor and slid them back on as quickly as he took them off.

"After three days away, I wanted to come back to a raw, dirty fuck." He looked at the table behind her zipping up his pants as if he could see the scene play out in his mind then grimaced before refocusing on her. "But now that's not happening because you're a virgin."

She blinked a couple of times to stop the mist from collecting in the wells of her eyes. The way he was looking at her wasn't the same he peered at her at the door. Nor was it the same as when she sat on his lap just mere feet away. For three days his eyes drank her in like she was the very elixir his heart needed to keep beating; like she was the goddess he proclaimed she was. Did he see her differently now? Just because she didn't have the sexual experiences he thought she did.

He ignored her silence buttoning his shirt back up. "You should've told me before...you agreed. You should have let me know what I was getting into."

"Getting into?" She asked, being engulfed with confusion. "I don't see how my never being penetrated has anything to do with my willingness to accept our agreement. Fine!" This time her tone was the one to rise. "I've never had an actual dick that didn't have an attachment for the charger but that doesn't mean I don't want it. Sure, I was slightly taken aback by how things work and fit where they fit but I'm the stupid one because I thought I could be vulnerable with you. I slipped, forgive me, Benefactor."

She quickly brushed past him but didn't make it too far. He abruptly grabbed her arm, halting her gait.

"What did you call me?" He asked, grip going slack enough around her arm that she didn't feel threatened but stayed where she stood.

She peered down the hallway in front of her before turning her head to the side to glare at him. The word was heavy on her tongue before he repeated the word he found offensive.

"Don't fucking call me that again." He narrowed his eyes. The anger in his chocolate irises but there was something else there, an emotion that she couldn't adequately pinpoint. "Okay?"

She let out a silent breath still trying to read the mysterious emotion in his optics. "Yeah. Got it."

"Good." He leaned down and pecked a quick kiss to her temple but didn't move from the space he claimed next to her. He breathed in the sensual scent of her silken tresses then lowered his mouth near her ear sending a shiver down her back. "You deserve more than a quick fuck for your first time."

He let her arm go and strode towards the door.

"Where are you going?" She asked following behind him but unable to catch up with his strides in the heels; she could walk in them not run.

But thankfully for her, he stopped after opening the door. "For a drive." He gave her a glint of a smile before continuing. "Don't wait up."

After the door shut and she heard the engine of a sportscar rev she whispered to herself. "I fucked up."

Do you think she 'fucked up'?

Why do you think Dominic left? Where do you think he's going?

What emotion other than anger do you think was in his eyes that Amila couldn't name?

What do you think Dominic meant by saying 'You deserve more than a quick fuck for your first time'?

Should she have told him?
