We came home the next day and our house has been busy. Family and friends coming in and out bringing food and gifts and just wanting to see Axel.

Lanie looks more than beautiful when she's holding Axel and nursing him. I couldn't love her more if I even tried.

The leapfrog couple are coming over today and I can't even remember their names half the time.

I chant Brenda and Julian over and over in my head when the doorbell rings. "Hey, guys come on in. Lanie is in the living room."

"Thanks for letting us come meet our great-grandson," Julian said.

"You guys are welcome over anytime," I said walking them to the living room.

"Hey, grandpa! Grandma!" Lanie smiled.

"Oh look at that baby!" Brenda gushed.

"I can see the both of you in his little face," Julian said.

Lanie handed him off to Brenda. "I can even see a little Gavin in him. Lanie, he looks a lot like your dad when he was born. I will have to bring you a picture." She said.

"Oh, grandma I would love that." Lanie smiled.

I walked over and sit beside Lanie on the couch and watched her grandparents with Axel.

Once they left Lanie was tired so she went upstairs to lay down and I put Axel in his bassinet in the living room and begin to make some dinner for whenever Lanie wakes up.

I was pulling some chicken out of the freezer when the doorbell went off. I rushed over to the door so that it wouldn't wake Axel up.

Morgan and Trace were standing at the door. "Hey, guys come in!"

"Thanks, we umm brought some food and I wanted to see Axel," Morgan said.

"Thanks! I was about to pull some chicken out of the freezer. Axel is asleep in his bassinet and Lanie is upstairs asleep." I said.

"We brought some spaghetti and garlic bread for you." Trace said handing me the containers.

"You guys are lifesavers. Let's go into the living room so you can hold Axel." I said.

I picked Axel up and put him in Morgan's arms.

"I said I don't like kids but I love this little guy. He is so cute. I bet you guys are tired of people dropping by." She laughed.

"No, it's been nice. Your grandma and grandpa were here a bit ago and your grandma said that Axel looks a lot like Gavin when he was a baby. She's going to bring Lanie some pictures." I said.

"Well I mean I could understand since that was Lanie's real dad," Morgan said.

"I'm going to go check on her I'll be back," I said getting up and rushing upstairs. When I opened the bedroom door she was curled up in a ball asleep.

I went back downstairs and Morgan was singing to Axel.

"She's still asleep and I just don't want to wake her up," I said.

"Oh don't wake her up we really just wanted to bring food and check out our growing nephew." Trace said.

"Trace I bet Carly cant wait to see him. You will have to bring her over." I said.

"Oh, she's asked about him a lot. She's supposed to come over later with Jessa and Tony and I may just bring her by." He said.

"You guys didn't just cook spaghetti for us did you?" I asked.

"Of course Jax," Morgan smirked.

"Really?"

"No, we made a bunch and going to heat it up for later." Trace laughed.

"You were starting to make me feel bad." I laughed.

They stayed for an hour and once they left I changed Axel's diaper and got the bottle that Lanie had pumped earlier and fed and burped him rocking him in the recliner when Lanie walked into the living room.

"Hey, babe did you sleep well?" I ask.

"Yeah, I really needed it thanks. How's Axel doing?"

"He's good! Trace and Morgan came by and she held him for the longest time singing to him." I said.

"Why didn't you wake me?" She yawned.

"Because you needed your sleep. They may stop back by later with Carly. She cant wait to see him." I said.

"Oh, I bet she can't . Well, now I'm hungry." She said.

"Well, you're in luck. They brought spaghetti and garlic bread. I'll go heat it up. Here take your son." I smile walking over to her.

"It would be my pleasure." She said.

I handed Axel over and kissed her before going to heat up the food. Once heated up I carried it out to the porch and she put Axel in the bassinet and followed me out there.

I lit a candle between us and she smiled. "I love you Jax thank you for everything you have done to help me."

"I love you too Lanie and he's my son too and it's only fair that I help you out with him. Plus I love doing it." I smile over at her.

"When are you going back to work?" She asked.

"I'm not sure yet. What about you?" I ask.

"I'm not sure either. I mean I could take Axel and I know the girls would help me out. I just haven't decided." She said.

"I guess we have time. Your dad sure doesn't mind and I know Jessa and Sunny will keep the shop going for you as well." I said taking a bite of garlic bread.

"That's the best part about family isn't it?" She laughed.

Before I could say anything the doorbell rang and I went to get it and it was Kash. He was bringing more stuff over for Axel.

"Kash really?" I laugh.

"I can't help myself and my grandson needs more items. Where is he?"

"He's in the bassinet asleep in the living room. We were out on the porch eating dinner Morgan and Trace brought over.

"Well don't mind me. Go finish your dinner I just want to hold Axel for a little while." He smiled.
