The next day while Lanie took Axel to visit Carly with Jessa I went to the shop to get a tattoo.

When I walked into the shop Morgan smiled. "There you are. Come on over to my chair."

"Thanks for doing this for me Morgan," I said.

"So I come up with a few designs for you." She said showing me.

"I like them all but I like this one with Axel name and baby feet with a couple of ladybugs on his name," I said.

"Alright, then let's get going. Where are my sister and favorite nephew?" She asked.

"They went over to visit Carly with Jessa. She had been wanting to get her hands on him for a while." I laugh.

"Oh yeah, she asked for pictures a few times and kept telling us she wanted to see him. I bet she is over the moon." Morgan said.

An hour later she finished my tat and I love it. It was over my heart. I think Lanie will be surprised but she will like it.

"Thanks, Morgan I love it," I said getting up and paying her.

"No it's on me and who knows I might need you to give me a tattoo someday." She said.

"Thanks, I appreciate it. I'm going home and take a nap until my loves get home." I said.

"You guys come by later and we will grill out." She said as I walked out the door.

I got in my truck and headed to a flower shop to get Lanie some tulips. She told me a couple of times those are her favorites.

I headed home and put them in a vase on the kitchen counter and headed to the couch to take a nap.

It wasn't long until I heard the front door open and Lanie talking to Axel.

"I'm in here babe," I said.

"We were just coming to find you. Were you taking a nap the whole time we have been gone?" She asked.

"No, I went to the shop," I said.

"Did you have a customer?"

"No, I was the customer," I smirk.

"Oooh let me see Jax."

"I got a tattoo on my chest." I smile at her.

"Well quit holding out I want to see it." She said.

I took my shirt off and gently removed the bandage and showed her.

"Oh my god, Jax I love it! And the ladybugs are for me." She smiled.

"Of course they are. The most two important people in my life are close to my heart." I said.

Lanie got up and walked over to where I was and sit on my lap. "You surprise me all the time Jax."

"I wish I could have you naked in my arms but I know your body cant handle it yet," I said.

"No, sadly you will have to wait a few more weeks." She said just as Axel begin to cry.

"I got him babe go do whatever you need to do and I'll take care of him," I said as she got up.

"Ok, I'm going to go take a shower." She said.

"Morgan wants us to come down they are going to grill out," I said as she walked off.

I stared down at Axel and he changes so much every day it seems. The more I look at him the more he looks like Lanie.

The pictures that Brenda brought of Gavin was a dead ringer for Axel. It's amazing that as long as he's been gone he's still living in Axel.

"You are momma's boy aren't you Axel?" I can't wait to pass the soccer ball around with you." I said kissing his cheek.

Lanie came down a little while later in a cute purple sundress. "I figured I would get ready while I had the time."

"It's fine Axel and I are just hanging out. I was telling him how much he looks like his grandpa Gavin." I said.

"He does. I wonder if I could get a bear made for him? I think April still makes them. I'll have to ask mom." She said.

"That would be nice babe. I know how much that bear helped you over the years." I said.

"It really did. Ok, I'm going to put some milk in a bottle for him and I will be ready." She said walking to the kitchen.

I changed Axel's diaper and put him in his carrier and when we come back down Lanie was ready.

"Ready to go?" I ask.

"Yeah, I have his diaper bag fixed. It's weird having to always carry this around." She laughed.

"What about him? He's going to get heavier and you will develop muscles." I laugh.

"Maybe I need some. I am awful skinny." She said.

"You look, beautiful babe." I smile at her as we walk out the door.

We walk down to Morgan and Trace's and ring the doorbell. "Come in!" Morgan said.

"Hey, guys!" Lanie smiled.

"Don't knock or ring the doorbell just walk on in. Let me get a look at my nephew." Morgan said.

I uncovered Axel and he smiled. "Oh my gosh look at him smiling!" Morgan giggled.

"If I didn't know any better sis I would say you have baby fever." Lanie laughed.

"No! I just love him and love looking at him but I don't want my own. I can just spoil him." She smiled.

I left them to talk in the kitchen and walked out to where Trace was grilling. "Hey man!"

"Hey, how's it going?" Trace asked.

"It's good! I left your wife in there cooing over Axel." I laughed.

"She is obsessed with him I believe." Trace laughed.

"Lanie asked if she had baby fever and she said no she can just spoil him," I said.

"Oh, and you know she will. She said your tattoo came out great." He said.

"Oh it did and Lanie loves it." I said raising my shirt and pulling down the bandage to show him."

"Oh man, I love it, and right over your heart that's the perfect place." Trace said while flipping the burgers.

"She did a great job." I smile.
